We had a list of things we needed done in our new home and putting up an arbor (pergola) in the backyard was one of them. Many phone calls later in addition to a few guys coming out to bid on the job, finally Peter gave us a quote, which was an extremely fair price and he said he could do it for us. Instead of a week or more that others said it would take to finish the arbor, Peter said he would have it done in 2 days and he did! When he gave the quote for the job, he wrote it out with 3 different choices of wood and the price for each for us to choose from. He showed up on time when he said he would, worked solid for 2 days and finished when he said he would, the whole time being very professional, polite and friendly. The quality of his work is outstanding. It looks great, it's very sturdy and you can see the pride and time he spent building this for us, just like he was building it in his own yard. He provided some suggestions that we could take care of on our own, and he provided a quotation for what he thought needed to be fixed in the near term. Going above and beyond: there was a hole in a duct cover which was left by a tenant working on the rooftop, and John went ahead and patched up the hole right there on the spot.
