As a fan of the Baltimore Ravens and Baltimore Orioles, Poor Bous Sports is a one stop shop for all…read moreyour gear for either team! Depending on what time of the year you go, the store will have more O's gear (Spring and Summer) or Ravens gear (Fall and Winter) but both teams always have some gear all year round. The shop does a great job stocking new t-shirts and gear whether it was the new City Connect collection debuted by the O's this season or the annual Ravens salute to service collection. There's an online store too so you can ship gear if you can't trot to Dundalk but I recommend if you're a fan of either shop to make your way to the store at least once in to your life time!

This is a good local spot for some sports items and gardening odds and ends. To be 100% honest, I…read moreonly go for gardening items and have never really browsed the indoor section of the store. However, from what I could see when I am checking out they do have a fair selection of both Ravens and Orioles items ranging from socks to jerseys! In regards to the gardening items, for not being a specialty store, they do offer a great selection of soil, pots, and in the spring/summer time vegetables and other outdoor flowers. They do also sell some indoor plants but the selection is very slim compared to the rest. With that the prices on some items can be higher than expected but again, it is a local store so I almost expect it for them to be able to maintain buying them in smaller quantities. The staff are also very friendly and willing to help and/or answer any questions you have.

A Big Thank You to Play It Again Sports - A Company That Truly Cares…read more You often hear about the negatives when it comes to businesses, but I want to take a moment to share the good--and in this case, the great. I've had nothing but positive experiences with Play It Again Sports over the years, both as a customer and a member of the community. From buying and selling equipment for my daughter and her various sports to getting my own gear serviced, they've always gone above and beyond. Most recently, I reached out to them about equipment for a charity event, hoping to find affordable options. Instead, they generously donated what we needed. Their kindness and compassion blew me away. The team is professional, helpful, and community-minded. Because of their consistent support and genuine care, Play It Again Sports will always be my first stop for any sports equipment needs. Thank you for making such a positive impact--you've earned a loyal customer for life

Let me start off stating I have very high standards. The Play it Again Sports in Baltimore has met…read moreand exceeded all of them. I purchased some Kettlebells from them in April just as were all going into lockdown. They had the items in stock, and sold them without gouging. Many places were selling at $3/pound, PIASBmores sold at a much more reasonable rates. Then they were able to deliver to HOCO since they had a delivery coming to that area, saving me from driving up to BMore. Now I found myself wanting some dumbbells, again PIASBmore came through, where so many people are attempting to sell 2 20lb dumbells for $100 they again came through with normal prices. What's more they held their original quoted price even when their cost increased. That is putting the customer FIRST! Jamie and the gang really work for you. Give them an opportunity.

I grew up in Dundalk. My grandmother used to take me to Eastpoint as a child. I went to see Santa…read morethere, the Easter Bunny. A hundred stores must have come and gone since then. It's a sad shell of a space now. To think there used to be penguins and monkeys there. Eastpoint is now a popular local meme: "If Eastpoint Mall hasn't given up neither should you"... However, several stores and kiosks are still decorated for Christmas and it's August, so I don't know about the "not giving up" part. I have never seen so many downtrodden employees, lounging in empty stores, scrolling aimlessly through their phones. They know no one is coming to save them from the relentless boredom. Someone will rob one of the jewelry stores, if they're lucky. There are three food stalls in the food court: a Japanese place that doesn't give samples (I grew up having sample givers chase us through half the food court), a chicken box/fish spot, and the pizza place that has been there since the dawn of time. Nothing substantial. Definitely nothing that could be called a national chain. Want a cheeseburger? You're going to have to leave the mall and walk across the parking lot to McDonald's. JC Penney is the only anchor store, which never bodes well. Value City is gone. I swear my mom must have bought 90% of her furniture there. Remember when there was an Ames there? Or the Kmart? There's a haunted house in that space now. How very Dundalk. What other mall do you know that has a haunted house in it? There wasn't anything that I particularly wanted to buy out in the mall. I like to take a spin through about once a year. Watch the slow decay of yet another happy memory of my childhood (we used to go to the Friendly's there - it was across from the Brass Hen - and that's where I learned I love black raspberry ice cream, for example). I won't be surprised when it finally closes. I'll be sad, but that's the fall of capitalism for you. It's a race to the ultimate finish line between Eastpoint and Marley Station in Glen Bernie. It'll be interesting to see which survives the longest.

This mall is suitable for leisurely walks and window shopping. I usually visit JCPenney's and grab…read moresome cookies. I would also come to catch a deal at Bath and Body Works. However, they recently relocated to the Canton area. I hope they can secure another anchor store. I would avoid those jewelry stores and the food court.
