It's all very colorful and fun. There's also a splash pad with multiple water features, and it's located in a nice shady spot with benches all around. Shade! Around a splash pad! This seems to be a rare thing nowadays, but yes, there is shade here. As a parent, that's probably what I like this park: There is always somewhere shady to sit or stand. This park also had a gigantic roofed overhand area with benches for big parties. When we visited, there was a church party going on. There is also a little rain garden on the outer edge of the park, which was a welcome sight. I love when parks make the effort to incorporate native plants into their park spaces. It doesn't go unnoticed, and it's greatly appreciated! Potawatomi Park is directly outside of Potawatomi Zoo. The two share a parking lot, so it might be a drag to find parking on busy days.

This is a very nice course that used to be private. It has some very pretty holes and is nicely…read morelandscaped. Some greens have lots of undulations and character. It is a nice course to walk as the distance from greens to tees is pretty small. My biggest complaint about the course is that there are some spots where you feel like you are in between 3-5 tees and greens. I tend to prefer courses where you cannot see other holes while you are playing the course. The prices are very reasonable and I always feel that my money was well spent after playing Marywood. Walking up to the club house the grounds keeper turned the mower in my direction by the parking lot and I took a rock to the face. Guy on the mower just looked, no wave, no apology. Walk in and ask the lady about mowers not having a guard on them after telling her a rock was sent from the mower and hit me in the face and her reply was, "it's a zero turn. Shit happens" then she gets an attitude with me. "You seem upset, so just go get a cart and play". WTF? I won't be back this season. Only reason for the 4 is the course. Staff get 0
