We had the pool all to ourselves for a few hours under the supervision of 2 lifeguards, and it was just the best. My daughter enjoyed herself, and I felt safe with her there, even though at 5 she is not a strong swimmer. The pool is perfect for kids as it does not surpass 5-feet, and the indoor seating area allows party guests to look out at their kids as they swim. Not to mention staff were very sweet and accommodating. We had a blast!

If you decide to send your child to Kids First, just make sure to keep a close eye on your bank…read morestatements and do not take their word for anything. We were initially fairly happy with lessons at Kids First. Our son made decent progress (despite some issues with constantly changing teachers and repetitive classes that don't focus on individual needs). There were a few times we thought about canceling, but he enjoyed swimming so much that we continued. When we eventually spoke to the manager about suspending/canceling our account in June 2024 because we were going away, she happily agreed citing 30 days notice and that she would process it for us on the spot. This is where our issues started. Unfortunately we trusted her word and having had lessons there for around 10 months, we had no reason not to. We have since found out that even though we haven't attended any lessons since July 15th (no one contacted us concerning the lack of attendance) they have continued to charge us. Not only is the lack of contact alarming, it clearly shows how little they actually care about the children. For almost 4 months they happily processed our payments without ever once wondering where our child was. So now, because we trusted the manager who either forgot (unlikely because we were stood right there as she said she was processing it), or decided she could get away with overcharging us, we are out hundreds of dollars. We will be opening a formal dispute with the CC company, but I wish Kids First would have just done the right thing. They have offered a credit towards family swims or future classes, but we aren't thrilled at the prospect of having to do business with them or trusting them with our child in any way after this experience. Unfortunately since this happened, I have looked closer at some of their negative reviews and can see that this isn't an isolated incident. Such a shame, because some of the staff and teachers were great. Just terrible business practices.

As I mentioned, we came here for my son's classmates birthday. Everyone had a great time! Since it was a party, it was fairly structured. We got there, as soon as people showed up, we went into the gym area. Kids had a great time running around in between structured activities. They loved slam the cheese, where they run into a triangular gym mat that they run into, top over, and it slams into the ground. They also had assisted summersaults, balance beams, and other gymnastics items. That is the extent that I know things lol! There were several other organized activities, the brought out 3 barrels of various balls and 5 hoops and let the kids go for it. They had this mat that blew up and that they jumped on, then used as an ever increasing obstacle course. Afterwards they did this bubble show where they had all the kids follow the bubbles to the party room where we proceeded to have some pizza and dessert. All in all my son had a great time! Staff was pretty friendly. I wish they had more direction and invited the parents in rather than having us stand at the window and everyone gradually going inside. It was awkward having us stand around inside while they were playing.... Other than that. Great place for super hyper active kids! Great place for a birthday!

So, here's my story…read more March of 2021, we registered to reserve a spot for our daughter to attend. We let the ladies at Chesterbrook know that we were looking to move, and made sure to verify that our deposit would be refundable should we move out of the area. A few months later, we did wind up moving too far to make Chesterbrook a viable option, and began the process of having our money returned to us. Fast forward to March of 2022, and the quest continues. We have called FOURTEEN TIMES, spoken to a dizzying amount of "Laurens" and even had the one person that was handling our request go on maternity leave. Think about that; the person that was supposed to see to our refund had time to get pregnant, began maternity leave, and our money is still not refunded. I have been told countless times that I will receive a phone call. I usually don't. I have called their parent company, Spring Education Group, who have ALSO ignored my voice messages. You can't leave a voice message at Chesterbrook, as their mailbox is full. We have been patient, polite, understanding and calm through this whole ordeal. The ladies at Chesterbrook are always very nice and respectful when we do get to interact with them, but it's obvious that once they have your money, you're no longer a priority. The school itself seemed pretty old and a bit worn when we took our tour, but because the staff seemed so pleasant, we decided to make sure we reserved a spot. (Another thing they were a hard sell on.....they made sure to impress upon us that we should reserve immediately, or the spots would be gone. Red flag.) If I had known communication would be so rough, I never would have signed up. All I want is my refund. My daughter never set foot in their school, yet they are holding on to almost $500 of my money.

For a school trip on June 3, I was there as a chaperone for my kids.. well later on in the day, there was this one lifeguard. not sure of her name but she wore glasses and had blonde hair, skinny and tall. This lifeguard is a monster! She should be fired. First off, she wasn't doing her job and said to the children "yo, stop splashing me, go move somewhere else" in a rude tone acting like getting wet isn't part of her job. Second there were kids almost drowning and she did nothing about it, instead she yelled at kids for sitting on the ledge of the pool and when my daughter responded with just an "okay", she flipped out and told her to get out of the pool for giving an attitude, then when my daughter and her friends were passing by, she called them fat acting like that won't have an impact on their self image.. how could a worker be like that? How horrible.. not only that but the place is dirty and infested with bugs, there were bugs flying all over and in the bathroom there were roaches.. they don't clean at all and the curtains were easy to see in.. I don't recommend going here for just that reason, but the other workers were nice, just not that bimbo lifeguard not doing her job..

The public skating session at 8p was pretty much empty, besides two other families, so it gave me an opportunity to move around and practice on the ice. My boyfriend liked that it was quiet because he doesn't really like when places are too crowded. The staff were super friendly and allowed us to go on the ice a bit earlier than the scheduled skating time. The rink was super smooth, almost slippery at some points, so I had to skate around a little bit before practicing some different moves. After everyone skated around a few times and marked up the ice it was much easier to skate. The only thing I would change is the prices, since I had my own skates it was only $10 for me, but for my boyfriend to skate and rent ice skates, it was $13 total, which I think is a bit pricey. At the rink I usually go to, you can skate for $8 and skate with rentals for $10.

But if this is the what is considered 'crowded' then it's not too bad. You would need to see how Urban Air is like on a weekend, and you'll know what crowded means. I also noticed that although there were a diverse mix of customers, the kids and parents all seemed very respectful. Trying various types of these indoor amusements in many locations throughout the country - you'll get to see a bit of rough plays, misunderstandings, and whatnot. Cherry Hill/Maple Shade seems like a very affable area/town/neighborhood, and parents/children were all courteous. (If you look up the viral video with the parenta fighting at a Kindergarten graduation in Toledo, OH, you'll know exactly...) This is a very organized, large space, filled with a lot of fun, no doubt. Most of the staffers were all part-time, on the young side, so it's not bad. The initial line to buy tickets was pretty long, but they ask everyone to do the waiver in advance via your phone. They also use color coded wristbands to determine the time limit. Once the 2 hours of play has passed, your color will no longer be accepted at the activities. Great concept and also an honor system that people/kids are to take it upon themselves to depart the premises if your color is called out. They also try to sell the membership, which works if you know you want to come often. I am not from the area so it wasn't an easy sell for us. Also, it is recommended to eat before heading here. You'll see why. Have fun! Thanks for checking out this review!

My son and I have been here quite possibly over a hundred times since 2018, and we both love to jump together (I'm a kid at heart, it seems). In that time they have consistently carved away at the trampoline areas to install other things like slides, a ten-and-under playground, and an expanded arcade space. More variety, I guess, but I really prefer the trampolines. The pricing model has completely changed as well. Signing up for a single hour used to be a cheap option, but there is now a two hour minimum which costs $28 per person. But for only a dollar more you can sign up for a month membership (no annual memberships), $5 more will get you elite level membership, both with automatic renewal of course. Smart business or somewhat predatory? I don't know. The same bored teenagers are still running the place, and lately have been asked to crack down on the wearing of non-Skyzone trampoline socks. Don't want paying customers wearing competitors' socks? Ok, fair enough. A business is free to make its own rules. But when I'm told that it's a safety issue because only Skyzone socks work on Skyzone trampolines, like the creator of Skyzone is some sort of proprietary genius, that's just laughable. The snack bar serves about four things, all garbage and all overpriced (charging $20 for a 16" probably frozen pizza should be a crime). Despite some of the negatives, Skyzone is still a fun place, especially if you've never been here before. There is a ton to do that will easily fill up two hours and it's a great place for active kids with tons of energy to burn some off. Brightly lit, clean bathrooms, spacious (though it could use a lot more seating; I'm tired of sitting on the ground when it gets crowded). At the end of the day, though, my son is getting older and the negatives are keeping us from coming back too often these days.
