Yesterday I was at this location and made a simple return and purchase of a more expensive item. I…read moredebited my purchase with my bank card and the POS machine showed that it was approved. The cashier however could not get the register to print a receipt so she called the manager. The manager insisted that the purchase amount did not go through the system so once again I made the purchase with their POS direct debit system. After returning home, I checked my bank account online and indeed the purchase had gone through twice. I returned today and spoke to their Dept. Manager Chris, who looked up the information on their system and told me that it was only charged once, even though I had printed proof of my banking statement with me. He then proceeded to call my bank and they would only speak to me about the information but insisted that yes indeed, I had paid twice! He still would not refund the one amount and insisted that I had to wait until he had received information from his head office about the situation. This was totally unacceptable and a very disappointing way of treating the customer even though he was the one that made the telephone call to my bank and I also came with the written proof from my account that I had indeed been charged "twice". Unbelievable customer service!!!!!

I took a door with hinges to ID &M to ask if they would suggest some kind of a swap to smaller hinges. Two men worked with it for about 20 minutes and gave me two smaller hinges and suggestions to do the switch. They would not accept compensation for their time and materials. Happy to say that today I installed the new hinges; they fit perfectly and now my equipment fits. What a professional class act.
