My Eiffel Tower tour was an unforgettable experience! Going all the way to the summit was absolutely worth it--the panoramic views of Paris were breathtaking and something I'll never forget. A big part of what made the tour so special was our guide, Emille. She was incredibly knowledgeable and shared fascinating anecdotes about the history of the Eiffel Tower, its construction, and the surrounding area. Her stories brought everything to life and made the experience so much more engaging than simply admiring the views. The tour was well-organized, informative, and gave us plenty of time to enjoy each level before reaching the top. If you're visiting Paris, I highly recommend this tour--and if you're lucky enough to have Emille as your guide, you're in for a real treat! read more

We purchased a tour of Norte Dame on March 21st through Get Your Guide led by History Group. we were at the designated location (Charlemagne statue) 20 minutes before tour time. no guide ever showed up. we tried contacting tour operator per instruction but no one answered the phone. Get Your Guide customer service also tried to contact them but could not. we ended up standing in line to enter for 30+ minutes. Beware. read more

If I could give this company HISTORY GROUP a minus 10, I would. I arrived three minutes late due to Paris Traffic and diplomats holding up traffic all over Paris due to a political assembly. When I arrived the tour group was still there, so I ran to the guide and told him we just arrived, he said, you are late and did not allow us to go. This was the worst customer service I have ever received . When I reached out to customer service, they told me I was three minutes late and that's their policy, if you arrive late you don't go. However it does not state that anywhere. I have tried to get my money back, but to not avail. They will not return my $150 euros. Crazy how this company can have such horrible customer service and they keep my money. DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY CALLED HISTORY GROUP! And Viator (trip advisor) should drop them. Btw, Viator was no help what so ever. Run! Don't walk, run away from this company called History Group! They have other trips, but my recommendation to to stay away from History Group! DO NOT TAKE ANY TRIPS WITH HISTORY GROUP! read more

By the time I decided which day I wanted to visit the Eiffel Tower, the tickets through the Tower's website were sold out. I decided to purchase the tickets through Get Your Guide; which ended up connecting me with History Group. I bought tickets that would get us to the summit. We arrived at the office as instructed (15 minutes before the designated time). The woman at the counter checked us in and gave us stickers to adhere to our clothes so that the tour lead, Santiago, could see who all were part of the group. Be advised there are no restrooms at the office. While there are restrooms at the Eiffel Tower, you won't be able to get to one until you reach the second floor. My advice to you is to use a restroom beforehand. Santiago explained to the group what to expect. He said we would go through a couple of security checkpoints and would need to show our tickets a couple of times. He told us he would stay with us until we reached the second floor and then we would be on our own to explore the tower. The wait for the elevator to the second floor took the most time, but it was not a very long wait. I'm not sure if the journey to the second floor would have been as fast had I been able to buy the tickets directly from the tower and navigated my way up. All in all my experience with the History Group was a good one. No complaints. read more

Had the same bad experience as others described here. I normally only write positive reviews if something is particularly good, but this experience was bad so I want to put my experience out here for people to decide for themselves. I have been to the Eiffel Tower quite a few times (not tour) previously, but this time for some reason I booked it via Viator and The History Group was the company the booking was linked to. They ask you to go to their office (5-10 mins walk from the Eiffel Tower) far in advance. It was complete and utter waste of time. You have to arrive early to queue up just to collect tickets and then wait and wait for the tour guide to show up. The tour guide we had just chatted to a couple of people standing in front, and tried to tell us about the Eiffel Tower, but we couldn't hear any of it and she didn't try to engage with us. It really is pointless and a painful process to go through them. My personal advice is just book with the Eiffel Tower website directly like we did before or research which company does it better. When we were up in the Eiffel Tower, we did see other tour guides so perhaps other companies do a better job. If I could give it zero stars or negative points I would. read more

Awful. Avoid. Showed up a few minutes late and no trip no refund. The Lady who owns the place just shrugged her shoulders. No refund no trip for the kids up the tower. Very French and a rip off. read more

I don't normally write reviews unless they are positive reviews if something was particularly good, but this experience was so bad that I want to put my experience out here for people to decide for themselves. This was my first time visiting Paris, as well as France as a country. My friend and I had tickets for VIP to top of the Eiffel Tower. We bought our tickets on Get your Guide. Our tickets told us to be at the history group office at 4:15pm. We arrived to find a very long line outside the building with only one person working at that time. We arrived at 4:09pm and by the time we made it to the front of the line it was 4:19pm. The lady at the front desk named Sarah (that we found out later on) looked at our tickets and yelled at us saying "4:15!". We explained that we were on time, and she said "you missed it because you were supposed to be here 15 minutes early". We told her that no where on the ticket we purchased from Get your Guide said that we needed to be there 15 minutes early. She rolled her eyes at us after we explained this and said "I don't care." I calmly said to her that this was not an issue with us and she needs to speak with the company that is selling their tour tickets. She continued to scream at us to go sit out of the way and wait until she can see if she can fit us in another time for the day. After about 30 minutes a few more workers came in to help with the long line. After the line was gone, Sarah completely ignored us and continued to have personal conversations with her colleagues. I went up to speak with one of the ladies behind the counter. This is where it gets ridiculous and really out of control. I explained our situation to another woman (leaving out the rude part) , and Sarah screamed at me again saying "You have had a bad attitude the entire time. I'm tired of talking to you. If you want to join another tour it's going to be 50euros more for me to go!" I told her this is not our fault and we want to speak with a manager/supervisor if she cast help us. I told her I was not going to pay extra money for something that is not my fault and she responded with "well now you don't have the option to pay extra to go to the top of the Eiffel Tower and you need to leave". My friend and I said "ok" knowing we weren't getting anywhere with this conversation and I was missing out on the top of the Eiffel Tower. I asked for her name and she refused to give me her name so I took a picture of her. She proceeded to chase me around the front desk and wouldn't let me leave. Held me hostage essentially. Then when I tried to go under her arm SHE GRABBED MY NECK AND THEN MY PHONE. I pulled away to get her hand off my neck and she told me I had to delete the photo. I have never had such an experience before, Such violence and hostility from this Sarah lady. We left because I did not want to be around this volatile and violent woman. My friend called after we left to speak to a manager or supervisor. This is how we found her name out because she answered the phone. She proceeded to tell my friend that she was the manager and that "she saw everything that happened and it was justified". I have never experienced anything of the sort and I hope to never experience it again. This lady appears to be dangerous and not mentally stable. To grab a customers neck after holding her hostage for no reason is unbelievable. I highly recommend to not work with this company. Attached is a photo of who committed assault on me. read more

My guide was Jaure (I can't read her writing) She was excellent, very knowledgable and took great care of everyone in the group to be sure we all were with her and aware of the tour route etc!! Great sense of humour and she spoke serveral languages. Thank you for the tour of the Eiffel Tower...it was cold and windy but you made it worthwhile. Dawn S. read more

Just a quick note to say I had a great time on your tour of the Eiffel Tower on Friday, August 19th. Salima was our guide and she was great! I especially enjoyed her knowledge and history of the Eiffel Tower and all my conversations with her. She was very enthusiastic and the time we spent on the tour really made my day! I am so happy you have Salima as part of your Eiffel Tower team. She is a high caliber individual that adds value to the company and look forward to future tours with the History Group! My family and I had a wonderful experience taking the Eiffel Tower Summit Tour on July 6, 2023. Eiffel was booked up during our visit so we found this company on Viator. We showed up about 5 minutes early for our 11am departure, and there was no line to check in. I didn't count our group, but I think it was about 10-12. We did leave right on time so I'm glad we weren't late. Jean-Baptiste was our guide and he was wonderfully welcoming, enthusiastic and friendly. He said he had started about a month ago. He got us through the various lines and checkpoints always giving us a heads up on what to expect and it was a breeze. He told us about the history of the Tower and some fun facts and then left us when we entered the elevator to go up. We were able to explore and make our way down on our own which suited us just fine. I would definitely recommend! read more

We were led on a tour of the Eiffel Tower by Maisa on Saturday, May 8. We had a great time. Maisa was wonderful. She was knowledgeable and entertaining. Avoid this company. They cancelled my Eiffel Ticket Skip the Line tour TWICE with no explanation. The second time was the night before, conveniently after business hours. They could not explain why they cancelled and could not offer me a ticket to join my family. They said Viator canceled until I showed them the email indicating they cancelled. Reviews on TripAdvisor show the same pattern. As I was waiting at ground level (while the family enjoyed their visit), several History Group tour guides ran their groups past me. Many people were struggling to keep up. read more

Bought the Eiffel Tower tour tickets from them and was told to be here 30 min before start time which was 8:30 am. It is now 9 am and we have been sitting out here in the cold for an hour. There is no one here, the office is still closed and the number to call goes to an automated service in French. Worst experience ever. Would give them zero stars if I could. Update : They never showed up. Ended up coming to the tower by our selves. Hope we can get a refund. read more

Read your ticket carefully! The meeting place for Eiffel Tower tour is nowhere near the Eiffel Tower. After going through lines at security, we had to exit and run downtown to the meeting place only to be 5 minutes late. They then charged us 20 euro to change to a tour an hour later. Mind you, I only booked 1/2 hour before online. Frustrating. The waiting room was hotter than hell and had no restroom. Very frustrated and I haven't even left yet. read more

Hemos sido muy bien atendidos por Maisa, una gran profesional con conocimiento de la visita. Gracias por todo.

These guys are awesome and the prices are great! We did all of our tours through them. The staff is very accommodating and they go above and beyond. We went to Disney and majority of the rides were closed and it was too hot so we asked if they could arrange transport to come back early. Now here's the cool part - the person who coordinated the change was off that day. She took care of it on her personal time on her day off of work. Now that's service !! We did the Eiffel Tower tour with them and their staffs knowledge was amazing. Small things you can't find online read more

We did the Eiffel Tower tour and truly enjoyed our experience. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Having a guide also reduced the time to enter the tower from 3 hours to 20 minutes or so. My only complaint is that the tour office does not have restrooms, but the Eiffel Tower has excellent facilities to give you an "above-Paris" restroom experience. read more

Very good agency, and very accommodating we where a little late but with them it was no problem. Friendly tour guide. Highly recommend it.

SCAM! I usually don't review but I have to warn other tourists about this company. I booked an Eiffel tower skip the line summit access and a bus tour for my family on Expedia. Our tour was booked to start at 2:45 PM. We arrived inside the office and started talking to the front desk exactly at 2:42 PM (our first time in Paris not knowing how bad traffic was). I was very surprised though when the front desk informed me that I was LATE and I hade to pay a rescheduling fee for the next tour (75 Euros for two adults and one child). No refund for my already booked tickets ($279). I am sure other companies would waive the rescheduling fee. (BTW, the company replied to my review and falsely and dishonestly accused me for arriving at 2:50 PM and I feel they do this to everyone else. Read other negative reviews and BEWARE of their scam). I was aware that the company, just like other tour companies, kindly request checking in at least 15 minutes ahead but there was no indication anywhere on voucher that was an absolute cutting line and that I would lose my ticket if I didn't check in 15 minutes early. We travelled around Europe and booked many tours in which they ask tourists to check in 15 and 30 minutes early and where other tourists came few minutes late before the tour starts without any problem. Only this company keeps your money and asks you to reschedule for a fee. This makes me believe this company is exploiting tourists. My suggestion for tourists is not booking with them, or maybe show up an hour early if you have lots of time. My suggestion for the company is to make it clear to customers that not checking in 15 minutes early actually means the tour is cancelled with no refund or even better inform customers they MUST show up 30 minutes early. I also have to mention that we got on the tour bus, we were surprised that the attraction stations were limited to 4 instead of 12 since it was the end of day. No one told us anything about that. Other than that our tour guide Yazid was extremely helpful, very knowledgeable, and playful with our kid. At some point our daughter asked to take a photo with him. He speaks many languages and I wish I would give him 5 star! read more

My wife and I booked two Eiffel Tower skip-the-line tours. The first one, during the day went off without a hitch. I can't begin to imagine how long people were waiting in the standard line, but we were in the elevators in no time. The second tour, this time in the evening to the summit, almost didn't happen. The tour operator couldn't find our reservation. Apparently our booking was corrupted in the computer - our tickets had one date, but the reservation was for the month prior. They were able to make things work and my wife got to celebrate her birthday on the summit of the Eiffel Tower. The guides were friendly and knowledgeable. read more

Do NOT waste your money. This company is the worst! We arrived at their office an hour early for our Eiffel Tower tour and were advised to wait, no other information was given. There were some places to sit and vending machines to purchase overpriced water, but to use the restroom you had to take a 10% off coupon to their souvenir shop down the road. We ended up buying some Paris shot glasses. When the tour finally started about 10 minutes late, the guide was seemly trying to make up time and rushed to give us all the info, including the fact that no glass is allowed in the Eiffel Tower. We could, however, PAY to store the glasses we just purchased or other restricted items. Unbelievable since they could have told us that before we bought their souvenir shot glasses or they could offer to store for free as part of the tour benefit. We had to rush to store our stuff even though we had been an hour early while the tour guide took off without us. We were barely able to catch back up to the group at the entrance. It was not a fast pass entrance and we waited in line like anyone else with a ticket. He did give some brief history of the Eiffel Tower once we got to the top. When we went back to the office to get our stuff, they had closed early! We had to pound on the door and luckily a janitor who didn't speak English was there to call the owner and get our stuff for us. Don't fall for this place, total rip off since you are paying extra for nothing! They were so rude to top it all off. You're better off with regular entrance on your own or find another company who cares about their customers instead of just taking your money. read more

If I could give -5 stars I would. They sold me museum pass tickets online, then after traveling across the city to pick them up because the Louvre said mobile is NOT accepted, they informed me they had given all the passes away already and I could come back in 2 days for new ones. They then said to go to their website to email for a refund. Ok, well there is NO email address or phone number. Instead it touts 24/7 customer service and it is nowhere to be found. I emailed their office directly after this (having asked for their business card) asking for a refund and no one ever responded. I had to dispute the transaction. Absolute garbage. I will fight to make sure this doesn't happen to any other tourists!! Avoid them at all costs. read more

Scam alert! We purchased skip the line tickets to the Louvre with this company through Viator. We were required to pick up our vouchers at 38 Avenue de la Bourdonnais. We arrived as required. When we got there, we were told that they could not honor the vouchers for reasons related to the protests from earlier in the month. We were told that we would be issued a full refund through Viator. That really didn't make sense to us but we went along. Instead, they sold us a similar product and they said they were giving us a big discount for our inconvenience. I then called Viator From their store and spent 30 minutes on the phone trying to get a refund. I eventually try to hand the phone to the woman who told us they could not honor our vouchers and she said that she could only talk to them through email and that once they received an email they will explain the situation and we would get a refund. Well, Viator just Sent an email saying that this company told them we never showed up to pick up our vouchers. I have now been arguing with Viator for hours trying to get my refund. The company is apparently now saying that we showed up asking for a refund and trying to buy a different product. This place is a total fraud. Stay away! Especially stay away from a woman named Blanche, who was the person we were dealing with. Aside from our horrible experience, the place was a total fiasco, Everyone there seem to be having a miserable experience. Deal with this company at your own risk. read more
