We were turned away because my cousin is 20. If we were able to provide proof of guardianship, we would have been allowed in. Who walks into a restaurant with legal papers showing you are the guardian?? When we asked the waitress why we couldn't just eat, she was very dismissive, rude and did not explain why this is their rule, she simply stated "its a cafe liquor license". My husband and I have been here over a dozen times and have only been carded half of the time, and we've ordered alcohol everytime. Riddle me that. There has never been any expectation to be 21 to just walk in. All of a sudden we can't let a 20 year old just get lunch with a water? I'm sure they got themselves into an underage drinking disaster but that shouldn't affect everyone else. I understand the rules are written on the website, but we've never had an issue previously so why would I think to check if I needed to bring guardianship paperwork with me? The entire experience was bizarre and unappreciated. We will not be back ever.

It is especially nice to have the large amount of incredible off the street parking right outside the front door. I was honored to attend the soft opening a few days ago. I am now looking forward to attending the grand opening which will be on August 19 from 7 to 10 PM with live music by the fabulous Jack Lynn.
