It seems one would realize that trying to sell something you might want to take the initiative to make it presentable to a perspective buyer. First impressions are quite powerful. We liked the coach and floor plan but couldn't get past the filth. The salesman was also a little pushy trying to get a commitment and deposit. After considering the pros and cons we walked away. We went elsewhere and did find a motorhome that fit us perfectly, made the purchase and are very happy campers. Buyer beware, pay attention and don't be pressured.

My brother negotiated and signed a contract with them for the trade and sale of RV/trailer. Everyone agreed to the terms, paperwork was signed, title was transferred, and loan had been initiated. However, after the fact, management decided the deal was "no longer good for them" and simply cancelled it. Their idea of "honoring" a signed contract was to walk away from their word entirely while wrongfully holding the title to his original RV. In addition it took my brother two weeks to try to get the loan cancelled for the new trailer since the dealership cancelled the sale. To make matters worse, their communication through this ordeal was incredibly poor. They created this entire mess and their solution was to cancel it when my brother wanted them to honor the contract. If a business cannot respect its own signed contracts or communicate honestly with its customers, they do not deserve your business. Avoid this place at all costs.

And when they did finally call me back I was given two options that was all in their favor. The lack of transparency and follow-up left me frustrated and confused throughout the process. Customer service was, in my opinion, among the worst I have ever experienced. Instead of working to resolve concerns professionally, I felt ignored and left without clear answers. It seems you take your Motor HOME in for one thing and something gets messed up or returned with the inside dirty. HOWEVER, at Demontrond, recently there has been a CHANGE IN ATTITUDE with new management. We recently had our 2013 Palazzo at Demontrond service location at 12,600 Kukendahl Rd in Houston. We had Doug McCasland (service manager) and Jim as a service advisor who really cared. Though it took a little longer than we hoped, due to parts needed, when we picked it up it was perfect and clean inside. Doug has made a big change in the attitude of service techs, by mentoring those under him. Doug cares as he knows the customer has an investment and they need to take care of the RV as if it was their own. Doug kept us informed along the way and reviewed repairs with everyone who had a part in the repairs, answering a question or a little expert training was done. With the management change and Doug's mentoring his team, they will change the RV Service industry for the better, at least at Demontrond. It is time that RV service take upon themselves to take care of the RV and customer care experience in the forefront as we have seen at Demontrond with Doug at the helm.
