Great place for kids to continue playing sports through the winter, have had my son do 2years of winter session indoor soccer and it was something to look forwards to on Saturdays. The refs are young(hs age) for the younger soccer games but they seemed knowledgeable. The indoor fields are turf and the large field is split into 2smaller fields for games where the teams play literally wall to wall - def a bit different but a great opportunity for you to continue playing. There are also outdoor fields to be used we just were not signed up for those. Also has adult soccer and lacrosse. There are places to stand to watch the games with a little obstruction but it's not terrible. Very easy to get to but parking is crazy, very small lot and extremely busy. But I would recommend for anyone adults or kids read more

It's the only game in town. And they know it! Great facility, nice indoor and outdoor fields. In my experience, most of the problems here are with scheduling/parking. Scheduling is the real issue, they cram in all the games they can with games starting 2 minutes after the last game ends leaving almost no time to warm up. Players are often still walking off the pitch when the next game starts. This also makes parking tough. Not only are the games right on top of each other, but a lot of people hang around after their game socializing or waiting for another chance to play. Reffing can be hit or miss. There are some good refs, and some really bad ones that just linger around midfield rather than staying with the play. It's a great facility, and the only game in town! read more

It's okay, I don't like how there's only 1 Minute to get on the field. The games are not that fun but maybe for kids, they are.

Incredible. Fun. Priced accordingly. Great atmosphere. Continuing the develop as well. Union training complex, high class.

Ysc sports has amazing fields, when I first played at YSC, it was great. Then the mask rules kicked in and I thought I could no longer play do to breathing restrictions. They accommodated my breathing condition and I can play again. I'm very happy that the YSC organization reached out to let me know I could still play. Great place, great referees and great competition. read more

Ysc, formerly RocketSports is hands down the best soccer facility in and around Philly burbs. With both indoor and outdoor fields padded with Sprinturf, it satiates most soccer needs throughout the year. In addition to the 7v7 leagues in three division that we usually sign up for, they also offer Soccer camps for all ages along with the youth development plan for the Union. Their staff is pretty awesome at scheduling and managing the games. A shout out to Charlie D. and Joe L. for helping with our team. For the leagues you can either sign up as a team for 1000$ or as an individual to be added to the House team for 100$. The competition is pretty good , and you can sign up in an A,B or C, Over 35 and Co-ed league according to your skill levels. I know there are many places and social clubs around the city that offer Scrimmages, but if you are really interested in a top notch experience, you wouldn't have to look any further than YSC. read more

Others said what I came here to say. Facility is nice, kinda sticky. Refs suck. Tonight, I thought ours was dead, no joke. Other nights, and often, I had refs holding conversations with non players, not watching our game at all, allowing it to get dangerously physical. Often times we are asked if we have a game ball, what the phuck am I paying for? Games are scheduled very late even if you pay your team fees right away. You are told, pay early, get earlier games. BullShit! They lie about anything and everything to get your money. I put a team together for an over 30 tournament. I emailed Charlie Dodds to confirm our bracket was over 30, I was told yes. It was not. Liar liar pants on fire Charlie!!! When I called him out on it, he never wrote back, douchebag. We are all Moms who are over 30, 40 even, with busted ankles and knees. We cannot play against 20-27 years olds! Don't lie just to keep a team's money. So with this review, I am out. I will finish out this session and head on over to another indoor soccer facility. I do have choices in the area! read more

This is a really solid place to get in an adult league. There are year round leagues for every skill level and several age groups. They have indoor and outdoor facilities. The field is a very fast turf both indoors and out. Most leagues are 7v7 half field, but they have full field league on the weekends. There are always kids there training so, they must have a lot of children's programs. The parking is usually filled on evenings, so sometimes you have to park across the street. Outside of that, I haven't found a better place to play soccer at. read more

Got to attend SilverBack Bboy Open 2017 here this past weekend and it was awesome!! A 4-star because the AC was down and that place was so humid, with some accommodation with fans. Venue is huge! Could be used for sporting events or in our case one of the largest breaking (break-dancing) competition in the USA. There's some parking spots outside and additional venue parking from the YSC academy next door. They also have a restroom and a small cafe for some snacks and ready to go food like pizza and sandwiches. Overall, great place to hold or attend sporting events! read more

Despite blizzard warnings or evenings in which the entire region is flooding, YSC sports refuses to postpone league play. Nor are they willing to bring outdoor games inside! On top of their gross negligence, they also lack proper first aid materials. Short of needing a band-aid, you are pretty much on your own. If I was a parent, I would hesitate allowing my child to play in such an ill-prepared environment. Clearly profits are of more importance than the safety of their league members. Management's laziness and/or carelessness carries over to their inability to properly manage league play. For example, they do not provide your team schedule until the week before league play starts. While those in charge might not have busy schedules, others do and not having the time to plan accordingly makes things extremely difficult. They also allow people who work there to play, which normally wouldn't be a problem if the refs ignored this relationship. They don't. They also claim that those teams who pay immediately get preferential treatment when creating schedules that often change the day your game. An obvious lie. read more

My husband has played in their coed adult league for several years now. He enjoys getting out and running around once a week so he continues to participate, but it is in spite of their terrible organization. Game schedules are absurd with games starting as late as 11:40 PM. On a week night. At 11:40. At night. What?! All the other reviews mention all the other negatives (late notification of schedules, expensive, disinterested staff, lack of parking, disregard for weather conditions, no medical support for injuries - just to restate a few!) but nobody has yet commented on their classes for children. My five year old and my twin toddlers began "training" classes this past session and I can assure you, we will not be renewing. My older son's class seems good and appropriate enough. They really work on skills and my son generally likes it, although he does not love it. But as a parent I resent it. There is no communication with the parents, not even acknowledgment of our presence. I also have yet to see an instructor greet my child. I don't know if they know his name and there are 7 kids in the class. But the toddler class! Ugh! The toddler class! What a disaster! First let me say that the description led me to believe this was going to be like Gymboree with tunnels, climbing, jumping, and tumbling, plus some soccer balls to kick around. Sounds fun. And the scheduling really sold me as it was offered simultaneously with my older son's class (he is in afternoon kindergarten so I struggle with morning activities appropriate for all three children). But then class started and it would be a laughable joke if the staff weren't so absurdly serious about it all. The class is for 18-36 month olds a.k.a. 1 and 2 year olds. Let me repeat: for 1 and 2 year olds. These are small children. And yet the first half of the class is a real soccer training! They ask the kids to pass the ball back and forth, dribble from sideline to sideline, toss the ball up and try to head it, etc. WHAT?!! Have they ever met a toddler before? Needless to say it is nearly complete chaos but they continue to introduce new drills as if any of these children are listening much less capable of doing the activities. Then it is time for the obstacle course which is the area that is reminiscent of Gymboree with trampolines, foam ramps, balance beams, tunnels, etc. Yay! Finally an age appropriate activity! Right? Wrong. It is not free play. Not even free range. There is an order to how the children are to proceed single file through the area ending with taking a ball and shooting on goal. For one year olds. *sigh* I truly wonder who designed this program. And the same issue regarding staff involvement persists. They do not greet you, they do not assist you, they do not chat with you. In a toddler class. Like I said, we are NOT renewing. read more

YSC is the new and improved rocket sports. I have played in multiple soccer leagues here. The fields are in amazing shape and there are indoor and outdoor turf fields. My drawbacks to YSC fall more in the leagues and how things are run. Games are stacked directly on top of each other time wise with 2 mins apart. Doesn't sound like a big deal but oftentimes you hardly have time to get on the field and the clock is already running, and forget about warming up. Despite having a good amount of parking there are so many games at once and the short time between games create for difficulty finding a space almost always. The refs used to be pretty awful doing other things during games, but have improved a good bit in the last couple years. The facility is a non profit, yet somehow the leagues are amount the most expensive to play in, which is a bit confusing to me. All in all, they still get a huge draw and the biggest adult leagues in the city. read more

I played one season here in a men's soccer league and was very dissatisfied with their management and how the league was run. If it were cheaper, why not? But it certainly wasn't cheap. They allowed so many teams (appx 30) into a short seasonal league. This has a negative on all teams because 1) they split the fields to accommodate so many teams, meaning you may play on a large or small field. There is no uniform consistency there. 2) No half-time. It's because they have so many kickoff times that they can't even afford to give your team a few minutes for water break between halves. There are no halves. 3) Playoffs were laughably stupid. No longer do you play a 40-minute game, but instead 3 incredibly short games that are all very inconveniently scheduled in the space of one evening. That's right, they can't even be bothered to space them out across two weeks. I finished the season with the impression that they are far more interested in collecting entry fees than providing a positive playing experience. The playing facilities are nice. read more

First of all, when you sign up for a league on Monday nights they should play on Monday. All of a sudden they scheduled us for a Tuesday night because 1 team in the league cannot make Mondays. So every team in the league has to play 1 Tuesday night just to accommodate 1 other team. I think the other teams should have been asked first. We had 1/2 our team unavailable to play and were scrambling to find players - all this to keep 1 team happy??? Secondly - the playoffs are not very realistic - How does a quick 20 minute game make for fair playoffs? Lastly - our games were all of a sudden scheduled as early as 4:30 on Mondays - we were told not before 5:30ish. They moved all the kids games earlier so they accommodate more adult teams. Our kids don't even get off of the bus until 4:15!! It's all about money with them! read more

YSC lacks professionalism and organization in its leadership. Be aware of schedule changes that may occur after you have enrolled your child and planned according to initial schedule on the website. I will say that it is a beautiful facility, but that does come at an increased cost relative to other soccer programs in the area. read more

My daughter has been participating in the indoor soccer leagues. All games start promptly. Good communication from the league regarding scheduling, etc. The indoor facility is very nice. TV's and small snack bar are nice. They need to work on their snow removal. A suggestion for next winter: I would think there are enough people on staff that they could 2 teenagers a shovel and have them shovel the sidewalk. read more

Our team signed up for their coed bronze division soccer league, supposedly the lowest level. After two seasons, our team will not be returning. For some perspective, our team has two legitimate players, with the rest of us learning to play and have fun with friends (what an adult league should be). Here is why we are not returning: I'll start with the positives - the facilities/fields are nice. Negatives - 1. Way overpriced. This league does not keep any statistics, check rosters, or give you anything that makes you feel like it was worth playing. 2. Lazy management - if you have a problem, management will be sure to look at you like you have three heads and dismiss your complaint. 3. No roster checks - Teams just pull best players from other leagues. So if you're looking to learn, you're bound to lose every game as most other bronze level teams pull from upper divisions, who just run over everybody. 4. The refs - one ref on a field, who stands in the middle and does absolutely nothing. I've never seen a referee less engaged in a game. 5. One night playoffs - Their playoff format is a joke. A single elimination tournament with 20 minute games. For 1000+ dollars, you should get more than 8 games and a terrible playoff. And you won't win anyway- weak teams will pull good teams players. 6. Safety - if you get hurt, the facility doesn't even own band aids. Crutches. Nothing. They should care about their customers' safety, but that would mean actually doing your job. read more

Great facilities and coaches, but the administration / ownership lacks organization. The websites does not provide proper information about class start AND END dates. It is not unusual for kids leagues to be canceled (for no reason) and makeup dates tacked on to the end. This happened to us two years in a row. read more

The quality of the training is high, but their communication with parents is terrible. it is very difficult to know if a training session is on or not. We live 30 minutes away and I drive my sons to training there because of the trainers a great... but you never know if the training is on... or not.... and on snow days it is a huge challenge as their phone message is out of date and their website is difficult to navigate. If the quality of the information flow could match the quality of the their training they would warrant an A+ read more
