Both times and all communications before the big day was good. Fast forward the week of the wedding. Here comes in Tammy to fill in for John because he had a family emergency. I'm not sure how much was communicated between the two. On day of the wedding, I noticed it was already 1pm and there was no signs of the caterers. Not one call giving a heads up that they were running late. At our walk thru, John said he would be arriving at 11:30/12pm. Eventually they did show up. I was told by guests that the food was good. I was called the next day by the venue director that Graystone had left grease and oil stains all over their property!!! I have video and photos to show the mess and damages they left behind. They did not lay down tarps in all of the areas they were at. I also have some of their linen napkins which tells me their staff didn't bus the tables like stated. I was told by wedding coordinators and venue management that they did a poor job at cleaning and respecting the property. John had reassured me that he leaves the property cleaner than what it was. Tammy and the staff that night were the opposite. Anyways, I got left with a damage and cleaning bill from the venue from their mess. I've been trying to reach out to John since the wedding and crickets! Very disappointed in their promised Service. John and Tammy if you are reading this - give us a call and make it right.

The servers (Natalie, Kaylie and Hunter) were attentive to our needs and interacted beautifully with our guests. We did hot and cold appetizer buffets and their now famous (trust me on this one) Mashed Potato and Mac 'N Cheese "Martini" Station. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing and far below what we had agreed upon. In our planning discussions we specifically arranged for boneless light and dark meat chicken. Instead, what was served were chicken legs and thighs on the bone. This was not what we contracted for. We also arranged for charcuterie to be available to guests as they arrived. Guests had been traveling and were hungry, but instead of being welcomed to the food, they were prevented from taking anything. The presentation itself was also disappointing -- it appeared to consist of store-bought packages (similar to Costco items) simply opened and placed on a platter. Another issue was timing and organization. When guests arrived, Michelle was still setting up. For a wedding reception this size, that level of preparation felt very unprofessional. We paid for an additional service attendant to help with food service, yet the overall service was still disorganized and slow. One additional dish we added ended up being essentially a cold lemon spaghetti salad, which was not what we expected from a catered wedding meal. There were also several service items that had been discussed in advance that did not happen. Michelle was supposed to personally serve the bride and groom and assist with cake cutting and serving, but neither occurred. For a final bill approaching $6,000, we expected a far higher level of professionalism, preparation, and service.
