Long Beach All Star; Classic Cali Fish; Cabo tacos
    Vadim B.

Aloha Wings turned out to be delicious and ended up to be the best dish we tried that night. They were done to perfection and had a very flavorful interesting sauce/glaze. We then ordered several different tacos and one Steak Chimichurri. Long Beach All Star, Korean BBQ, and Bohemian tacos had very dry hardly-chewable meat, very little of no-meat ingredients, and almost no sauce which made them even more dry. Add to this a thick dry corn tortilla and you get a worst-tasting-taco :( Out of all ordered tacos only Cabo Fish and Classic Cali Fish tacos were decent. Not perfect, but ok. They also were quite dry due to scarce sauce and additions, but better than the other three. Not sure, why this was the case with all tacos. Was the chef feeling greedy that day? The fish was good though, so these fish tacos could be made delicious, but they were not. Steak Chimichurri (ordered medium rare) came looking great but turned out to be well-done. Later on the receipt I found it was written down as "medium". My son ate it but it was unimpressive, just ok to stuff the belly of a hungry teenager. The beans served on the side were from a can. We all agreed on this based on their taste and this was not nice. The service was average and unremarkable. Unfortunately, the place didn't meet expectations on food and we are not coming back. We cannot recommend this restaurant. I wonder if the food is better in other locations but I'm not too eager to try. Couple of suggestions to the owners: a) For tacos provide a choice of "Homemade Corn Tortilla" and a regular thin soft flour taco/tortilla. I understand it's the matter of preference but it's so easy to give your customers a choice on this. b) Please don't serve canned beans or any other canned food.

    TRES BIRRIA TACOS

The food was bussin, like if you want some good ass birria tacos on Staten Island. The inside was nice not too crazy crowd the day I went (on a Friday afternoon) the service was alright our server was kinda getting lost but I still got my food and it was good The birria tacos was meaty and cheesy so good A little pricey, also a table for two is pretty small we had one appetizer, 2 meals and it was on the edge so I recommend to get a bigger table if you decide on order more then three thing

Empty plates for over an hour and half after ordering!!!

Reservations were made for 70 people for a fund raiser. The host had no idea what were talking about confused and handed 2 menus only to tables who had as many 10 people. The restaurant was not able to handle the amount of people that showed up. My personal table had 7 people at it. Appetizers came out with entrees for some dishes . My self and husband food was never brought out . Drinks forgotten. Definitely not a place I would recommend for crowds . Siting over an hour and half. One person with allergies alert had. The tomato's all over the food . Trying to cancel the food the waiter would not cancel the order. Certainly will not return or recommend there is no organization, experience or enough staff to accommodate the customers . The bill comes they do not ask if your paying cash or card added extra charges to the bill added tips to bills with out informing customers

How large is the bar at the Arthur Kill rd location? Good bar to eat at?

It's pretty decent . It's a good size to hang out in. And food is pretty good as well. Recently ate there. Little expensive but good.

Upon getting there, it is a nice Marina bar that has a grave a lot. We walked shortly from the parking lot and got seats of the bar right away. There was a good amount of people there for a Saturday afternoon. However, we were helped right away. Their beer prices are pretty phenomenal in my opinion. The selection I think is pretty good too. We were speaking with one of the people behind the bar and they said the plan is to also have food trucks here eventually as well for a food option. There is ample seating here as you can see from some of the pictures I took and the two staff we talked to were very friendly. One thing that could be a pro or a con depending on your disposition is that this is an outdoor bar. There are a lot of fans going and it has a very nice breeze. How over on a hot day where something loose and breathable. However, in the spring and fall I can imagine this place having a big crowd because it seems like a really nice place to have a drink and hang out. All in all. If you're local, I would definitely come check this place out. We will definitely be back in the future.

Nestled in downtown Woodbridge NJ, this steakhouse is located inside of an old bank! I already knew before entering it was gonna be beautiful! We were greeted by the hostess and owner of the restaurant. They immediately said happy anniversary to us and escorted us upstairs to our table. As i thought this restaurant is stunning. Sexy dim lighting, beautiful chandelier and candelabras adorned the bigger tables. The space is huge. High ceilings and even an elevator. I couldnt resist snapping pics of the aged meat behind the glass. Every detail in this restaurant is intentional. Our waitress Danya was the sweetest!!!! She was so attentive and took time to explain the menu. She checked on us the entire evening. She didnt miss a beat. Even saw that my fork had some dishwashing spots and went to get me another. For the food, we started with fried calamari and crabcakes which were both outstanding! We ordered cocktails which was old fashioned and a bay breeze made perfectly. The main course is the reason u come here! We ordered the porterhouse for two with the truffle mac and Brussels sprouts. Steak has a really nice flavor! I didnt like the truffle mac but the brussel sprouts were delicious!! We were def full but our wonder waitress insisted on a celebratory ice cream with a sparkling candle. It was very nice! Before we left the owner came up to ask how everything was. He was a cool guy and told us a bit about the restaurant and his future expansion happening! I love that he said he use to come to the bank with his parents as a kid and now he owns a restaurant in the space....full circle moment. We truly enjoyed our time here! Thank u for making our Anniversary dinner so special. We will for sure be returning. I have to try the snapper next time!!!

From what I've heard, it usually gets packed during peak sports seasons--but we happened to hit a lull (post-football, pre-baseball, and no major games on), so we basically had the place to ourselves. That actually worked in our favor--the quieter atmosphere made it easy to relax and enjoy conversation without the usual sports bar chaos. Drinks were a highlight. I went with the sangria, which was refreshing and well-balanced. Instead of ordering full entrees, we decided to share a bunch of appetizers. Everything that came out looked great, and everyone in the group seemed really happy with the flavors. As someone with a gluten allergy, though, I was pretty limited in what I could order. The ribs ended up being one of my only real options--but thankfully, they were tender, flavorful, and definitely the standout for me. Still, I do wish there were more gluten-free choices, especially since we were there to celebrate and share food. One thing that stood out (in a not-so-great way) was that we felt a bit rushed toward the end of the meal. We didn't even get the chance to order a birthday dessert, which was disappointing given the occasion, but seeing since it was only our group there I'm sure they were ready to close and go home. Service overall was attentive and friendly while we were dining, so no complaints there otherwise. It was winter when we visited, but I can see this being a great spot in warmer months--the outdoor seating looks like it would really add to the experience. Parking was easy on a Sunday night, and they do have a lot, but make sure to read the signs carefully since some spots are reserved for the theater next door. Overall it has a great vibe, solid drinks, and food that people clearly enjoy--I just wish there were more gluten-free options so I didn't leave still a little hungry.

Now for the food. The seasoning was immaculate. We did try the griot app (not pictured) and it was very flavorful. The Rasta pasta dish was seasoned appropriately and provided a comfortable heat. If you are used to typical heat of pikliz then you may find the spice level was at a mild level which paired nicely with the passion 75. The drink tasted more like a spin on a mimosa but I was wish the passionfruit was from the fruit to bring in the tartness - still good. The cheesecake was pretty standard. A few of my guests are very familiar with Haitian cuisine, so we were really looking forward to the experience. Unfortunately, I was immediately disappointed when we arrived because there was no customized/pre-booked menu prepared for our party as discussed beforehand. When I asked about it, I was told they were unsure what happened and no menus had been printed. Because of that, I had to ask the server to verbally explain the dinner selections and sides to everyone. Now for the food: The Ou La wings were delicious, and the crab cakes were excellent so flavorful and moist. We are familiar with soup bouillon, but unfortunately this version was not enjoyable to us. It had a very tangy taste that seemed off. For entrées, the griot was served with diri djon djon, fried plantains, and broccolini. The griot itself was good, but the plantains were fried extremely hard. This entrée was also supposed to come with salad russe, but that was missing. The salmon was delicious overall, although a few guests felt it was very dry. The mashed potatoes and broccolini were good. I also asked for pikliz, which was excellent and had the perfect kick to it. The drinks were definitely delicious and strong. Dessert was another disappointment because the crème brûlée I had pre-booked was unavailable. I ended up trying the carrot cake and almond toasted cake, which were okay. I will say our server was very sweet and attentive throughout the night. The restaurant itself was also nice and clean. However, the food took quite a while to come out, especially for a dinner that had been pre-planned in advance. Overall, there were just too many hiccups for an event that was booked ahead of time. While there were some enjoyable dishes and good service, I personally would not recommend this place for a large party or special pre-planned event.
