I had a cheeseburger with fries and a drink and it was almost $14.00. The hamburger patty was smaller than the bun and that was the smallest bun I've ever seen. The birthday presentation of a free ice cream cone was just the icing on the cake. We probably visited with 3-4 employees during our lunch, and each were wonderful representatives of the company. A place that's here I would guess at least 2 (probably more) years without a review should tell you they do things right. First they are quick. Call in an order they say 10 mins you get there in 10 and they are usually boxing it up hot out of the fryer. Yea lots of fried food. Can be done quick and it's good. Burgers are good. They remind me of the old walk up window daisy queen type burger. Wings. Fantastic and the Buffalo sauce is perfect on them. Chicken strips. My gosh they are big and juicy. Perfect to dip in some ranch or hot sauce. Catfish is good. Decent size filet. Yeah I've been here a few times. Family loves them. No frills dining area.Diner like. Some booths and some condiments on the table. Gets the job done. Lunch specials for 7.99 yes please. Especially 3 of those big chicken strips. Orders are also accurate. I have 1 time where I got a bonus okra and I know someone missed theirs. It does happen. But they gonna have it right 99% of the time. Go here for wings. Go here for strips. Get the catfish and shrimp. Heck try it all.

I was greeted by the counter staff as soon as I entered the front door. This location is sparkly clean with lots and lots of seating in a style reminiscent of a 50's diner, including old timey photos of the founding family. My double burger combo with American cheese, all you can eat fresh cut fries and a fountain drink was a little under $16. These days that's a bargain- and because they serve you fries BEFORE your burger hits your table, I couldn't even finish my double cheeseburger. My burger arrived hot and juicy and I needed to let 'er cool off a bit before attempting a bite. Lots of juice in this burger and it's well seasoned with salt and black pepper. Top offs of fries were offered regularly to which I had to decline. David's also sells beef, such as steaks, roasts and mixed boxes of beef and cuts of chicken at a very reasonable price supposedly sourced in Arkansas. I purchased six chuck-eye steaks at $9.85/lb which is $3 a pound lower than even Walmart!
