With the big box pharmacies you may wait in a circuitous voice-activated system that is hardly what I'd consider good customer service. in contrast, calling Dedericks and with one button push you're talking to a live person within 15 seconds. if you're getting your prescriptions at a big box chain, you're missing out on a much more pleasant experience from ordering to pickup. The corn I got last month was so good you could eat it raw, and this is a great place to pick up local apples as they come into season. If you visit at just the right time, you might even find some Concord grapes (they're like eating grape juice). The homegrown and local selections change with the seasons (oh the bok choy I got last week was so good too!), and they supplement those items with non-local fare so you can get more of what you need in one stop.
