They sent someone out the next day to give me an estimate and a week later (this morning) they were at my house removing a mid-sized leyland cypress that was leaning at a 45º angle against my fence and hanging over my neighbor's shed as a result of the recent wind storm. Then they ground up the stump including the roots that were protruding from the ground. The price was fair and the communication was excellent thanks to their top notch office manager. Overall, they were a pleasure to do business with. Anybody can do a decent job under normal circumstances, but these folks delivered when everyone was swamped by the recent nor'easter.

They tore down sections of the fence and left them on our property, even though the fence technically belongs to the neighbors who had the work done. They removed 2 trees. I had 4 trees removed by another company and didn't have any of these issues. They laid down boards underneath where the crane would have to drive and you can't even tell an enormous crane had driven there. They didn't have to remove any of my fencing to do the work in my fenced-in backyard. Anyway all I'm saying is there are other companies out there who will be more respectful to your (and your neighbors) property.
