Only one person working at 5:30pm on a Saturday. The girl gave me a pager and I sat down and waited. And waited. And waited. She helped several other patrons. I wanted to know if my sandwich was being made so I walked up to the counter and noticed she was making my cold deli sandwich with her bare hands. She was taking stacks of ready to eat deli meats and cheeses out of plastic bins and peeling each piece of meat with no gloves, placing on bread and then adding the lettuce and tomato and mayo. I do not believe she washed her hands between taking my cash and helping the other customers. It took 25 minutes to get the sandwich, all while my husband already had finished his food from another restaurant. I used to work for a health department in the food safety department, so this disgusted me. My pager went off and I walked up to get my sandwich. I did not say anything, I should have, but I am a very non-confrontational person. I will call the Sumter County Health Department on Monday. I did not eat the sandwich.

In terms of beef this shop has select, prime, and certified wagyu options. I found my birthday steak but with lots of stops throughout our day. They held it for our family until Wednesday when we were back in the area! Everything is vacuum sealed and can last 30 days refrigerated.
