We had a very disappointing experience with this plumbing company. We paid $500 for a sewer…read moreinspection and video on a home we are currently under contract to purchase. We waited about a week just to receive a rough estimate, which came in around $10,000 ( not a small job). Given the size of the project and the fact that we are working with a mortgage company on a rehab loan, we requested a detailed written bid outlining the scope of work and costs. Initially, we were told this would be provided within a few days. However, we were later informed that we would need to pay an additional $500 just for them to return to the property and prepare a detailed estimate. This would bring our total to over $1,000 without any actual repair work being completed. When we questioned this and asked if they were interested in taking on the job, we did not receive a clear answer. For a project of this size, transparency and communication are critical. Charging such a high additional fee simply to provide a detailed bid--especially after already paying for an inspection--feels unreasonable and discouraging. Unfortunately, this experience has led us to look elsewhere for a company that is more straightforward.
