Momos, hand pies and lassis!
Mar C.

Love this small business! I appreciate their honest hours and that they work the farmers market during that season. Check their insta for up to date hours. This is their cafe, located off Jenkins. It's a small place, a few tables and some rocking 80's tunes. Very clean and simple place. You order at the counter and then have a seat. The proprietor Kyikyi is usually up front taking orders. So friendly and sweet. Get the momos cuz these momos are huge!! I love the dumpling skin on them, they are not too thin and not too thick. The sauce it comes with is delicious and made better with the spicy sauce. The hand pies are pretty good too. The potato curry hand pie had an interesting herby spice to it that I couldn't quite put my finger on. It's delicious tho!

Bought some dumplings at the Beaverton farmers market. Steamed them at home. The sauce was too spicy for me and ate them plain but still tasty. Watch out these are juicy! I got sprayed by the juiciness, be careful when eating so you so don't wear your food.

Some folks at work raved about this place so I just had to try it and I'm so glad I did! I stopped by for lunch and got the beef dumplings and noodles. They were scrumptious! So tasty! Definitely some of the best comfort food I've ever had. And prices are very affordable. The interior is very nice and festive so I dined in. Service was super kind and attentive. Note their hours are a bit limited so check that before heading over. I'm looking forward to going back!

What time they are opened? Does not matter! Because we are never going to try for the 4th time.

I tried to give this business a chance 3 times. 1st: was my fault didn't look up their hours. Found it really strange but can't blame anyone taking the whole family there on a weekend and ended up at Costco food court. 2nd: I got smarter (I thought I did), look up hours on the map on my way back from work Thursday at 4:15 found them closed again. Second source Yelp says Thursday 11:00-2:00. What!!! I should trust Yelp than Google map. Called people at home said sorry no dumplings. 3rd: must be a charm. Yelp says Friday 11:00-2:00 we are here now for lunch. No they are not opened. That's it. Really. No one around me will ever mention Himalayan dumplings again. Owners: make your decision! You can't do business this way and expect good reviews. Save yourself get out of your rent.

Wow! What a find. My dad recommended this spot and I am so glad I checked it out. We got the mushroom dumplings and the chicken handpies and we loved both of them! My dad got the Mango Lassi which I tried and loved as well. The food was all amazing and I will be back to dine in or grab some of their frozen take-and-bake options. The service was wonderful and we were lucky enough to arrive before the crowd! The food came out super quickly and we ate it just as fast. The location is clean, convenient, and decorated very well. There are informational signs on the wall and a beautiful mural on the other side. Overall this was an amazing experience! Please check out Himalayan Dumplings by Kyiki if you have a chance!

Finally got to try this place after months of not getting the timing right. Had the Chicken & Cilantro Momos, the Beef Momos and a Mango Lassi and all were terrific! The spicy sauce is legit spicy and the Lassi helps cool it down between bites. I got a few bags of their frozen Momos to make at home as well. Definitely will be back and recommending it to others.

It would be a good choice for kids who are picky eaters though and just want some noodles. I've seen the momo and it looks great. People seem to like it a lot too, so I'll order that next time I'm willing to try something new. I've always loved momo, just haven't had it from this particular cart and the last several times I tried a new food cart, it didn't go very well.. But the staff are super nice so I want to support their business if possible. Just a heads up if you have a sensitive stomach or are sensitive to fat content - if you get their chai tea with coconut milk, they don't use the kind meant for drinking like you get from a cafe (the kind of coconut milk in a carton). They use canned coconut milk, like you use for cooking, curries, etc., This does make for a creamier and more coconutty drink, but it overwhelmed the chai flavour and gave me a stomach ache most likely due to the high fat content. I'm just not used to drinking 24g fat in one sitting (believe me if I could, I would!). If I'd known they were using canned coconut milk for the dairy alternative, I don't think I would have ordered it. I'm sure the regular chai tea with dairy milk is delicious though, as what I could get out of the spice flavour seemed tasty. I'll update my review next time.

I had walked by this spot a few times but had not run in for a bite until my friend said he loved getting momo here! And of course, we couldn't pass up on getting some chai either. He had dropped by a few times and had chatted with the owners as well so I let him order to his hearts content and just stayed around for the culinary ride. We got the dhal bhat, lentil soup, and veggie momo to share and he grabbed some chicken momo to go. All of the food tasty wholesome, hearty, and made with care. Definitely worth the price and effort. The chai was also boiling hot and perfectly sweet without being too much. Fyi they also have soy and oat chai if you prefer to have something non-dairy! All in all this is a cute spot, may be a biiit less ideal on rainy or really cold days, but hey the chai can help you warm up! Parking in the area is street parking and can be difficult during peak hours, but otherwise not too bad. Prices are fair for the quality so get out there and support a local business!

I ordered the chicken kati roll, a tikka bowl, and lemonade. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The kati roll was especially perfect well-seasoned, nicely wrapped, and satisfying without feeling heavy. The tikka bowl was also really good, with great balance of spices and textures. Even though I ordered to go, I couldn't help but notice how stunning the interior is. Honestly, I've rarely seen such a beautifully designed and spacious Indian restaurant. It's a perfect blend of modern style and authentic Indian décor, which gives it a unique and welcoming vibe. The place was spotless, and the staff were very friendly and helpful from start to finish. Prices are reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, and the overall experience makes it worth a visit.
