While in the store I called my office and was advised that payment was mailed. Knowing this I asked to speak to their accounting department and was advised they would not be in the office until next week and they would contact me. I left my business card. Monday I returned to Haney Builders Supplies and again asked to speak to their accounting department and this time was told they were busy and they would contact me, once again I left my business card. 3 days has passed, I returned to Haney Builders Supplies, asked to speak to their accounting department, as this matter needed to be cleared up, and again, I was told by the counter staff that their accountant was busy and they would contact me. Frustrated, I told them I wanted to close my account. Again, 3 days later, I returned to Haney Builders Supplies and asked to speak to their accountant and the staff at the service desk called the accounting department, again, I was told they were busy and would contact me as soon as possible. Next day I received an email from their Credit Manager saying "per your request we have closed your account for Active Auction Mart. I seldomly, if ever, needed to travel further for the hardware or tools I was looking for. Quality items at a reasonable price. The moment it switched to a Rona, I started experiencing issues. My first purchase as a Rona had a problem with quality and I needed to return the product. I was giving this review some time, hoping that things would improve. But I haven't had great luck. The inventory availability and selection just don't seem what they used to be. The management of the store told me that their affiliation with Rona gives them access to better product range, since Rona is more Hardware and Ace is more agricultural. But I think this store is trending to become a typical Rona... Which would be lower quality items at average prices, and low availability of products. On top of that... Ownership and staff are the same, and they are still the same cheerful helpful bunch, however the store seems to be very messy and dirty all the time. Definitely not as welcoming and navigable. I wonder why?
