I'm not sure if I can give a negative or zero stars for this place…read more I went in December of 2019 to get my exam. I have a very weird prescription so I was told 4-6 weeks to get my contacts. A month later I hadn't heard anything so I stopped by since I was in the area. I asked the status of my contacts. The young lady went to the back and couldn't find any contacts. I assume they never got ordered. I was told 4-6 weeks. A month after my previous visit I stop by again. The young lady looks in the back again. She finds one set of contacts ( I have two different prescriptions, one for each eye). She can't find the other set of contacts and says it'll be 4-6 weeks. A month after my previous visit I stop by again. The young lady goes to the back and can't find any contacts. She says it'll be 4-6 weeks. The whole shelter in home thing happens and I'm still without contacts. I call and I'm told to check in at the end of the month. It is over 4 months (not weeks) by now and still no contacts. I ask if I can get a copy of my prescription so I can try somewhere else to see if I can get some contacts. They say they will send my prescription. A week goes by and I haven't got my prescription. I call again and am told they will email the manager. So I'm not sure if it'll be a few more months before I can even get my prescription. I'm not sure how long the prescription is good for so hopefully whoever I can get if I even get my prescription will honor the prescription. I will keep contacting them to see if I ever get a copy of the prescription I have already paid for. I would definitely not recommend this place. There used to be an older gentleman optometrist and an older lady attendant. I wish they were still there.

Received my first pair, felt like my eyes were going cross-eyed because there was something very wrong with the prescription. They checked the glasses with the machine, and told me it "appeared" to be just fine. I kept telling them I am seeing double! They finally took them back and had them sent back - to realize that there really WAS something very wrong in the production of the glasses. Waited so long, many mistakes made, and of course me... I am so patient and understanding. My advice - please get your business in order.

I am my mom's caregiver and I just have to share what I witnessed waiting for the consultation with…read morethe doctor. An elderly patient arrived early for her appointment ( over an hour early). It's 90'f outside and the receptionist said she could not stay in the sparsely occupied waiting room. I just wonder if they would do that to their own children? I'm outraged. Sending an elderly patient into that kind of heat is unacceptable. I thought this was a reputable establishment. Very disappointed.

In April I went to central eye for an early annual contact lens appointment. In hearing about my…read moreneed for reading glasses they recommended I try a different prescription to accommodate up close and far away. At the end of the appointment my normal contact lens prescription was confirmed unchanged from the year prior. The next week I came in for the fitting to try the alternate prescription to accommodate reading up close. Immediately I knew I couldn't do this because I couldn't even see the parking sign out the front window( I drive an aggressive commute to Austin at least 4 round trips a week). So I immediately thanked them but said I'd prefer reading glasses and removed the contacts and put back in my regular ones. They still insisted on a full check up via the tech, then dr. Of those lenses?! I didn't want to be rude but am not sure why as we just went through this the week prior. A few months later now and I ordered and received a bad batch of contacts. My eyes were fine until I tried new box but unfortunately I threw away my last old pair upon opening them. The box resulted in one good contact. Since my eyes have the same prescription I tried it alternatively between eyes- each seeing clearly with the contact. Additionally I see beautifully through my glasses. Instead of allowing me simply to try a different brand of the same prescription (btw, many people have posted same complaints online from this brand recently), I must go in for a third evaluation/full eye exam. I've decided if I should go elsewhere that perhaps I should try a group that is working more with me, rather than insisting on copious and wasteful eye exams.
