Ridiculous.
Requested 90 day refill, provided credit card number and told them I'd pay the entire amount. They sent a 30 day refill to wrong address. Said insurance would not approve more than 30 days at a time. So now I'm out of country, traveling, and out of my meds.
Who cares about insurance, I'm their customer and willing to pay. Whether and when I get reimbursed is my business, between me and my medical insurance. My doctor and my pharmacy need to do what I, not my insurance, tell them to do.
I go to my doctor for medical opinions and my pharmacy for prescription fulfillment. They all work for me, thank you very much.
My insurance is for when I have something catastrophic happen.
I don't need my doctor, my pharmacy (or my financial advisor) taking ANY guidance from my medical insurance company.
What a joke.
I would have been better off if I'd told them I have no insurance. read more
