I can't thank Larissa and 80Twenty enough; I found a job because of them. I feel very blessed. I found myself unemployed right before COVID 19, and as a designer, this was not good news as I had to get my portfolio, resume together, and start looking for work again. COVID just made the process more difficult, and I sent numerous resumes to companies to just never hear back from anyone, I was feeling hopeless. Until Larissa. When Larrisa contacted me on Linkedin, our journey began. She listened to me during my interview and understood who I was, what I was looking for, and the type of company and role I wanted. The company she introduced me to, it was such a perfect match for both myself and the company. Even the people at this company spoke highly of her as she was able to match the right candidates to their needs. Out of all the recruiters I have met during this time, Larissa stood out, she listened, genuinely cared and kept in touch with me during the process. I had a highly positive experience today working directly with Sam Cardenas. In my experience with recruiters, particularly those from third-party agencies, there is often a rush to process candidates quickly. However, Sam distinguished herself by taking the time to thoroughly understand my background. She asked detailed questions about my interests, my envisioned career path, and my long-term objectives. Moreover, she clarified that while she would submit me for this specific role, she would also consider me for other opportunities that might be a suitable match. The interaction felt far from transactional; it resembled a discussion with a career coach regarding both short-term and long-term goals. I have only positive feedback regarding Sam and her team. Although she cannot guarantee a job offer, her dedication to preparing me for the next steps and her belief in my fit for the role reflect highly on her and the team at 80Twenty. read more

5/5 I was recently contacted by Taylor Holtemann, Senior Recruiter at 80Twenty, about a job opportunity -- and the entire experience was fantastic from start to finish. I could not recommend Casey Splain and the 80Twenty team more. Throughout discussing, interviewing, and settling into my new position, Casey and team were there to guide and motivate me. They completely alleviated the stress and pressure of applying relentlessly to roles during a dry hiring period, in which I could've easily felt hopeless. But not with them. I am a non-traditional employee with experience across multiple roles and departments in multiple industries so it is not always easy for recruiters to immediately know where I fit in within traditional corporate structures. Jaclyn is an excellent recruiter who sees beyond the resume, taking the time to get to know her recruits. Jaclyn always remembers to pass opportunities my way that are aligned with my skills and career goals. She is a solid communicator, supports her candidates, and supports the companies she works with to find long-lasting mutually beneficial relationships. We have worked together for over a year and I am sure we will continue our relationship long into the future! I came across 80Twenty when looking for full-time Copywriting gigs. I worked with Amelia, who is by far the most responsive, resourceful, proactive, and present recruiter I have come to know. In great detail, she would walk me through what to expect, providing insightful and very useful and pertinent information about the job description, work environment, cultures, and offer details. Throughout the whole process, from screening to interviewing to negotiation and eventually and luckily signing, she would kindly check-in before and after interviews to make sure the process is going smoothly, prep, give tips, and to answer any questions. Her generosity and kindness were key. I cannot recommend her or 80Twenty more! I am very very thankful I worked with her. read more

I recently moved to the Bay Area from NYC and was looking for some work in my field (Graphic Design specifically in advertising). I worked directly with Rachel Stock, whom I have not a bad thing to say. Upon viewing my portfolio and resume, Rachel tossed me out to one of her clients, whom unfortunately chose to contract another designer. This is where things get good... Rachel kept my up to date with feedback, and as soon as being turned down, found another project I could be a good fit for. A day later, I was placed and am currently still working that position. This whole process took less than two weeks. Don't use Creative Circle, use 80 Twenty, you will get MUCH better results, with a much less stressful hiring process. read more

I had the chance to work with Taylor H. and I honestly could not have asked for a better experience. She figured out what would be a good fit so fast, and what blew me away was that she could already see the match between me and my new employer before I even met them. She was right. I am so excited about this role and I truly believe it would not have happened without her ability to see that fit early. She was supportive and encouraging the whole way through and checked in regularly so I never felt like I was going through it alone. Interviewing is stressful and she made it so much easier. I really hope I get to work with Taylor again at some point in my career. She's the kind of recruiter you don't forget. read more

I'm a freelance creative project manager in the Bay Area and just found 80Twenty during my current job hunt. The level of personal attention and genuine care from Annika Bryntse, Managing Director has been unprecedented. The employer to whom I was being presented happened to call off their search because they hired from within (which I applaud), so I didn't get this job. However, I have every confidence that Annika and her team at 80Twenty will continue to keep me in mind as new positions come around. I am very pleased with this initial experience and am excited to have formed this positive relationship. Highly recommended! read more
