Homemade daily thickness of fresh bread grilled to perfection loaded with butter! Drooling! Eggs Benedict was supreme! Bagel egg sandwiches, pancakes, French toast! Wow! Omelets galore. All the road work going on MA 28 was also incentive, as we could get there without traveling on it from where we were staying. We were also told several times to get their grilled breads (if you weren't gluten-free, of course). The complimentary coffee in the waiting area was a nice tough as well. It certainly lived up to the recommendations. We had maybe a 3 minute wait for a table on a busy Friday morning. There were lots of specials on the blackboards on the side wall. Coffee came out quickly; it was piping hot and mellow, with very frequent refills. I did try the bread, an apple-cranberry, grilled/toasted medium with a pat of butter for extra yum. I opted for the hash Benedict with fruit instead of potatoes. I got potatoes by mistake anyway, but they immediately brought over the fruit. The eggs were perfectly cooked, the Hollandaise was flavorful, and the hash was crisp and not greasy at all. Now it's my turn to be a good friend and pass the recommendations forward for others.

I said back that I gave you more than enough service (witha tip more than the 3 freaking plastic cups). I gave $20 for the beer money to the kitchen in that white bucket also!!! (At least the kitchen crew said thank you back). So this is def a way for this place to go out of business!!! I def will not rec this place and will not return ever! I believe that there are plenty of seafood restaurants with much more polite and more worldly and cultures people!!! Not that white male guy lineman or whatever he does in the touching my raw oysters and crab legs I ordered. Yelp is a pretty reputable place for reviews. My #1 place to go when I am looking for food recs. So don't come to cafe if you are persons of color!!!!

What can I not say about this place…read more I came here a year ago based off all you fellow yelper's guidance and you're usually 100% correct. I remembered how great of a breakfast I had, that when I went to the Cape again, I made it a point to come back. The counter waitress is unbelievably friendly. She busts her butt and thank god, because it makes everything special. I ordered the Blueberry Ricotta Pancakes with a side of bacon. The medley of sweetness, saltiness and creaminess from the blueberry sauce made with fresh blueberries, ricotta and pancakes all blended nicely. I felt like every bite was heaven. I probably didn't need the bacon, but it was cooked just how I like it... well done! The waitress never let my coffee mug reach the bottom and she was always smiling. I saw some muffins on the wall and almost took home some cornbread jalapeño ones because they looked divine, but somehow I managed to contain myself. The prices were very reasonable. I would definitely like to come back soon!

The restaurant was quite busy when we arrived, but since we had reservations we were seated right away. Our server was friendly and took the time to walk us through the menu and highlight the nightly specials. In the end, we all decided on the prix fixe menu, which included an appetizer, entrée, and dessert--an excellent value considering the quality and generous portion sizes. After placing our orders, our server returned with our drinks along with a basket of warm rolls and soft butter, a nice touch to start the meal. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, and the interior is surprisingly spacious. From the outside, you'd never guess how large the restaurant actually is. To start, I ordered the short rib and fontina arancini, which were outstanding. The portion was generous--honestly large enough to be a meal on its own. My wife began with the Caesar salad, which was crisp, fresh, and nicely balanced without being overly dressed. For our main course, my wife and I both chose the crab-stuffed sole. It was excellent and, once again, the portion size was impressive. We even had enough leftovers to make another meal the next day. By the end of the meal we were so full that we decided to take our desserts--New York-style cheesecake and tiramisu--home to enjoy later. There's plenty of parking available, and I'd definitely recommend making reservations, especially on busy nights. Overall, it was a great meal with generous portions, friendly service, and a comfortable atmosphere. I'd happily return
