We walked through the petting zoo, there was horses, sheep, goats, roosters, turkeys, pigs, cows, the kids got a kick out of it. We each got a small pumpkin to paint or take home which the kids really enjoyed. They offered horse drawn rides, tractor rides, face painting, story time with mother goose & a corn maze (which was not much of a maze). It is really perfect for kids 2-10. The store offers a selection of breads, pies, jams and produce. They sell ice cream, and had cider donuts available and outside they have a small shack that sells hot dogs, chips, etc. Overall we spent about 2 hours here and really enjoyed it!

Dalby Farm focuses on endangered domestic breeds, so they have some interesting goats, sheep, pigs, chickens, ducks, and geese. No cows though, my little guy was disappointed, but he loved the chicks and the goats. There are some exotic animals--chinchilla rabbits, golden pheasants, and peacocks. Open every Sunday from 11-3 from May-October, there is a small store that sells fresh eggs from the chickens, local honey, goat milk soap, as well as jewelry, t-shirts, gift baskets, and home decor. Group tours can be arranged, as well as birthday parties; the farm is open for smaller tours during events through the spring, summer, and fall.

My friend and I wound up in the overflow a little after 11am when the event started. I've always seen signs around when I'm driving in the area for other events or goods that they are selling. In the fall they seem especially popular as well for pumpkins and fall activities. The market area is brightly lit. Given the neighborhood, as everyone else has commented expect prices to be at a premium. The samples we tried at the Strawberry Festival were tasty. My favorite was the short cake. They also offered tickets at $1/ticket for some other paid offerings such as their ice cream which I skipped. They had someone dressed up as the Green Monster so that was a fun photo op for the family too. The event had a lot of staff so each station was moving. In fact one of the owners/managers came by seeing a long queue near the entrance by the pasta said we could walk around to the other stations since no one should be waiting in a line (ignore the line to park and get in haha.) I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to visit but it's an option for local. I've also gone to Wagon Wheel which is smaller for seasonal / market type items.

We love Taylor Bray farm. It's right off Rt 6A in Yarmouthport. A great walk around with sheep,…read moregoats, highland cows, donkeys, and chickens. There is a boardwalk out into the marsh area with a nest and a great walk through the woods. There's also a community garden on property as well. They offer a fall festival (October), Holiday festival (December) and Sheep festival (June). All free but suggested donation of $5 per person. It's open dawn to dusk and will have monthly open house of their farm house. We love to walk around Taylor Bray farm. On nice days, and during the summer is when it's the busiest. We like to go around feeding time at 5pm: it's less busy and the animals are more active.
