History
Established in 2010.
Higher Standard Cleaning, formerly known as Professionally Clean, was founded in Schenectady, NY, by June Montgomery. June later relocated to New York City, where she continued the family-owned business she and her mother had built, rebranding it as MJ Cleaning Service.
After nine successful years working alongside her mother—who continues to serve senior citizens and retired individuals—June launched a sister company to expand their reach. This new venture, Higher Standard Cleaning, was created to cater specifically to the working and upper-class clientele of the Tri-State area.
June partnered with Alex Simons, a seasoned professional with over sixteen years of experience in the medical cleaning industry. Together, they share a deep passion and commitment to delivering exceptional service. While no two clients are the same, June and Alex are united in their mission: to exceed expectations and provide a consistently high standard of care and cleanliness.
