Your Physical Therapist, who works with you on rehabbing your injury and their PT Aide, who works your muscle Reps, uses iPads and track your progress, always keeping you on track. Nice. The business model for PTs have evolved over the years. Today, you get 25 mins of 1X1 time with your individual therapist, in my case Emily who is fantastic. While you share an Aide for the remainder of your visit and who will Ice you down afterwards. I've met nothing but friendly nice talented folk here over my first four weeks of rehab for my new hip. I debated on leaving this review but I think it's important for others to know…read more My daughter recently had an ST eval at Kaiser with subsequent orders for treatment. This evaluation occurred mid November. During this eval, we chose Lucid since they had afternoon availability. The location was also close to my daughter's daycare and husband's job. On Kaiser's end, the treatment was authorized within two days and sent over to Lucid. I figured with the holiday there would be a delay but I never received a call from Lucid to schedule. I finally called Kaiser's outside referral department to see if there was indeed an authorization letter (this never populated in my daughter's Kaiser account), found out that it's been authorized and sent over to Lucid since 11/14. Suddenly the same day I called Kaiser, I get a call from Lucid to schedule. Mind you, this call took place on 12/18...over a month later! Of course now there is only morning availability and the overall delay said enough about how they operate. I work in healthcare, outpatient services get away with things like this. Let this happen in an inpatient setting and you immediately get in trouble for delay in treatment.

I hope that something is done to enlighten the mood of the front desk assistant and make the overall welcome at the office feel positive for everyone checking in. Rachel Troccoli is an amazing speech therapist! Our daughter had difficulty speaking from early on;…read morewe had her in speech therapy (with a speech therapist recommended by our pediatrician) for more than 3 months, with zero progress. Our daughter was diagnosed with apraxia, and was considered non-verbal. We did our research, found Rachel, and were lucky enough to get a spot on her busy schedule. Rachel has an incredible speech therapy toolbox (including that she is one of the few PROMPT-trained speech therapists in Southern California). Within several weeks our daughter was initiating short independent phrases. We were overjoyed! From there, Rachel guided her development, and her speech and language exploded. In less than a year our daughter went from completely non-verbal to a non-stop chatterbox! Quite simply, Rachel taught our daughter to talk. We have had a number of assessments done, and Rachel's are by far the most comprehensive and thoughtful. Her calling is surely pediatrics, and kids with developmental delays. She is a natural at handling kids with problem behaviors, and at motivating children who are less than attentive. We cannot say enough good things about Rachel's demeanor, her compassion, her thoughtful and creative approaches, and her ability to communicate to parents and other professionals how to best help your child. 6 stars!

RACHEL specifically, 50 minute sessions for her to play with my child? No thanks. Our last session, she came out annoyed saying how hyper my child was. I had 2 rude comments thrown at me and at the end, to try and "teach" my child to sit while grownups are talking, she holds my child down while she was screaming and crying for help and as I'm trying to intervene and take my daughter, she tells me "no this is why she doesn't listen. It's the only way she will learn". I can only imagine what happened behind closed doors. Stay far away from this place!

I've never come to a therapy center and seen a child without clothes on.

Nick and Amelia have both provided kind and knowledgeable assistance to the therapist. Nick (PT) has been a great help to me. I am feeling much better. I can do the same exercises at home, which has helped me to get moving again and back to normal. The office is clean and I see various staff keeping things wiped down throughout the time I am there. As soon as someone leaves a station, someone comes along to wipe down the surface and the floor.
