    Hockey boy in hotel

Hockey Tournament We couldn't have asked for a better hotel to host our three teams (U14, U12, U10) We travels with the whole family and my son plays on the U12 team. The hotel gave us designated areas to hang out and let the kids play knee hockey. They couldn't have been nicer. Some hotels are not the fondest of hockey tournament teams. Our kids are respectful and followed their rules. My husband called the night before and asked if they had any bigger rooms that could accommodate our family of 5 and they offered a suite. They even gave us the group rate despite it being well past the booking date, which I thought was great. Our blinds were broken but as soon as I informed the front desk, it was fixed immediately! At one point, my son lost his phone (distracted by an intense game of knee hockey ). We didn't realize until the next day. The front desk found it and kept it safe along with some other lost items from the kids. There were places for us to eat, hang out, bring food in. It was a great stay. The pool was great too. The hot tub wasn't working but it didn't impact us. These things happen. The floor by the pool was very slippery so I would recommend putting something down to help with that but that wasn't a deal breaker. Thank you for being so accommodating to our hockey kiddos!!!

Wow. How this hotel got a overall rating of 3 is insane. This hotel was great. Hotel manager needs to be informed on happy this guest was. Convenient parking garage across street. The front desk staff was informative, polite and courteous. The location is the heart of Worcester. Shrewsberry street just a short walk. Off the rails bar/restaurant around the block. Live music, good drinks and good food. Room was spotless. Cool fridge in room. A/C kept room nice and cool. Water pressure in shower was excellent. Will be back again for next 4 years to visit family member in college. Will be back late October for family week. Told family members how great hotel was. Everyone booked rooms there. See you in October, Hilton. P.S Jenna at the front desk rocks!

Clean and comfortable and not located within walking distance of much. They do have an attached restaurant. My room on the 7th floor was large and faced the street. Nice desk space, flat panel television, Keurig coffee machine and a mini-fridge. Plenty of towels and enough space to spread out all the papers that I was working on for the one night. I thought that the bed was a little soft. (If HGI has the adjustable beds, I missed that.) Plenty of towels in the bathroom. Water pressure and hot water was great. Yes, there were a few sirens and at least one train passed by. I did not notice any more noise after about 8pm though. I did not park a car.. If I come back to Worcester, I'd stay here again.

The best part about this hotel is the location. If you want to attend an event at the DCU or the Palladium, it is literally right there. There's a great Mexican restaurant across the street and a new nose attached to the hotel. The rooms are OK. Smaller than most but fairly clean. A little bit dated. Hotel staff were accommodating of request for extra towels and blankets. Room service is by request so if you would like it, make sure to ask. Otherwise, they clean the room every five days. The worst part about this particular location is there's nowhere to go for breakfast, so you're sort of captive to the hotels "Buffet". for $17 you pretty much get continental breakfast. you do have the option of purchasing à la carte breakfast, but it feels like the restaurant knows you don't have any other options in the morning so they're going to charge you what they can considering humans will probably need to eat some thing eventually. I ended up forking over 17 bucks each morning to get our daughter a bagel and some Froot Loops. You could also get scrambled eggs that came out of a box or bacon and sausage. I suppose it's a little bit more than continental breakfast, but still just feels like a purposely jacked up price. would be great if they would consider a kids price for the buffet so you're not forking over essentially $10 for a somewhat stale bagel and another $10 for a little bowl of Froot Loops. or maybe add a waffle maker to that thing? Anything to make it a little more worth the price? parking is $11 a day if you're staying at the hotel instead of $20 a day if you were not.

Great Staff First I want to express our thanks to all the wonderful personnel working here. We stayed here for seven days due to a terminal ill family member. The staff went over and above helping us to be comfortable and expressing their sympathy. The hotel is located in the downtown area just off the freeway easy to find. Room was clean with refrigerator and microwave. WiFi was free and worked reasonably well. There was no safe. Breakfast was a buffet with a Omelette station. Unfortunately we ate too much. There is a city parking garage across the street for $11 per day.

If you are going to an event in downtown Worcester this place is awesome. The hotel is kind of rundown due to age.

The location is pretty good, right at the end of Shrewsbury street and within a few minute walk of restaurants and Wormtown. The room was really big and had a kitchenette which was fucking adorable. The bathroom was lovely. The bed was comfortable. The view was pretty good too. I thought I heard footsteps at one point in the morning coming from the room above but I could have been dreaming. The place isn't fancy, but it's clean and had the basics we needed. However, there's one big issue that left a sour taste. My husband accidentally left his AirPods in our room when we checked out. We realized it after flying back to Atlanta, so I called the hotel right away. I was told they hadn't shown up in lost and found, and despite my request for them to check the room, I was repeatedly brushed off. After a few calls and escalating the issue, a manager finally got involved, only to say they still couldn't find them. Here's the thing: it wasn't until I mentioned I could track the AirPods' location, make them play a sound, and was about to send someone to the hotel that they suddenly "found" them. It took three days of constant calling just to get a straight answer, which was exhausting. If the manager had shown a little more concern or actually followed through on my first request, all of this could've been avoided. I can't stand dishonesty, and this experience felt like a runaround I wouldn't wish on anyone.

Additionally, the staff were very accommodating as I was checking in at 2:30AM during the end of May 2025. Big props to them. Additionally, the free breakfast and coffee were nice to have in the morning. Building off of some of the previous reviews, you can tell the hotel is worn and could use a little work in some of the rooms. They're clean for the most part, but the room I stayed in had some dents, pain scratches, and staining all over the place. The bed was ok to sleep in - no bedbugs, weird smells, or stains. Unlike many hotels I've stayed in, they actually do have a small refrigerator and microwave for use. During my stay there, I had really bad issues with the shower. Big red stain in the middle of the tub and the hot water would not stop cutting out during my entire stay (Bad given the weather at the time). Other problem I had was the hallways smelled like weed and management was not able to resolve it despite my complaints. From what it seems like, housekeeping is a hit or miss for some of these folks. They never came to my room but then again I was only there for a couple of days.
