A good tree trimmer and cleaner envisions how the trees will grow back and how that will impact your maintenance, views, and charm of your home and yard. I can say that Wild Oak Tree service did all of that AND ensured that my yard was properly trimmed and cleaned up afterwards. They did excellent and timely work and highly recommend them to everyone. With all the rain this year and rapid growth, I look forward to requiring their services again :D Thanks much team! Chad

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Wild Oak Tree Service…read more We hired them to trim trees on our property, and during the work their crew damaged our fence. Accidents happen, and we would have been completely understanding if they had simply taken responsibility and fixed the damage. Instead, the most frustrating part of this experience has been what happened afterward. We have repeatedly contacted the company and given them multiple opportunities to come back and repair the fence. We have been told it would be addressed, followed up multiple times, and continued to get delays and avoidance rather than a resolution. At this point, we have spent far more time chasing them than any customer should have to spend trying to get a contractor to repair damage caused by its own crew. A company's professionalism isn't just about completing the original job -- it's also about how they respond when something goes wrong. Based on our experience, Wild Oak Tree Service has failed badly in that regard. We gave them every reasonable opportunity to make this right before leaving this review. Unfortunately, they have not done so. I would not hire them again and would caution others to think carefully before doing so.

Reed and his team (especially Mike and Andrew) provided excellent landscaping from start to finish…read moreon my complete yard makeover, and did it all within 13 business days. This included sprinklers, new sod, flower beds, shrubs, a fire pit, some xeriscaping, and he even covered lawn/plant care in detail. In general, Reed was very helpful with the overall design, followed that up with great attention to detail, and helped address some of the quirks of my property (low water pressure from the city main line, as one example). He made himself very available throughout the entire process and was a pleasure to do business with. Additional detail - To begin with, he promptly replied to my request for a quote and was out at my property by the following weekend for a walk through. While at my property, we talked about how best to design the yard, nailing down the broad brushstrokes. Within the next few days he provided a full landscape design and an itemized cost breakdown (this was not always easy to get from other landscapers). We further refined the design based on my budget and then secured the start date with a deposit. Just prior to the work starting (within a few days), we confirmed the start date and time, and things moved very efficiently from there. His team, including Mike and Andrew, were great at keeping me informed throughout the process. To wrap up - I highly recommend Reed and Austin Native Landscaping. Very easy to work with and supremely capable landscapers.

This is a job that…read morewe have done about every three years and our regular yard people were not available this year, so I called Austinscapes. I talked to Paul in the office, who arranged for his outside guy, Mo, to come out and do an estimate. Everyone was pleasant to deal with and the price was reasonable -- about the same as what we had been paying. They get 1/2 up front and then 1/2 on completion. In just a few days, a dump truck from Whittlesey put the 12 yards of mulch on our driveway. A couple guys from Austinscapes were there that afternoon and by mid-day the next day, they had it all done. Turned out to be a perfect estimate on the amount of mulch needed and took less time to get done than I would have thought. They cleaned up nicely. What's not to like?

This year, his Valentine's gift was Northwest Lawn Service. We originally requested just the leaves but ended up needing the whole lawn mowed because, well, we let it get a wee bit out of hand over the months (there were several weeds the height of small children in the backyard...eep!). Paul was not only super kind and easy to work with but his team was AMAZING!! In a mere 2.5/3 hours, they did the amount of work that would have taken us several backbreaking weekends. Not to mention, they even trimmed our hedges and did some edging work which really put the cherry on the cake. My boyfriend was like a kid in a candy shop, racing around to all of our windows to watch in amazement as they transformed our sad-looking yard into a modern-day Eden while I basked in the glory of this great decision (and my fortuitous situation of finding these guys). Also, the price was AWESOME. Paul cut us a very affordable deal where other services would have charged a fortune for such a beautiful and perfectly executed job. Our neighbors are green with envy and I'm not complaining. Can't wait to give these guys a call next year!
