My mom would take us to a liquor store that carried Hinkley's chocolate and white frosting donuts after church on Sundays. I think that is how she got us to agree to go to church, the donuts. Doughnuts here are very good. I love eating there doughnuts, it's the best part of Saturday morning. Last time I got some they were so good that I had a muscle spasm and dropped my phone screen first onto the hard wood floor. I thought I would post the hours( at least I hope that these are still the hours) since they are not typical. Out on us12 towards chelsea there's a little coffee 'shop' that sells their tasty treats, and gas stations all over town use them, and only them. I'm not usually a big donut fan, but I wanted to see what all the hype was about. OMG!! The cherry cake doughnut holes were so addictive that I ate 4 on the 2 mile drive back home. Priced right, crunchy on the outside, softer than a down pillow on the inside.they are known for there chocolate crescent, the frosting taste very similar to a fudge. Love this place since I moved from Detroit, I used to think there wasn't a bakery better the one on Mack/Alter Road my daughter used to buy us a baker dozen every chance we get.
