This office tried to charge me $50 for a cleaning when my insurance covered the whole thing. I ended up canceling my appointment.

I do not like going to the dentist. But everyone at Highland's Dentists made it comfortable and painless. I will return.

Best dental experience I've had. Have been going here 5+ years…read more They are always professional, polite, and knowledgeable about all things dentistry. They treat each other with respect, as well as their patients. They are on top of all insurance questions. I have referred several people here because I know they know their stuff. Thank you Highland Smiles, so great to have you close by!

I haven't had issues with my teeth or had any issues with different dentists, but since I've…read morestarted seeing them I feel like I've been getting recommendations to do more work than probably is necessary since I've taken very good care of my dental health. They charged me over 500 dollars to get a mouth guard (since I grind at night which is true) that I lost shortly after getting it and tried to get them to make me a replacement immediately after I lost it at a work trip and they said it wouldn't fit and that I would need a whole new set of imprints which is incorrect. I would be skeptical of some of their recommendations. I also had a crown and it did fit correctly and they tried to fit it again and I continued to have pain with my jaw and overall the dentist didn't even come look at personally she just sent me to a specialist and said I "might" need a root canal. Now I might have a unique situation but it doesn't appear that way and this appears to be standard practice so I'll be finding a new dentist. The staff is generally friendly and the office is up to code but, at this point I don't think the dentist has done a competent job and I would not recommend them to any friends or family. Nor do they really seem like they care about the pain my teeth and jaw have been.

I went in a couple of years ago to get a couple spots corrected from some bonding I had had done…read more The office checked and confirmed that my insurance would be accepted prior to my arrival. After an exam and X-rays, I was told that the office had made a mistake, and that my insurance would not be accepted. The dentist then told me that because that was their error, I would not be charged for the services. Fast forward 6 months, I began getting bills and payment demands for the visit. I was told by the office staff that they would look into the issue, and I was never contacted again. Bills kept arriving, and I am still dealing with them. As a person is sales, it is important for me to not only clearly communicate with my customers, but to also ensure that my promises are kept. I would not recommend not because of the dentist or bedside manner, but because the office staff doesn't seem to be able to communicate, properly review and confirm insurance, and keep its promises.

10MAR2025 Highly…read morerecommended. New dentists and really a new practice 1. The latest technology as far as I can tell. My initial exam was very thorough with: x-rays, 3-d imaging, photos, and a chart of pocket problems. Destiny, the hygienist, was excellent with complete explanations of everything. 2. Admin has improved with Apple Pay, emails, texts. Everything is digital. 3. Anis, the dentist, was super friendly.

I've been going here for a few years and absolutely love it. I hated my previous dentist and was…read morerecommended south shore and was just now recommended it to someone else when I noticed there were negative reviews and Im not normally someone to leave reviews but wanted to give my two cents that it's a great dentistry. They take great care of me every time I'm there!

I had fillings done in two rounds, the first about 4 weeks ago and the second 3 weeks ago, and I…read morehave been in severe pain ever since. I have been unable to chew properly on either side. I returned for an adjustment on one side 3 weeks ago, but the experience only made things worse. Not only did the pain get worse after the adjustment, but my pain was completely dismissed and minimized, and the appointment felt extremely rushed. After "adjusting" I was told that the pain was normal and that "you have plenty of teeth left to chew with," even though I was clearly explaining that both sides were hurting and that chewing had become very difficult on both sides. The pain only worsened from there. I spent nearly $1,000 on these fillings, only to lose trust in this office and have to seek care from a different dentist for further adjustment. After adjustment, I am still in pain, and now it appears that one or more fillings may need to be completely redone, which increases the risk of needing more serious treatment like a root canal. Another major issue was that my chart/profile contained incorrect information. When I confronted the office about it, I was told their AI had supposedly "misheard" me. That is not possible, because we never even discussed that information out loud. Being given that kind of excuse instead of a direct acknowledgment and correction was so off-putting. If they cannot keep basic patient information accurate, it raises serious questions about their professionalism and attention to detail. This has been a mortifying experience and a huge waste of money, time, and mental energy. It is incredibly upsetting to pay this much for treatment that caused ongoing pain, then have my concerns brushed off instead of properly addressed. I deeply regret going here and wish I could get a refund. I now understand why this office has so many negative reviews about botched fillings and concerns being dismissed. Based on my experience, those reviews were absolutely accurate. UPDATE- I DO have to get at least one filling completely redone and it's going to cost me 320$ because I do not have any more insurance money left. Mind you, I've already spent another 300 at this new dentist for examining and X-rays.
