When my first kid was still under one, they helped us figure out a way to take his photo at home (dozens of photos on a white blanket), and then they were able to select the one that fit strict criteria, crop it and smooth out the background for us before printing. I would say one thing to be aware of is that they are not always open right when the posted hours claim. I would call first before heading over.
