This mall is still viable and family friendly. Parking is hard for those needing disability parking as its not many spots close. I enjoyed the day eventhough the escalators in the mall seemed to be out of service moving folks to department stores to go up or down.

If you get there early enough you can grab a bite to eat and use the restaurant seating. There's an area in front of the stage for dancing and believe me it's used. It's so much fun being with your family and friends enjoying good music. The vibes are electric! This is a non smoking and alcohol event. There are 2 more concerts left and then I will feel like my summer is coming to an end:(

They now have a Rock& Toss crab house, Sake Japanese steakhouse, Cava, and Nalley Fresh. A Mama's on the Halfshell is coming soon. I came on this occasion to enjoy the live music with my family. It so nice to have a free outdoor activity to entertain everyone. I had a great time. On this occasion I got some Missikn BBQ. I enjoyed out in the little avenue area they have roped off. They no longer allow and consumption of alcoholic outside so you will have to enjoy that at one of the few locations nearby before coming out to see the music. Smoking is not allowed but there are always a few violators. I saw plenty of security monitoring the area and they will remind people this is an alcohol and smoke free event. I had a great time and will come back as long as the weather cooperates.

Every experience I have had here has been warm and welcoming. There's a large selection of stores, and they also seem to host a market here on weekends with some more local vendors! For the holidays, they have a cute Christmas setup and a meet Santa station. I also feel everything I've bought here has been fairly priced. I just got some Christmas presents for my mom, including locally made pottery for less than I usually see on Etsy. The food options here are great, and it's a cozy spot for families and couples! Every time I come, I tell myself I'm going to come back more frequently. Just visit. You'll find something you like!

Parking is plentiful, but no matter where you park, you'll be walking, because the place is extensive. There are some accessible elevators and elevators, but beware, they're typically out of order at any given time. You'll also find great deals here if you take your time and search, and can find some really great items. The food court, however, is seriously lacking in choices. Im actually quite surprised! But there also a lot of dessert and specialty shops that compete with the eateries in the food court, but I don't think that's an excuse. So after all that shopping, don't place your heart on good sit down eating at the outlets. Service typically depends on the store, but I do feel like this place has a bit of racial discrimination and bias. Like there is an uneasiness among everyone, and some people excessively watch people of color, especially if you're shopping alone. They're not as "brave" if you're with a group of 2 or more ppl. But Ive never experienced or witnessed any overt hatred or aggressive behavior. So it's not like these outlets are unsafe. Overall, I recommend..and it's located nearly off the highway.

Watching the growth here at Metro Center has been amazing. It's a great asset have the condos, library, garage, hotel, restaurants, activities, and outdoor events here. New stores have opened this year and others are coming soon. The center's sidewalks are lined with planters full of brightly colored flowers making it quite attractive. There is a small patio area between two of the stores with artificial grass providing some greenery. Replacing the a grocery store that relocated years ago is Sprouts, which features many organic and plant based foods. It has departments with produce, bakery items, a deli, meat and seafood, prepared meals to go, frozen foods, and pantry items. It also carries frozen crab cakes and a frozen pizza brand that were both rated "the best" in separate reviews. The crab cakes are Sprouts' own brand and the pizza is one I haven't found anywhere else. Much to my surprise a review of grocery stores rated Sprouts as number one. Also open in the shopping center are a new TJ Maxx, Ulta, and Moby Dick Kabobs. Planned businesses include a Domain Fitness, an Eggspectation restaurant. and a bank, among others. Burtonsville Crossing is located right off Columbia Pike and there is plenty of parking. I'm happy to see the area thriving again.
