I don't use a dealership for servicing my car, mostly due to the cost. I have been using Tools in…read moreMotion for about 2 years and keep going back for both my vehicles. Pros - Very friendly guys that are enjoyable to work with. - Honest service - always explaining the work required and showing worn parts. - Timely - they always give an accurate estimate of the time your service will be complete. Neutral - I miss the weekend appointments they offered previously, but I think it is great they can do this and have people not need to work weekends. Cons - Seems pretty costly - may not be far removed from the cost of a dealership based shop although I expect they are much more honest.

Due to good reviews in Facebook and Google, I have my SUV repaired there last May due to a coolant…read moreleak and they said the radiator was done and needs to be changed. I paid about $800 for the repair. After just under 2 months, the coolant was leaking again so I took the car back thinking that they'll fix it with minimal charge under warranty. NOT!! They wanted more money and said that the damage this time was unrelated and it will cost me another $300+ to fix it. I declined because I lost my trust to these guys. They still charged me almost $60 for just that. Good luck in your decision if you want to use this shop. They want repeat customers...in a negative way for me at least. No repeat here for sure..and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone I know.

I was stranded, blocking traffic, no cell phone, no one would stop to help (at first) and everyone was getting angry because I was messing up their day. Two nice men from the City Public Works stopped to let me use their phone and help me get out of the middle of the road for traffic to flow better. The Fire Dept had to come to clean up the mess of fuel and I was going to need a tow. Luckily one of the FD crew was mechanically inclined, knew what to look for and reattached the hose. He then recommended I come see the crew at Smart Auto to get them to check and make sure it was all attached properly and nothing was broken. I arrived at Smart Auto and spoke with Greg who had Grant take my vehicle into the bay and check things out. Grant went over it with me, I verified which hose had come off and he confirmed it was all good, it was just not put back on properly after another mechanic had completed some work but it was back in place now. Grant then washed all the excess spilled fuel from the engine compartment, dried it all up and topped up my Coolant for added measure. Above and beyond in my mind! And then they sent me on my way with a "have a great night!" No charge!!! That's unheard of these days! After an extremely stressful day, this was just the thing I needed to happily get through my evening and renew my faith in humanity. There are some pretty wonderful people in this city and I was lucky enough to meet several of them yesterday including Greg and Grant!! Thank you!!

Really very impressed with the service, courtesy, and honesty. Brought my car in for what I…read moreexpected to be a very expensive repair. Was told what I really needed was a much smaller repair, at a fraction of the price. Jay could easily have taken advantage of my ignorance on the matter in order to make more profit for himself, but instead he chose to be honest and save me money. In addition, he went above and beyond by including an extra item that I asked him to look at mid-job, and my price tag was still one fifth what I was originally expecting it to be. I will definitely be back, and would highly recommend this shop to anybody looking for vehicle maintenance. Thanks Jay!!

My car is a Mitsubishi Endeavor 2007 so when my brakes did not work properly I request to Jay an estimation for rear and front brakes they answer to me and I made an appointment. Shortly after I left the car to the shop Jay called me with a good news you have left on your car about 2 years so is not a time to replace them. Honestly I was shocked by Jay's honesty and I ask him to check the brake fluid or some leaks somewhere and he replaced the fluid and charge me labour for one hour. So far so good the car is ok now and I want to thank to Jay and Andreea for their nice job.

Well Scenic View Motors got me in right away for to take a look. After hours drop off was simple and secure. As promised they called me to explain & quote the repair. I was extremely impressed by the service and honesty all the way through the process. The repair was under $200 for the custom exhaust repair that too care of the noises. They also recommended a tune up & had it completed as promised. The entire repair was under $400. I highly recommendation this amazing family run local business!!

I took a car in because of starting problems. I assumed it was the remote starter causing the issues but was told the neutral safety switch went. And, the price is $448 plus an hour to install. Gasp! How much??!! I can buy the part online for about $150. The car has now been in the shop for 6 days but since they DO NOT WORK WEEKENDS, it has only been looked at a few times. I found out that they have not dedicated a tech to it, but have rather used the tech sparingly between other jobs. Not cool guys. Not cool at all. That's a poor business model. I won't be going back there once (or maybe i should use the word IF) they ever get my car done.
