Brought our son and his finance here for dinner to celebrate their engagement. We ordered so much food, see my pictures, everything is so flavorful with some amazing spices. Servers and staff are attentive and friendly. The place is small and I would recommend reservations.

This clean, peaceful, friendly restaurant is a treat.we went for lunch and the white tablecloth and cloth napkins were an added touch. The servers are friendly and check back frequently. Many Vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options are available. The real star was the food which is beautifully spiced and attractively served. We had a shrimp curry with brown rice, naan and a lovely salad with delicious dressing , the sosa special was a compartmented tray with chicken, paratha, incredible spinach plus other goodies including a small serving of rice pudding. Parking was easy around the park and it was fun to explore some of the little shops nearby. T

Restaurant Week 2026 What an incredible value for Restaurant Week -- lunch for four for just $50! I truly hope they had an amazing week and gain tons of returning customers because Himalayan went above and beyond. The four of us had Wednesday noon reservations, and I'm so glad we did as nearly every table was full. We ordered the Restaurant Week pre-fixe menu for 4. We started with lentil soup. Light, flavorful, and with a wonderful texture. Next came the pakora appetizers (so tasty!) served with chutneys. Perfectly crispy without being greasy. Next was an unexpected gorgeous salad topped with fresh strawberries, dried cherries, and a bright mango dressing. The mains included: Chicken Tikka Masala Chana Muter Aloo Gobi (vegetable curry) Rice Plain naan Every bite was delicious. I'm a big fan of chana, so that was my personal "main," and it did not disappoint. The only small note -- there were maybe six pieces of chicken in the tikka masala, which didn't quite feel like enough for four. That said, it worked out fine for our group. We already love this place, and this experience was such a great reminder of why.

What a wonderful dinner I just had at Himalayan. Located right off the Town Square in Windsor, this Indian restaurant was warm and cozy on a chilly December night. At 4:30, when they open for dinner, a line had already formed to snag a table. The staff were very pleasant as they got everyone seated. The menu had a plethora of vegetarian and vegan dishes. For dinner, they start you off with a small cup of their lentil dal soup, which was much appreciated and a nice touch. I ordered the Aloo Gobi with brown rice (rice comes with each entree and no up charge for brown rice.) We also got garlic basil naan, which was a large portion for $5.99. Everything was amazing-very flavorful and well presented. It's been a while since I've had really good Indian food and Himalayan absolutely delivered on a wonderful meal. I'd definitely come again.

This place is great - tasty food and nice people! They start the meal with a lentil soup. We typically order the lamb shank biryani, so flavorful and such tender lamb! So delicious. We have also tried the pani puri, samosa chaat, tika masala, eggplant dish, saag paneer and garlic naan. Everything has been delicious but I wish their food is a little spicier! I don't handle spicy well but even their 4/5 level spice isn't very spicy.

Great service and food. Lamb vindaloo had just the right amount of spice. My friend had a seafood dish that they couldn't stop raving about! There were definitely no leftovers to take home because we finished everything!

Was in the area on a weeknight later in the evening and Himalayan was one of the only open restaurants. Just about everything was delicious. Ordered Garlic Naan, Gobi Manchurian, Fish Pakora, and Chicken Tikka Masala. The star of the show was the Lamb shank curry. Super tender, not gamey, and the curry itself had a lot of flavor. The staff was also very nice and attentive. If I ever find myself in the area I'll definitely be back!

FLAVORS and a VEGANS DELIGHT. Need I say more. This restaurant has been on my list to try for a very long time. Today was the day. My only regret, not eating here sooner. Their reviews are out of the world and now I know why. The secret is in the flavors. Everything we ordered was very pleasing. So fresh! So tasty! So happy! If you're vegan or Gluten free, you're in luck. You have choices. In fact, so many choices that the menu can be overwhelming because there are so many options. The hospitality is humbling. The culture is kind and really wish this restaurant was closer to me. Don't miss giving it a try.

This was a fun find for our trip to Napa/Sonoma and I'm so glad that we made the decision to have dinner here. Thankfully we made a reservation for our group of 6 and did not have to wait very long to be seated! Staff were all incredibly friendly and made us feel immediately at home and cozy. It was busy, boisterous and beautiful -- fun and traditional. Everyone loved their dishes and I appreciated the atmosphere, we'd definitely go back. The soup to start was SO GOOD and I was happy that I ended up ordering a bowl of it with my dinner while I tried bites of everyone's main dishes. Great flavor, great food, great people. 5/5.

Had dinner with group of four including a baby on valentines evening. They had valentines special on the menu but service was extremely slow and our requests and order were not met, including having to request for baby high chair three times. The food came out so slowly that we had to get more than half of our order to go. Enjoyed the lentil soup, and samosa, cheese naan, chicken vindaloo most. Momo, salad with crispy rice and avocado, garlic naan, and cinnamon naan were decent. Chicken tikka masala was okay, mixed kebab was okay- chicken was average, I'm not a huge fan of lamb, and salmon was tender. Overall, good food and good portion for the price. I understand it was a very busy evening, but I hope in the future they prepare ahead of time especially if they offer something like a valentines special on the menu because it felt like we spent two hours in the restaurant with less than half our food that came out during our dine in experience.

We enjoyed a delicious lunch here today. The lunch specials are an incredible deal. They include lentil dal soup, a salad, rice and a main dish. I appreciate being asked first what spice level you prefer- I'm a medium spicy and my lunch partner likes mild. The soup was so simple yet amazing. Their naan is quite fresh. I enjoyed the hot chai as well. Very pleasing and colorful decor. Service was kind but a touch on the slower side. Will absolutely return here.

The food was good. I have a gluten and dairy allergy. I ordered the mushroom pakora appetizer. Their lentil soup is amazing! I like when they bring the hand towel to wash your hands prior to eating. The server was great! I always enjoy eating there. I especially like their booths.

Yes we have air conditioning and heater inside?

I cannot answer this questions since we ate outside in one of most beautiful evenings.

Is this place have airconditioner indoor?

We ate outside on a gracious day so I do not know if the restaurant is air conditioned inside. I assume they are but call.

I see there are gluten-free appetizers, are there gluten-free entrees as well ? Thank you

The ambiance is casual, and the service was great to throw some tables together for our large group without advance notice. Our server was Heather, and she took great care of us the whole meal, which lasted almost three hours! Never a rush for a birthday party. For food, we always have our favorites here: the wedge salads (whole and half!) and, for appetizers, the Frickles, Kin wings, and calamari. We also had some other great dishes, such as the YBC burger (Certified Angus Beef patty, sharp cheddar, lettuce, tomato, onion, on a toasted brioche bun), the Dip (Thin sliced, slow-roasted top round, melted Grand Cru Gruyere cheese, smoked horseradish cream, toasted hoagie, garlic au jus), and a Michelangelo (two 4oz burger patties, American cheese, house aioli, house-made pickles, lemon pepper bacon and onion jam, crispy potato strings, lettuce, and tomato on a toasted brioche bun) - truly a masterpiece! I also grabbed two pizzas to take home: the Mac Daddy and the Smokehouse. Their mac n' cheese as an entree is great too, but not this visit! We tried some adult beverages as well, and the margaritas this visit were a disappointment - very bitter. The Mai Tais were amazing, by comparison, and soon several of us found a new beverage to enjoy. All the food was great, and the Frickles were well-fried and hot, but not greasy at all. The wedge salads are substantial, so a half for us is usually enough as an entree when taken with all the appetizers. And again, Heather was a great server for our needy group! Thank you! Looking forward to the next road trip to Windsor.

First of all, we went on a Monday night and the…read morereservations were fully booked, but we decided to try stopping in, which turned out to be smart, because they could seat us almost right away in the bar dining room, which was spacious and didn't feel like a bar area. They even accommodated my request not to be in sight of the TV. We were with my husband's cousin from Maui, an international traveler/diner, so he wanted to go all out, which meant we ordered the two specials - a dry aged porterhouse (T-bone) and a wagyu steak (not sure which cut), both medium rare. We got the bearnaise sauce and the green peppercorn sauce. I had one bite of each side or the t-bone, so NY and filet mignon, and two bites of the wagyu, which turned out to be my favorite. The reason I only had a those few bites of such exquisite, melt in your mouth meat was because of the irresistible courses we had leading up to it - wedge salad with tender diced bacon and pungent blue cheese dressing, potato skin fondue (like an elevated bacon nacho cheese dip), mussels in a flavorful broth that we sopped up with the addicting (on the house) bottomless basket of butter garlic parsley topped rolls (texture of Hawaiian rolls but not sweet). Then there was the scrumptious four cheese mac n cheese. I had to hold off on the giant onion rings (just ate the inside of one) to save room for the steak. We somehow also had drinks and dessert - I finished the first (which they made tart like I requested) and only tasted the last - a pineapple cheesecake, while my husband and his cousin demolished the rest along with creme brulee. Service was excellent and well timed. My husband's cousin said he hadn't expected the food to be so stellar, but that it even surpassed the swanky steakhouse we had gone to with him in SF on his last visit. We told him we weren't that surprised since we really like the other Stark restaurants we've been to, but this was the piece de la resistance. It was partly a celebration of our 25th anniversary coming up, so this feast was a blessing.

First off, they were so welcoming when we checked in. And I love that it's so pet friendly. Hostess that checked us in was a doll. The inside decor and the layout was so cute. One side is the hostess counter and right across from there is a waiting lounge area which I believe is also utilized for dining. Walking through, they have indoor seating to one side and the bar area to the opposite. Also dining available along the hi top bar counter. We had a big group which they had us set up on the patio. Another beautiful layout. It's like dining in a community garden slash secret garden. Our waitress who took care of us was amazing. So sweet and very friendly. Not just her but the entire staff there. Menu wise looked amazing. Also it was also a recommendation from one of the staff at a winery we were just at. Drink menu was quite huge too. Of course food was on our mind and it did not disappoint. Big group meant a lot of share plates to start off. A double of things ordered to start off. Daily crudo which was served with wonton chips. Fresh fish with all spices and marinaded. It was fresh and delicious. You gotta have oysters if it's available. Curry deviled eggs was quite tasty as well. Your classic eggs with a little twist. Mushroom egg rolls were a hit. It literally came piping hot so it was a little wait till we enjoy it and it was delicious. Came with two dipping sauce which paired very well. Salsa macha fries, similar concept as the elote corn with the coltija cheese, lime creme and cilantro. Brisket can also be added which we opted out for. Then there was the grilled Vietnamese steak with the not so sticky rice in a cube form. Cooked perfectly and the crunchiness of the rice was perfect. Also the dipping sauce was great. Beef brisket tacos were another hit. Two orders and loaded with meat and all the topping. Very flavorful and delicious. Cant come here and not have their almost famous chicken tenders. Big chunks of chicken battered and fried to a nice golden color. It was so juicy and served with pickle chips and dipping. You can have it hot or now with the sauce. Crispy duck confit was delicious. Nice potion of duck with bitter greens and duck fat potatoes. Brazen burger, which was pretty massive. Classic burger but better and with bacon and fries. Then you have the kimchi noodles, added chicken and shrimp or without. That dish was tasty. You either love kimchi or not and the way it was prepared with pasta, delicious. And lastly, the special was a hot ham sandwich I believe. Served with potatoes salad and gherkins. It was a hefty sandwich with loads of meat and cheese. Simply but so good. Food was excellent as we literally had loads from the menu. Of course loads of recommendations which I know why. The food was exceptional and service was great. Restaurant is beautiful and service was excellent. Also they're so pet friendly. Plus, we ordered a dog patty for the pup and it was quite tasty...lol.... Can't wait to come back, hopefully soon. THE DRINKS: probably why "Bar" comes before "Kitchen" in the name - Gintonica - made with the bar's "featured gin" of the week (or maybe month, or until it's gone). Refreshing -- like it's supposed to be - Love Bizarre - The name certainly is. This mezcal-based cocktail with cucumber, mint, shiso and adornments is great for a summer eve. - Misspent Youth - another gin-based cocktail, but with a sweeter tilt offered up by the addition of galiano, pineapple, and coconut - think Hawaii sans rum. THE FOOD: a little hit or miss for us; maybe explore more of the menu next time - Griddled Crab Cakes* - were mushy and almost tartar-like, and the ham hock flavor overpowered the crab. Won't re-order - Mezze Plate - Best plate of the bunch; flavorful and spicy. Would do this one again - Beef Brisket Tacos* - Too salty and the brisket was tough and stringy. Fuggedaboutit. * like most of the offerings, plates were served up as two per order THE SERVICE: Great start, luke-warm finish Polite and friendly greeting at the door and seating by the hostess. 5 Stars. The server seemed like more of a canned act. Polite, but not too much in the welcoming category. Seemed a bit in a hurry. We've had worse experiences, but I was hoping for something more than functional. 2 1/2 stars for that. Better luck next time.
