0 stars. Tri-Ced failed to pick up my recycling, claiming it was inaccessible because a car was…read moreparked in front of the bin. This claim is completely unacceptable. The recycling bin was touching the street and placed directly next to two other cans that were serviced without issue by Waste Management. The driver got off the truck and serviced my address, proving accessibility was not the problem. I am located on a busy street and have no control over who parks or where people park. Expecting residents to manage street parking to accommodate Tri-Ced's convenience is unreasonable. When I called to resolve this, I was met with dismissive and poor customer service and was again told the bins were "inaccessible," despite clear evidence to the contrary. This is a failure in service, accountability, and customer support. Tri-Ced needs to own this mistake and correct it, not deflect responsibility with excuses.

I had a terrible experience at CalWest Recycling. The owner was incredibly rude and unprofessional…read morefrom start to finish. Not only was he cursing at me, but he also called me a "dick," which is completely unacceptable behavior for someone running a business. To make matters worse, I was instructed to unload and move my own pallet of batteries for recycling. After I had already done the work, I was suddenly told I couldn't continue because I was wearing Birkenstocks. If that was actually a safety policy, one of the employees could have easily told me before I started unloading instead of waiting until I was finished. When I was told I had to wait in my car, I simply walked over to my vehicle, and the owner continued insulting me by calling me a "dick" as I left. Customer service and basic professionalism were completely absent. There are plenty of other recycling businesses that treat their customers with respect. I would definitely recommend taking your business elsewhere.

Man said he was going based off what was in the computer. After seeing the price difference I wanted to separate the copper to make a couple extra dollars since I had it mixed. I asked the man handling the transactions that told me a different price on the copper if he can lend me some clippers and he said he cant let me borrow them yet he had my ID and I was going to do it right in front of him. Words cant explain how frustrated I was. I ended up taking a loss at the end of the day and affected me mentally due to financial struggles.

They're fairly organized in the chaos of all their customers and somehow know how to keep everyone's stuff separated... I would not be able to keep track @_@ There is a line system for cars which they will have cars line up along the street and flag them in when there's space in their lot. This last trip probably took only 10 minutes to get out. Super grateful for recycling businesses like these. They've also changed their strictness of separating the glass and plastics by color - doesn't seem like you need to do that anymore, so separating by material is good enough fortunately. They also take wine bottles again, so that's great!
