There is a lot of large equipment, but not a whole lot of variety or imagination in the different interactive functions. Reeves Park's playground (Phoenixville), Smith Memorial Playground (Fairmount Park), Freedom Playground (Haverford), and Aston Twp's new playground all have really imaginitive stuff, and just as large of an expanse (if not larger). I also have to give props to the Reeves Park and Freedom playgrounds for being fenced in (Smith is, but it's so big, the fence is not as containing as it could be). Kids Dream is not fenced, unfortunately, because it is a layer of safety I always appreciate, for young kids who run, and also just to keep out wandering dogs (the ones on a long leash whose caretakers aren't paying attention) or to dissuade sketchy people from hanging around (sorry but they're everywhere). There is a nearby walking trail, and it's also adjacent to township offices (shared parking lot). I do have to comment that there was a bit of litter generally around, which is never okay for a kids' playground. Also, this playground is pretty crowded. Parents seemed adequately considerate, but honestly, all the abovementioned playgrounds had a better vibe to me. Maybe because this place was built up by my recommendation and the reviews, but it wasn't as great as my expectations (and comparative experiences).

I'm completely comfortable with my two year old climbing here unassisted. There are two sets of swings. The sandbox always has a few sand toys and is shaded with a large overhead tarp in the summer. There are also plenty of picnic tables and benches. There is a basketball court which is often also used for kids to scooter around. My favorite thing about this park is the abundance of trees providing shade on hot days. This playground is more forgiving in the heat than most other playgrounds in the area.

They have swings for bigger kids, a pair of swings for babies, and a few swings that are adapted for kids with special needs. Many slides of many different heights, including two that are two stories tall. There is even a really cool "elevator" pole that has a platform that slowly decends when someone stops onto it, then returns up top when the person steps off. Not sure which came first, the name or the fun play element. The ground is made of the rubberized pavement which is nice under foot. They have a few tables as well as some benches for parents to sit and take a break or have a little picnic. In the park there is also a few fields including a baseball diamond. Parking can be limiting because of its popularity but I haven't had any issues thus far.

The park is much deeper than it appears from the road and parking area. It includes the playground, 2 tennis courts, 1 basketball court, a rain garden, open playing fields, and restrooms. There seem to be fewer benches than I'd expect. The renovations really spruced up this park. Check it out!

They have sports fields and a playground. My son had fun playing on everything. I have to mention the slides held an unusually large amount of water at their bases after a rain the night before. Luckily I saw it before my kid had a splash landing! The playground is well fenced, which is a must since it's near the road. It is padded with wood chips. There is a stream that runs along one side of the park, and thankfully it too is fenced off to protect kids. This is a scenic neighborhood too, where sidewalks are maintained everywhere, so it's worth a stroll around to check out some pretty architecture after you enjoy the park.

This isn't the biggest playground but it has everything you need to keep a young child busy for an…read morehour or so: swing set, 4 slides, stuff to climb, seesaw, two seater rocking fire truck and even a little house with a kids size table and benches. My kids (age 2 and 4) love to pretend they're cooking and serving food (wood chip pizza of course) at the little house. We come here a couple times a month and it is never too crowded. The most I've ever seen here is three other families. There is a lot of shade so this place is forgiving on hot days. There are a ton of shaded picnic tables. There are no regular bathrooms but there are a couple porta-potties nearby. There is also a little lake in front of the parking lot. My kids love to walk around it and check out the ducks and then look for minnows from the little wooden bridge.

Apparently, you can't play tennis on Sunday due to the Ashbridge Will. I'm not actually sure if the rule is enforced because the doors are not locked.! The courts themselves, are pretty nice. The lines are visible and there are little to no cracks on them. Though, there are only two courts. While none of the courts are shaded there is a shaded area right by the courts. In that area is picnic benches where kids and families have picnics and birthday parties. There is a pretty large playground with slides, monkey bars, a spider-web climbing structure and more! That must be fun for the kids! There is also two bathroom with water fountains. The water is solid and ice cold! There is also a large walking trail that goes around the park! Altogether, this is a great park to have fun at!

We were on our way into the city and met up with some friends for an impromptu play date. This park is really cool, with lots of modern play equipment for both younger tots and older kids. My 6 year old really enjoyed the "spider web." There is lots of parking and lots of space for the kids to play and it's right in the heart of the main line off of Montgomery Ave in Bryn Mawr. We'll definitely take the kids here again if we're in the area.

Drove the 45 minutes here to take my kids to a splash pad since there are none where we live. This…read moresplash pad is part of the Montgomery Township recreation center and is free. It is really nice, lots of water features and a newer playground within it. My kids were entertained and could have stayed all day. As far as amenities, there are some shaded tables and a public restroom. Defintley would recommend for young kids.
