When they did show up at 5:30 the person who was trying to move my stuff did not even know what company contracted him. It was one man and his underage son with a rental van who did not properly know how to wrap furniture. I had already found another group of last minute professional movers so I canceled their service right away. Please use another moving company.

Even years later, they were just as amazing to work with as I remembered. The owner, Eddie, is genuinely one of the nicest and most understanding people. I was dealing with so much uncertainty surrounding the repairs at my apartment and didn't always know exactly when I would need to move out or when I would be able to move back in. Eddie was incredibly flexible, patient, and worked with me every step of the way. I was already dealing with a very stressful situation and difficult people at my apartment complex while trying to get all of the damage handled, and I can confidently say that moving my apartment out and then back in was the ONE thing I did not have to stress about. Radical Movers took care of everything and made the entire process such a breeze. The crew was professional, efficient, and careful with my belongings. They were also incredibly patient with me while moving everything out, as I had to stop along the way to document and take pictures of some of my furniture that had been damaged from the flood. They never made me feel rushed and were completely understanding of the situation, which I really appreciated. They even completely disassembled my large, heavy wooden bunk bed for the move and then put it all back together when we moved back into the apartment. They truly handled everything and made an already overwhelming situation so much easier. It says a lot that after knowing this company professionally years ago and then finally needing their services personally, I can recommend them even more now. Thank you so much to Eddie and the entire Radical Movers team. I truly cannot recommend them enough!

As I'm leaving my one bedroom in storage for a few months, I feel my items are in good hands. Enrique, the owner, was fantastic in terms of response time, quote delivery, and answering any questions we had. Reasonable rates, do a great job, and were very friendly the entire time they were there. Would love to hire again for future move.

Moving day was made far easier with the best moving team, "Bay, Garcia and Nahun." We were so fortunate to have had their help and muscles. Bay's communication keeping the move on time was outstanding. Upon arriving at the "Public Storage" facility at Seven Corners in Virginia, my daughter and this patient moving team were welcomed by a serious issue not previously disclosed. The elevator was out of service, and the storage unit was on the third floor. The gentleman could have requested a reschedule right then, but no. The BoxStar Super Stars jumped into action. They moved my daughters one-bedroom apartment out of the storage unit and into their truck in record time, including a very heavy sleeper sofa, down three flight of stairs in a narrow stairwell. From the storage unit, they moved her belongings into her house, placing every piece of furniture with expert care. We estimated a three house move time and despite the elevator snafu, Bay, Garcia, and Nahun delivered on time. Working with BoxStar Movers was perfect. The whole BoxStar team is absolutely wonder, polite, kind, and so many great words to describe them. Thank you all.

The items were mainly consolidated into main areas, anticipating that it would make it easier for the moving crew to quickly pack and move the items to the trailer. This is something I would expect from college kids who have zero experience as you get charged every foot horizontally you take up in cross country moves. So now, not only are we out $2300 for these movers, we are out an extra 3k because they used twice the amount of space that was actually needed if they had done it correctly. I don't usually take the time to write reviews, but I genuinely felt this one was well-deserved. I…read morerecently used Haul Bros Moving Co. for my move from a 2-bedroom condo in Alexandria to a single-family home in Burke, and I can honestly say it was the smoothest move I've ever had. l've moved 4 times in the last 7 years, and I've worked with both large national companies and smaller local ones, and these guys really stood out. I found Haul Bros through a recommendation in a local Facebook group. I was hesitant at first since I hadn't heard of them before, but from the first interaction, I felt at ease. Sayed, the owner, was very professional and responsive. He answered all my questions, gave me a clear estimate based on the inventory I sent, and didn't try to upsell me or rush the process. He even followed up the day before the move to confirm everything and offered advice on how to prep items to save time. The crew arrived right on time at 8:00 AM, wearing branded shirts and ready to go. I was immediately impressed by how organized they were. They walked through the house with me first, asked thoughtful questions, and then got straight to work. They brought everything they needed-moving blankets, dollies, tools, shrink wrap, you name it One of the guys even brought an extra mattress cover for me since I didn't have one. That attention to detail meant a lot. They were incredibly careful with my furniture. I had a few delicate items like a large mirror from my grandmother, and a glass coffee table and they were wrapped and secured better than I've seen with any other movers. Not a single scratch or ding. They also handled my washer and dryer (which I was nervous about), disassembled them carefully, and reinstalled them at the new place. What really stood out was how hardworking and respectful the team was. No standing around, no cutting corners, and no bad attitudes. They worked steadily the whole time, even when it started drizzling in the afternoon. They laid down runners to protect the floors, helped with last-minute items I forgot to pack, and asked me multiple times if there was anything else they could do to help. They even helped move a few items into my garage that weren't part of the original list-at no extra charge. Once we got to my new place, they reassembled everything, placed furniture exactly where I wanted it, and double checked that everything was good before leaving. The whole move took just under 6 hours, and the final price was right in line with the original estimate. No hidden fees, no surprises-just honest, quality service. To be honest, I was expecting the usual moving day stress, but Haul Bros completely changed that experience for me. They were reliable, professional, affordable, and kind. You can tell this company is run by people who actually care about their work and their customers. If you're reading this and thinking about which moving company to go with this is the one. I already recommended them to two of my coworkers and will absolutely be using them again if I ever need to move. Thank you, Sayed and the Haul Bros team, for making a stressful process so much easier. You've definitely earned a lifelong customer.
