We recently purchased a pre-owned Buick Encore GX from Hill Buick GMC and had a fantastic experience working with Mike Townsend. He was responsive, straightforward, and made the entire process seamless and painless from start to finish. Mike was great to work with on our trade-in value and we really appreciated that there was no typical sales pitch -- just honest communication and excellent service throughout. He made what can sometimes be a stressful process feel easy and comfortable. If you're looking for a smooth, stress-free car buying experience, we would absolutely recommend working with Mike Townsend. We're very happy with our Buick Encore GX and truly appreciate how easy Mike made the entire experience. read more

came in to look at the car and negotiate price but once I said my price the sales and I'm assuming manager started getting annoyed while the manager was laughing no counter offer just "fuck I wish you would've told me this before we did everything" great job lovely place to do business. the sales name is Steven W. read more

This is the absolute worst dealership to work with. They sell luxury cars with the worst customer service I have ever seen. Extremely arrogant and incompetent employees and managers especially Mark, Stuart and Mike. The way they talk to customers is extremely condescending and unacceptable. I would never ever recommend anyone to buy a car from here. This is a total joke of a company. I recommend the cars but go elsewhere for a dealership! read more

This place deserves zero stars - Their Buick service department, I never witnessed a more unprofessional staff in any type of business in my entire life. The service manager, tech and even cashier were sarcastic, demeaning to women and outright rude! I had my other vehicle serviced at their Cadillac sister store and had great service. It's hard to believe the stark difference in culture between the two Companies I won't be back to Hill, there are plenty of options for sales and service without the attitude and rudeness of their staff. I'm also writing to GM based upon their lack of professionalism. Mary Barra needs to know what people like this are doing to the Buick / GM brand. Do yourself a favor and move past this establishment! read more

This car was repaired at Hill Buick GMC in May for a front engine gasket, a big job. I purchased the car from another dealer shortly after the repair. Fast forward to 2 weeks ago. My mechanic while doing an oil change tells me that I have a oil leak in the front engine gasket! I take to local Buick dealer for repair and GM wouldn't pay them because they paid for the repair in May. I called Hill Buick and talk to the service manager. I ask him to call my local dealer and work out how this repair will be made. He tells me no I have to bring the car to Hill. Hill is in Newtown Square, PA, I am in NJ. It's 25 miles away. So I had to shlep 25 miles to Hill. Customer service was not served. If I was 10 miles away, I could understand. But 25 MILES?? Repair was made for the 2nd time and so far so good. Hopefully I never have to use these guys again. read more

I took my 2019 Terrain for an oil leak my mechanic spotted on a routine oil change and the first 2 times they could not spot the leak the third time they claimed to have fixed it and the fourth time they "Finally fixed it " 4 times I have 11 leases payments left can't wait to move on to another brand! read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. My husband and I just bought a 2020 enclave that needed a few warranty things fixed on the car. We've now had the car in the shop not once but twice to get these issues fixed and they are still not fixed. The service department is rude and stuck up. They do not listen to a word you have to say and do half ass work. Among the small cosmetic warranty issues we needed fixed we also have had an issue with our breaks and each time we were explicit that the breaks are grinding and they need to take off all the wheels and inspect it. BOTH times after being extremely clear they refused to take the tires off and look at what might be causing those issues. Instead they just say "we can't duplicate the issue." Even though we told them it's happening. Avoid this place like the plague I've honestly never had a worst experience then I have had at this dealership absolutely horrible customer service everyone is arrogant and rude and couldn't give two shits. I hope there isn't permanent damage to our breaks or rotor due to their blatant neglect and disregard. Just don't come here, ever. read more

I took my car in for service and magically the check engine light came on right when the dealer staff pulled the car in for service. It had not been on previously. The time before they also came up with something wrong just to upsell me in service. I will not be going back to Hill anytime soon. All the service changes started after the sale to the new owner. read more

Customer service is dead! I bought new bulbs for my headlights on my 11' Buick Regal but I could not install one of them because I couldn't get my fit hand into the housing far enough to remove the protective cover on the drivers side. So I called O'Reilly's service department to ask if they could help me remove the cover so I could install the new headlight... it's a task that would take mere seconds to do with a pair of pliers. However, their response was "we don't help people with their own repairs". I told them it would just take a few seconds to do, but they refused. "Sorry, we don't do that kind of thing" they said. Seriously!? All I wanted to do was install a new headlight (myself I might add) and I just needed help removing the old bulb. It was such a jerk move, I'll definitely be taking my future service requirements elsewhere. read more

I had a 2014 Jeep I traded in for a 2015 terrain! I had the best experience working with Steve Wadlin and Mark Robinson. My mom also traded her car in the same day and we couldn't have asked for better people to work with. I wanted a specific car and they did everything possible to locate the car! I had to wait a few days but it was so worth it!! Thanks O'Reilly for the excellent service!! read more

Hill Buick GMC - My new car and my moms! We love them - Auto Repair Near Me - Newtown Square, Pennsylvania

Visited the facility to purchase a new Yukon. When I first walked in, stood at door for a bit waiting for service. It was like I had 20 pizzas and no one wanted to pay the bill. "Salesperson" who finally came over was very non-Chaka the. Never asked my name, my contact info the entire time there. Immediately noted that " they don't do dealer trades" but told me I could "build my car" at home online and bring it back for him to order. In other wards, do his damn job so he could get credit. What a horrible experience. Obviously, sales were good because he did not give a rats behind. Not only did he lose this sale (yes, bought somewhere else for cash) but any future consideration went out the window. To be fair, it is not the only dealership that had the same issues in this area. read more

Let me first start off by saying that I did A LOT of research and also did A LOT of dealership visits before going to GMC. Long story short, it only took one visit to O'Reilly for them to earn my business due to their quality of vehicle, and service during the sales process. I arrived one fine Wednesday morning and was greeted by Bruce Casinelli, a sales representative that has been with Buick/Gmc for as long as I've been alive. I can say with complete certainty that Bruce made me feel as if I was shopping, as opposed to "being sold" during this process. I am in sales myself and can relate to the desire to close deals as quick as possible, however Bruce treated me as if my sale was secondary to my overall desire to find the perfect car that fit my exact needs. I would highly recommend visiting O'Reilly, and I would go as far as saying the following: Request a visit with Bruce to help you get into the vehicle of your dreams. You will not be disappointed. -Brett, GMC 2500HD read more

I purchased a new Buick using Buick's Shop.Click.Drive web site on 12/31, and was that day was called by the dealership to confirm my purchase and appointment on 1/2/17. Arrived at O'Reilly Buick at the scheduled time, and the staff literally had no idea why I'd appeared, or where the car was. I had arrived with printouts and screenshots of the transaction, and by guiding them for a half hour, the sad truth emerged: the car had been sold weeks previously. Not wanting to let a year-end qualifying sale slip away, the underqualified salesman who became my handler, tried to sell me a costlier version. Its paperwork showed it had been eating space on the lot since July 2016, and when we entered it for a test drive, had all of 23 miles on it - clearly, no interest had been shown for months, and O'Reilly had every reason to move this metal ASAP. Yet the same management that had completely f'ed the earlier transaction would not close the price gap, insisting the unwanted sunroof would bring a guaranteed $1.5K value at trade-in. Yep. In summary, this dealership screwed up royally and, with a chance to make it right in a win-win for customer and dealer, fell flat on its face. read more

First of all I hate buying cars, I find it very stressful, and draining. I decided to purchase a new GMC Terrain, and wanted to drive one. I made an appointment, and went to O'Reilly where I was greeted by Mark Robinson, and Jay Meaney, after I told them what I was looking for, I was turned over to Jay, he put me in a Terrain and we went for a ride. I thought I was taking a ride with an old friend. He went over the operation of the car with me, and after going back to the dealership, we worked out a deal. There was no pressure at all. I traded my old car, and I bought the Terrain. I also have to say that the paperwork with Stuart Krechmer was a breeze, with no surprises, and no pressure. It was a great experience. A great group of people, and a great place to do business. they deserve better than 5 stars. O'Reilly Rocks!!! read more

Excellent sales team. I leased a GMC from here and the agent I worked with was very honest and listened to my needs and budget. The service; however, is not the greatest. I had to bring my vehicle in for a state inspection and they were pushy and rude. I will take my service elsewhere. read more

I was very disappointed in the treatment I received at O'Reilly's Buick/GMC. Initially, I spoke to a very pleasant woman named Susan Pipari who impressed me with her confidence about the service of her dealership. I also heard from Erika Loggins so I guess this is the way dealerships do business as both seemed intent on getting me to visit. Upon arriving for my set appointment with Susan, I was told that a young man named Dan would be taking care of me. This bait and switch scenario is now common practice with dealerships but it became obvious to me that Dan had little information as to what I was looking for. So here's the problem. As I disclosed over the phone with Susan, I hate sitting around waiting at dealerships as they attempt to wear you out under the façade of getting you the best deal. It is a common practice. To avoid this hassle I gave the keys to my trade in to the general manager Ken so that I could have a price on the trade in once I returned. I fully expected to purchase a car that day. After test driving two vehicles I returned to see what the offer would be on my car. Therefore, I am sitting and waiting while the sales guy attempts to make small talk with me. He had only worked there for two weeks and was right out of college. After about a 15 minute wait, I told the salesperson that they already had my email address and cell phone number and to simply email me the offer so that I could get on with the rest of my day. As I am in my car attempting to leave the manager Ken comes out and says to me "what's the problem?" I told him there wasn't a problem but that I didn't want to wait but he could email me the offer for my car. He yells at me that he has the offer right there but that I didn't give him enough time. I stated that he had plenty of time to appraise my trade in while I was test-driving the vehicles. He turned and walked away muttering something in disgust. Perhaps this dealership is great for buyers who enjoy playing the game of purchasing a vehicle. If you are looking for mature, professional, and honest people to do business with then this is not the dealership for you. I have not heard from them since and I doubt I will hear from them again. They don't have a clue about building relationships as they are clearly transactional in their culture. Check out Car Gurus.com and you will also see that they are historically overpriced. read more

I agree with Matt D.'s review from 3/2014 and Glenn D.'s review from 11/2014 . They have not changed at all and are probably worse. The entire dealership has problems both in service, sales staff and sales management. We leased a 2013 Buick Lacrosse and, fortunately, the car was the only good thing that came out of the "Buick Experience". The salesman misrepresented the Excess Wear feature of the lease saying "Buick doesn't nickel and dime you" for little dings. He never showed us the applicable provision on the lease document nor told us about what really happens when you turn in the car. And what car after 2 years hasn't had a ding from another car door in a parking lot? Then, much to our surprise, before the car is due back you get an end of lease "package" with instructions and with a template with a quarter-sized opening. Anything bigger than the quarter sized opening is chargeable. When I returned the car, and discussed it with the General Sales Manager, he too mislead me saying "if you do get a bill, you can negotiate it". He forgot to tell me whatever balance wasn't paid to the bank (Ally, the successor to GMAC) will appear on your credit reports as an unpaid debt. Stay awy from these guys! Find another dealer. read more

I told them what I wanted and they were able to deliver. I did try another dealer and they wouldn't show me how they arrived at the monthly payment and it made me uncomfortable. My sales rep Dave was up front from day 1 and even came in on his day off to accommodate my schedule! read more

Steve Waldin was fantastic! Got me a great deal, was super friendly and knew the answer to every one of my questions. Even found me another offer from GMC after we had talked numbers earlier that day. Texted me that night and made my evening! By the next day he had me fully approved and the car I wanted came in on the delivery truck. Such a smooth transaction. Stuart Krechmer took care of all the financing and explained everything in detail that was easy to understand, which is outstanding because the lending process can be scary and overwhelming with all the numbers. This is a fantastic dealership with amazing people working there! I will be back to get my next car for sure! AND will (and have already) recommend them to everyone I meet. :) read more

I leased a 2017 Acadia from them. The business manager, Stuart Krechmer, messed up the registration paperwork and did not include the credit for my lease turn-in at a cost to me of almost $900. When I spoke to Stuart he actually yelled at me so I asked to speak to the General Mgr, Ken Kovach. Several days passed and I heard nothing from Ken so I sent him an email asking to be called. Still no call from him so I texted my salesperson, Dave Crawford, and asked him to have the owner Bryan O'Reilly call me. Dave's initial response was "Bryan is not getting involved". When I replied back "Is that what Bryan said?" he changed his tune and said Bryan would call me that Friday. Guess what, Bryan never called me. I finally reached out to Bryan myself and got a call back. He told me that he "had to back his managers on this one" and asked how was Stuart supposed to know about the credit. I said the same way he knew to charge the sales tax, it's on the State's website. That went over his head and he proceeded to tell me it was my responsibility even though the State's website says that "the dealership normally processes" this. Bottom line is the business manager is incompetent, the General Manager is a liar (he told Bryan that he had called me) and the owner will not take responsibility when his staff makes a mistake. In the future I will probably take my business to Granite Run Buick/GMC, they have won awards for their customer service, I now know why O'Reilly has not. read more

Buying a car is never fun except for the part where you get to drive the car, right? I still wouldn't call my experience with O'Reilly "fun", but it was so much more pleasant than previous dealerships that we've dealt with. My husband and I walked into O'Reilly with the intent of test driving a used car that we had found online just to see if we liked that make and model. Jay was a great salesman, taking his time to explain the car but never pressuring us to look at a new car or something out of our price range. My husband did the financial negotiating, which was similar to that of any car dealership, but we walked out with the car we loved at a monthly payment that we could afford. read more

Fabulous service! The back door of our Cadillac was jammed and couldn't shut. Naturally we went to the Cadillac dealer at 5:50pm...they close at 6pm. They man at the desk said there was no one there that could help. He wouldn't even come out to look. We stayed in the parking lot to try and fix it ourselves. We tried, but no such luck. Luckily the guy from Cadillac came out! He pulled behind our car and stopped, thinking he was going to help...oh no, our door was open and he couldn't drive by. But he managed to get by, don't worry! From there were decided to go here & it looked closed but luckily Roy was staying after and made himself available to help. He came out and was able to fix the door. A small fix, but he took the time to come out and help even when he didn't need to at all. The place we bought the car from wouldn't even do that. Roy is a blessing and deserves to be recognized. I made an appt for oil change and control panel check at 7:30. Which was under warranty to all be free when I booked it. When I got there I was told no way not free because I'm 2000 miles over warrenty (but wasn't when I scheduled) I also was told it would take 1-1.5 hours, so I decided to wait and head to work right after; which I told the lady I booked it with and the men at the service area when I got there. At 9:50 they told me they are going to get me the new software for my control panel BUT they do not have the flash drive they need to do it so it would take another hour. At 10:20 (30 mins later) I go and ask about how much longer, since it was already almost 3 hours. They said "oh it could be awhile" so I asked how long exactly is awhile and they said "like 2 hours" from me waiting 30 mins already when they said 1 hour total. IF THEY WERE JUST HONEST FROM THE START THAT IT WOULD TAKE OVER 5 HOURS I WOULD HAVE PLANNED ACCORDINGLY!!!! They offered rental car but it wasn't until I had be waiting 3.5 hours. I would have just taken the rental at 7:30 am. They did not respect that I have to go to work just as they had to work. It is currently 12:40 and I am still waiting for my car. They were very vague about everything, and I felt taken advantage of, manipulated and I definitely will not be coming back to this location for service. I've dealt with the sales team here, they are good. My family bought a couple cars from Bruce, who is a good salesman; I would deal with him again. read more
