I grew up in Dundalk. My grandmother used to take me to Eastpoint as a child. I went to see Santa there, the Easter Bunny. A hundred stores must have come and gone since then. It's a sad shell of a space now. To think there used to be penguins and monkeys there. Eastpoint is now a popular local meme: "If Eastpoint Mall hasn't given up neither should you"... However, several stores and kiosks are still decorated for Christmas and it's August, so I don't know about the "not giving up" part. I have never seen so many downtrodden employees, lounging in empty stores, scrolling aimlessly through their phones. They know no one is coming to save them from the relentless boredom. Someone will rob one of the jewelry stores, if they're lucky. There are three food stalls in the food court: a Japanese place that doesn't give samples (I grew up having sample givers chase us through half the food court), a chicken box/fish spot, and the pizza place that has been there since the dawn of time. Nothing substantial. Definitely nothing that could be called a national chain. Want a cheeseburger? You're going to have to leave the mall and walk across the parking lot to McDonald's. JC Penney is the only anchor store, which never bodes well. Value City is gone. I swear my mom must have bought 90% of her furniture there. Remember when there was an Ames there? Or the Kmart? There's a haunted house in that space now. How very Dundalk. What other mall do you know that has a haunted house in it? There wasn't anything that I particularly wanted to buy out in the mall. I like to take a spin through about once a year. Watch the slow decay of yet another happy memory of my childhood (we used to go to the Friendly's there - it was across from the Brass Hen - and that's where I learned I love black raspberry ice cream, for example). I won't be surprised when it finally closes. I'll be sad, but that's the fall of capitalism for you. It's a race to the ultimate finish line between Eastpoint and Marley Station in Glen Bernie. It'll be interesting to see which survives the longest. read more

This mall is suitable for leisurely walks and window shopping. I usually visit JCPenney's and grab some cookies. I would also come to catch a deal at Bath and Body Works. However, they recently relocated to the Canton area. I hope they can secure another anchor store. I would avoid those jewelry stores and the food court. read more

This is my second time visiting this mall, and I low key love it. I love that's it's not overcrowded, not to many people. I mainly go to the bath and body works, today I had time so I walked around to see what other stores they had, I also ventured to the food court, they had a couple of options to choose from, I ended up at kitchen cafe. read more

This "mall" was depressing. I'm not from the area and came to pick up a bath and body works order. I thought it was a normal mall so I was hoping to get a sweet treat from the food court but that did not happen. This place looks like it is falling apart. There was a cinnabon in there but the rolls looked like they had been baked that morning and left out all day. I wouldn't even purchase a drink from here. The good thing is, if you know what you're coming for you should be in and out because only a handful of people were in there. read more

How this mall still exists befuddles me. It has a very limited selection of stores and a rundown look. The mall was clean enough, but seemed to be deteriorating. If there is a store you like there it should be an easy in and out since it is not usually crowded. However you are likely going to need to stop elsewhere to find what you want. The service in many of the stores here is also lacking. I highly recommend heading to Towson or Columbia instead! read more

Eastpoint Mall - It's not in Arundel Mills - Shopping Centers Near Me - Baltimore, Maryland

I had never been here before, but ordered a purse and a few pairs of jeans to be picked up here instead of at home because of the Holidays and theft. The first impression I had when I drove up was it was a run down mall. Kind of sketchy looking area, and it kinda made me laugh. The inside of the mall is ok. A lot of stores were closed, and I am not familiar enough with the area to know if it up and coming....or just hood. I won't be back here unless I pick up something that has been ordered online. This is the most pathetic mall ever! Seriously don't waste your time coming to this horrible mall. Half of the mall doesn't even have stores. There are more empty rooms then occupied rooms. They need to give up and shut this mall down. Pretty dead mall. Though they lack in stores and big crowds there are selections of popular stores. There is stuff for everyone in the family. Go here to get your crap if you don't want to bother with the big crowds that frequent other malls. I love their sports store that features Ravens and Orioles memorabilia so much to chose from. Yea it's ghetto, but when I'm too lazy to drive 15 minutes up 95 to White Marsh or Towson I'm at Eastpoint. The two anchor stores, JCPenny and Sears are usually my stops and occasionally foot locker and of course I cant walk by Aunt Annie's with out getting a pretzel dog. Not a huge selection of stores with vacancies rampant as the economy has taken it's toll on businesses,but it gets the job done. With Burlington's appearance and a few new shops things seem to be swinging in a better direction. They have updated the bathrooms and some interior work but need some serious exterior work as well. The managers of the mall will not allowed to have people with a service dog in the mall. The mall is going to be up for sale soon and stores are closing left and right. If you eat at the food court then get ready to become sick. Fights break out for no reason what so ever and the customer service is crap. Another Mall which has slipped into decay due mainly to the push of low income families from Baltimore city into the suburban neighborhoods. This mall was on a downhill slide even before the economic downturn. Without it's national anchor stores, JC Penney and Sears, it would suffer the same fate as the former Golden Ring Mall. Only local folks with limited transportation shop here, most others opt for White Marsh or Towson Town Center. read more

Not a bad place but very depressing, the Economy is going down and you can see most of the stores shutting down slowly within the mall, sales people looking depressed and the building mildly empty when I went, it's so so, you can get some food there with the usual chain type joints, or buy stuff but me personally I'm not materialistic so I don't just randomly buy things unless I need them, went for tools. Anyway people are not too bad there depending on the hours you go, but it's urban decay to a point now and has a slightly gloomy vibe if you go certain hours. read more

Worst, most disgusting, trashy mall. The employees are rude. There are hardly any stores. The food court is only good to get a soda from seeing as you gave all of 3 places to choose from. What happened to this place? This is not the East Point Mall that I remember spending countless weekend nights at growing up. This place is gross. This is definitely a convenience mall and I doubt it would even be around if it weren't for the main stores JCPenney and Sears. It's looks and smells like an indoor flea market and what's with wino's hanging around outside? The stores are random and there's a lot of junk being sold. I've never seen a mall that looked this abandoned. The inside is actually in decent condition (it looks like a total dump from the outside) but large numbers of store fronts are empty and a good chunk of the ones that're there aren't open on Sunday. I needed to kill an hour while I waited on an oil change and there wasn't much to browse through. The closed down bowling alley out in the parking lot looks slightly post-apocalyptic. read more

Used to be a very good mall- f.y.e, K.B. Toys, Chic-Fil-A. I heard there used to be a Build-a-Bear here as well. Now, there are lots of empty stores. The only places I reallty go to are Game Stop, JCPenny, and Bath and Body Works. There are too many jewelry places that keep coming and leaving. The rent is too high for businesses to even stay here long or even come in the first place. The only food places I go to currently are Auntie Annes and Subway, and used to go to the Japan place a lot. The arcade is shockingly still there. The food court isn't the cleanest either. Well now into the mid 2017 year Eastpoint Mall has gotten better. There are great places shop, eat and snack [Applebees. Aunt Anne's Prezles. Cinnabon. JC Pennies. Sears. Staples. Bath and Body Works.....] Just across the street [Eastern Ave] is a great movie theater with electronic reclining seats, how cool is that ! read more

If you are a shopaholic like me this is one of the shopping malls on the east side of Baltimore you wanna go. They always have great sales and a okay choice of spots to eat in the food court.At the bottom level of the mall has a great laser tag/ video game for all ages. Eastpoint Mall is just okay. Its a mall of convenience. I can get in and get out without it being to many people to get in my way. I just wish they had more stores to choose from. I mainly come here to go to JCPenney and DSW shoes. They have the best sales. read more

I only visit JcPenney but this mall could use a few more stores of quality. I've seen people bashing this place because of the location but all people deserve a good mall with quality stores and food. Once in a while I might need to pick something up from the Gamestop or the sneaker place but other than that, all the stores seem to be at the White Marsh Mall. I'm an online shopper because of it. I really don't like driving to White Marsh these days. Hopefully in the future someone will see the value in valuing Eastpoint Mall because it could be better. read more

I Love Gabes, Unfortounally my trip with my daughter was not so pleasant. I took her here to get a new swimsuit and she found one. I didn't make her try it on at the store I should have, well when we got home she was excited to try it on. She came to me crying saying something was in the swim suite bottoms and I could not believe what I was looking at blood that had dried up under the plastic cover that had been secure on well. I do not know how they managed that but I nor the cashier notice it at the store and then they put peroxide on it to try to clean it out. I was so pissed my husband told me to call the store because we live a good distance from Essex. I decided to take her to another store and return the items STORE #510 in Parkville the manger was very nice and was disgusted at what she was looking at and she told me she called the store to let them know what happen very disappointing. Honestly Eastpoint has never has never been a top tier mall even in it's heyday, I believe it's Dundalk/ Essex location has a lot to do with it. Honestly I believe that mall has a future if more national tenants move in. It's right outside of the city in a basically safe neighborhood and has highway access via 95 and 695, The people that live in the area only shop there because it is right there in there face, kinda like the 7-11 or Royal Farms on the corner. It is a diamond in the rough it just needs a little work look at Mondawmin and how well it's doing in the middle of the hood, all Eastpoint need is a little investment to reach it's potentional. read more

I am dissapointed that I have to give this mall even 1/5 stars. Out of 10 for excitment and customer service, this mall is a 0.00 of out 10. If you like hearing crackheads yelling at their children to shut the f*** up then this is the mall for you! Two major things a mall needs to be successful: 1) Quality stores: East point looks like an indoor garage sale. Their only decent store is GNC. I went to a watch kiosk to look for a Movado and the jerk who worked there did not look at me in the face, and just mumbled some garbage I couldnt understand. 2) Customer Service: Everyone was either bugging me to buy something or ignoring me because they were lazy and in a bad mood. Not that great of a mall. They do have a few good stores but you won't find the kind of crowd you see in other popular malls. Many of the stores are closed. There aren't many people in the food court either and the mall overall looks pretty much deserted. read more

I love this place. It was recently bought by another owner so it's getting better and more stores to be added. This mall has been around since the world war for the veterans to go and relax in and has changed a lot since then. Has a movie theater and restaurants nearby too. read more

I've been going to this mall since I was kid. I remember when they had the best arcade, kings court, a long with other things. It's sad how this mall continues to go down hill..a lot of the stores that were decent moved out.. Now, I just come here to run some errands or to get something really small... It's pretty much a ghost town except for on Christmas Eve. It's ghetto. read more

Eastpoint is not Towson Town Center, and it's never going to be Towson Town Center. Different part of town, different crowd -- and that's fine. It's seen better days; it's lost some tenants and could use a remodel. But it's no Security Square or Owings Mills either. read more
