I have been to his office several times. In all honesty, I cannot recommend. Initially, I went…read morefor the bottom half of a tooth broke off. The tooth had to be extracted, and I was in pain over a week. I was advised to replace bridge I had would cost a certain amount, I felt the price was too high. So, while he was addressing one issue, I asked if the price could be lower. He went back and forth what would be needed. He kept bragging how he was the best dentist. Finally, when he realized I would not go for price he stated. He stated he could do nothing. At my last visit for teeth cleaning, a different person than the one I had been accustomed to did my cleaning. This woman did not explain things well, was extremely rough, and never gave me a breather. She started to floss my teeth, and I had to stop. When I went to the receptionist, I was very angry. I was not going to say anything. Then, this totally unprofessional woman goes to the receptionist and says she (meaning me) just got up and left. At that point, I got mad and stated why I was so angry. Woman then says that she was cleaning my teeth (that justified her extreme roughness) and at that point I lost it. She then says why didn't you say anything-I just looked at her (how can someone say something when something is in their mouth). Then, she and the receptionist go running to the dentist like two idiot children. At that point, I left. Finally, I cannot comprehend how this dentist was ever rated number one.

He is great for emergency visits, very accommodating, again, the patient's comfort is first. The office is clean and neat. All staff are professionally presentable; you won't about the hygiene in this office. His apt. scheduling is flexible, if you can not get the EXACT time or day, it will be as close as possible, but in 3 years, I always got the time slot I feel comfortable in.

He had an issue that prevented him from continuing and the place was sold to Advance Dental. The office is now run by a bunch of rude people and a dentist who is rude and incompetent. She talked me into having a partial denture made for my upper teeth, which I did not want. After three visits she talked me into letting her make me a partial. When the partial came in it did not even fit in my mouth. She then proceeded to grind it down to fit in my mouth. The denture was loose and had a metal wire which sat on the space between the bottom of 2 of my upper teeth with a hook that went across the bottom of an upper tooth. Whenever I bit into something, the whole denture popped loose and the wire sent a sharp pain up through both teeth it was splitting. When I told her it did not fit well and I was unhappy I was told "I built it and got paid for it and now you are stuck with it." On most recent visit I was told I needed a root canal. When I showed up for a root canal I was told I needed to have it extracted instead and another denture made. When I went back to ask why no root canal I was told, "we do not have the equiptment to do a root canal here". I asked for a referal and was told I had to figure it out for myself. THis is by far the worst dentist office I have ever been to. Forgot to mention that the exame room was filthy. There was dried crud on arm that held table and equiptment looked as if not cleaned in months. Avoid this place at all costs. It is just aweful. If zero stars was an option I would of gave them a zero.

I went here for years and years, even going so far as to pay a higher premium for dental insurance…read morethrough my employer so that I would be covered to see this provider since he was not listed on the cheaper plan. The office staff and hygienists are very nice, and professional, and honestly, they are the people you are likely to be dealing with the most unless you have serious dental issues. Then at one of my twice-yearly cleanings, a different dentist came in and did the final check after my cleaning. When I asked who the new doctor was, I got a vague explanation about taking on a partner, or selling the practice, or something of that nature. When I asked if Dr. Ditomassi was still practicing there, I was told yes, although I never saw him again after that. Last year, I broke a tooth and had to get a crown. The new dentist took the mold and performed the procedure. First of all, it took almost a month to get the final mold from the lab, so I had a temporary crown that whole time, which is not fun. Secondly, I have had trouble with the crown ever since. It scrapes my cheek, and my tongue, and seeing as it is the rear-most molar, I wish that rather than spending $1000 on a crown, I would have just had it yanked out. As far as I am concerned, this is not the same practice that I used for so long, and I am now looking for a new dentist. I think patients have the right to be informed if their care is going to be handed off to someone new rather than just having it sprung upon them. If I had been given the choice to only come into the office when Dr. Ditomassi was there, I would have - but I wasn't.
