I decided to throw in the towel and find a pool maintenance company for this season. After calling a lot of companies, I found the no one wanted my business as much as A Sunny Day Pool did. His prices were reasonable and cheaper than others, so it was an easy choice. I had him open my pool ($175) and return to vacuum it. His rate for cleaning is $50 an hour. It has taken me hours of unsuccessful vacuuming in the past to even remotely get my pool looking good. My pool cover fell in a little over the winter so there was a lot of leaves in the bottom. He brought out his own equipment and got the pool sparkling clean in exactly 1 hour. I am not kidding when I say that is the best $50 I have ever spent. It is two weeks later and my pool is still sparkling clean. I have him scheduled to come again this week and do a clean up before a party. Hiring this company for my pool was a great decision. It is just one man, but he is reliable, professional, and gets the job done perfect and quick. I would 100% recommend him to anyone in the Colonie area looking for pool maintenance. I will continue to use him through the summer and the rest of my years owning a pool.

We previously used a large pool cleaning company and we had to regularly run our pool robot. This past summer, our pool robot was basically on vacation. We only used it to pick up a couple of leaves stuck at the deep end of our pool. Also, with the previous large pool company, we had different people come by each week but with 413 pools, Derek and Steve were the only ones who came by. They were good with communication, showed up when they were supposed to, always very friendly and answered any of my pool questions. What was also great about 413 pools is that we were not stuck with a weekly cleaning contract for the summer (this can be a problem if your pool ever needs unexpected repairs/liner tear)! If we didn't want a cleaning bc we were away, we could have just skipped a week. They also did our opening and closing. NEVER RETURNING…read more After 13 years as a loyal customer, I can honestly say I will never return to Cuomo Pools in Duanesburg, NY. Recently the business reopened after being shut down by the New York State DEC following a failed inspection, not something they advertise to prospective customers. Following an incident that neither Cuomo Pools nor the manufacturer took legal responsibility for (that led to over $4,000 of damage in spelled chemicals in my vehicle) I contacted the DEC to file a complaint because the bottle of chlorine I purchased was missing its cap valve. Following my report, the DEC investigated Cuomo Pools and found multiple violations, leading to a temporary shut down and the owners, which I have known for many years, to verbally harass and degrade me for bringing their problems to light. There are plenty of pool stores that value their customers, take responsibility for their actions, and treat people with professionalism and respect. I strongly encourage anyone looking for pool supplies or service to spend their money elsewhere.

This company does work without your consent, and will charge you!…read more I am disappointed to leave this pool company after 2 years because they went ahead, and did work outside of my agreed upon contract of a pool opening. At no point in time did they contact me to do "additional work". Therefore, be very careful. They replaced a piece that did not need to be replaced on top of my filter, tossed to the side. Not once letting us know. Not once hearing from us to agree on them touching anything outside of an opening. What's more disturbing is now the piece that was replaced I am not sure can go back. Thus, forcing me to now shut off my pool filter and now not using my pool until this company resolves this blatant issue of unauthorized work and possible damage to what they replaced as irreplaceable now. Make sure you find a pool company that values their customers consent on all work done on your property. Especially because I was not even home for this lack of consumer respect. I would ALSO like to point out that the items replaced were there last year and the year before that. and NO ONE DID OUTSIDE REPAIRS UNTIL NOW. Answered all my questions and came by my home while we were home I found out for new homeowner pool companies at times don't do that.Mark the owner came by checked my pool out and turns out other company that supposedly opened our pool really didn't. Our cartridge filters were not in our filter and our jets were not installed. Mark showed me how to do this as well set my filter to clean my pool. He came by the next and cleaned the pool. They never made the first scheduled date on April 28th. Blue Crew texted me to say they could not open my pool until the following week. That night I was rushed by ambulance to Albany Med, got out on Monday with doctors orders to not "do ANY heavy lifting". So. getting my pool open now became a serious health issue, it merely a convenience. I texted Blue Crew back when I was home from Albany Med to say that probably be better for my health if they opened the end of May, before Memorial Day. They called me to coordinate an opening date. When I asked if opening the Monday before M-Day was possible, I either was hung up on, or the call dropped. They texted me to say the call dropped, but never mentioned rescheduling. I asked them to text me back - they didn't. I texted again asking for an opening date - no reply back. I texted again - still no reply. I have always opened my pool every year. This was the first time I sought a service and Blue Crew BLEW IT! Under normal circumstances I would just be frustrated with Blew Crew, but I am furious that I now have a SERIOUS HEALTH ISSUE and have been abandoned by BLEW CREW. What they claim on their website as 'dependable service' is TOTALLY UNDEPENDABLE!
