The connection between TJMaxx and Home Goods has been a thing for a number of years, and the new location which sits here for a couple of years now. I really like the layout of the store, with each department looking pretty tidy and kept up. For the most part, it's pretty easy to navigate the store where everything is, and also the staff does a great job of keeping it all organized. The aisles are wide enough which makes it easy to pass, leaving no frustration on my end. I bought a fragile dragon statue here a few weeks ago. I asked the checkout woman to wrap it for me. She scoffed at me and said "seriously?" Yeah, I don't want it to get dinked, scratched or cracked while it's in my cart going out the door on the bumpy pavement nor while on the way home in my car. All you had to do was put a few pieces of paper down and quietly lay the statue down and gently flip it to wrap it. No scoffing necessary. Needs better customer service checkout people. Love the store otherwise but there's no need for such rudeness. It's a simple, normal request to wrap a fragile item. It should be standard, I shouldn't have even had to ask her to do it. By default, we use to wrap any fragile item when I worked retail for many years, and I'm only in my early 30s. read more

While she was in TJ Maxx looking I wandered over to Home Goods. This place is an emporium of the expected and the unusual home and outdoor furnishings, cookware, gourmet foods, and accessories. It's possible to find an unusual and useful house warming gift or even something for your own place. There's always new merchandise coming in and the prices won't break the bank. read more

I've been on many trips to home goods and mostly everytime I find something awesome, that makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. Lol, I love how every season your able find certain home decor for every part of your room from being inspired to throw a festive party or gathering to finding a conversation piece. Lately I've been buying a lot of rae.dunn items, I do wish there was a big amount of her items but in this location it's limited but in any case I'll still be in there for at least an hour. I also like that this location because its definitely bigger than the one in middletown or poughkeepsie (the bigger the homegoods the more excited I get). read more

I have to admit that I absolutely love Homegoods. I could honestly spend hours there. There's so much to look through and it has a little bit of everything. I have to admit that I wasn't exactly excited for this visit. The parking lot was absolutely packed and the line was really long, as always. I thought there would have been less traffic due to covid and the time of day that I went. Upon entering the store and leaving, there were employees wearing masks and counting how many people were arriving and leaving. There were also periodic announcements reminding customers to wear their masks. The staff was very courteous and the registers were equipped with plastic barriers. They were doing their best to keep customers and employees safe. read more

What so you get when you go into a shopping plaza with a TJ MAXX and Homegoods next to eachother? A TjGoods baby! You have to walk in through the TJ MAXX side and then it converts into HomeGoods! This was pretty pretty epic! You really get the best of both worlds AND the HomeGoods side is huge! You can really spend hours in here. Also, there's a Marshalls in that same plaza so it's a triple win! Wish it wasn't so over crowded but besides that lines moved quickly and things were very very nicely organized. read more

First time to the new HomeGoods/TJMAXX combo store and one of the first gift-shopping trips, post-COVID. I really had high hopes since I've been a huge fan of homeGoods for years. WHAT CAN I SAY? The store was clearly designed pre-Covid: narrow isles and confusing arrows that send you in circles. Absolutely no social distancing by customers. What world have they been in for the last seven months? On the plus side, they had you enter through home goods and exit through TJ Maxx. No shopping carts are allowed to leave the store so they have a value of sorts who will watch your carriage until you pull your car around. Idea for TIPS FOR THE MANAGEMENT: Picture Frame aisle was a disaster. Placing delicate photo frames on a glass shelf is asking for trouble. I suggest you put a nonslip mat. Management: when you take somebody's shopping cart with $300 worth of merchandise to "hold it" give them a claim ticket. The young man who took my cart and assisted me in loading my purchase into my vehicle was absolutely charming and professional. Five stars for finding unique items at reasonable prices. Five stars for cleanliness. Two stars for the HORRIBLE LAYOUT (post Covid). 1 star for the $12 worth of chocolate bars that were stored improperly and "bloomed" making them completely inedible. Will I return? Yes, but not during holiday shopping. read more

I love HomeGoods! But this store in particular is far from the best. The TJ Maxx side is pretty spacious and layed out well, but the HomeGoods side is so cramped and overcrowded. On any average day that I'm shopping there, I hear someone knock something off a shelf or I see several broken items on the shelves still for sale. The aisles are barely wide enough for one person to leisurely go through, and they are always crowded. The shelves are overrun with fragile items that are precariously stacked on top of each other, and it's incredibly hard to look through items and even harder to find ones that aren't damaged already. It would be nice if they could find a way to reconfigure this store and space it out more. The one in Kingston is much nicer! read more

I love Home Goods! I recently redecorated 2 rooms in my home and I found so many great items that I picked up that added a lovely touch at a great price ! I got lamps end tables, linens, drapes, and added some nice new decor. They have a great clearance section where you can always find a great buy! I go to Home Goods once a week just to make sure I'm not missing out on something special!!! read more

The worst store in the whole world. Reopening their new HomeGoods store with their TJ Maxx attached to them. The shelves are overstocked and everything keeps falling to the floor. The isles are too small it's only wide enough for one wagon. You don't have enough time to look at the shelves when somebody's right behind you asking you to move. It was the worst stressful experience ever. They need to re-design that store. read more
