So after my blue flame set of nails, I went in again and got another set, it was yellow and they were okay, not my favorite. After my yellow set I got halloween themed, one hand is white and the other is black & i am not enjoying them. The price was reasonable as well. They had a variety of gel colors, not as many as their dipping powder colors, still plenty. I was recommending by a friend who spoke very highly of them. My 1st couple of times there was ok but this last time made it my last time. I go for pedis with designs on just the big toes. They can't do designs unless you get gel nails then those are not very good. I kept trying to pick the simplest designs but they have no one that knows how to do them. They should just go back to the 90s and offer airbrush because they can't do anything Worth the money they charge. read more

The Good: They are open on Sundays and keep to their appointment times. I got a dip manicure and it lasted a full three weeks+ without anything chipping. The Not Good: A dip manicure was $52 before tip which is $12 more than my regular salon and my usual back up salon. The manicurist also said not one word to me and the whole place felt cold and unfriendly. Finally, they filed my nails down way too much and my nails are extremely thin under the dip, which defeats the purpose of that treatment. Verdict: I won't be back. Too expensive, bad atmosphere, basically ruined my nails. read more

I've been to High Tech Nails about 4 times and every time there has been something about the way they treated me. My experience with High Tech Nails was not a good one. I went in for a fill- in with gel polish. The gentleman who did my nails was very stand offish. During the time of him working on my nails, he was more focused on what was going on around him than doing my nails. There is white nail polish on my hand, around my nails, he did not cut my nails underneath shorter and it is very noticeable. The white nail polish looks caked on my nail and an over all very messy job. To be honest, you can tell there was no effort put into my nails. I am not a satisfied customer and they have lost my business. read more

I was initially excited to see that there was finally a nail place close to campus, but I don't think that I will be returning for a pedicure any time soon. I need to get a pedicure about once a month because I'm prone to ingrown nails. Usually the average pedicure/Nail Tech does enough to make my toes comfortable again, but this guy barely even touched my cuticles. He also didn't do the best job taking the old, darker polish off. So I will probably have to go elsewhere in a week or two, which is not great for the college bank account. They did however, have a clean and comfortable store. All of their prices were fair (from what I'm used to). They have an expansive color selection of polish, gel, and dips, and used very nice lotions and scrubs. And the massage was fantastic. I'll probably end up coming back for a manicure or something simply because of the convenience, but will likely be skipping the pedicure. read more

This place is amazing! I am from out of town and came to visit family and thought it would be fun to get our nails done. Came on a Tuesday afternoon and As soon as i entered the store we were greeted with a warm welcome. Staff here are very professional and did a kick ass job painting gel nails. Mine lasted several weeks before showing signs of chipping. This shop looks very new with the latest technology and comfortable seats. Highly recommend visiting. read more

I came to get a no chip mani and regular pedi. At first, I thought everything was fine and normal and reminded me of regular nail salons that I had been to before. However, they didn't use any sanitize tools on me. She just pulled the nippers out of the drawer and started working. Next problem, was that the person that did my manicure filed all my nails on an obvious angle. When I asked her to fix them to just straighten them out a little bit, she made them even more crooked than they were initially. She also filed one of my nails so hard that it split in half. The pedicure seemed to be better, but a few days later I noticed the skin on my feet growing back with little air bubbles almost...due to the grader like file she used. I haven been able to smooth them out still and it's been two whole months. read more

The family is from California and they moved here just for their salon. They are so kind and caring. I got dip and it's lasted me a month already , no chipping or anything! Make sure to ask for them to push back your cuticles. The salon is so clean and so nice , very modern and hip. The prices are great and the environment is lovely. I read the reviews on this place and was very excited because majority of them were great! However, my experience was not the greatest. I went to get acrylics (which I never get, just for school dances) and the guy I had was not very helpful or friendly. Like I said, I normally don't get my nails done so I'm not a regular or know everything. I didn't get his name but he was no help when it came to what design I wanted to do (I just showed him a picture of some french tips and asked to do gold on my ring finger) and just shook it off like he couldn't do it. I didn't say anything but eventually he was able to do the gold. The whole experience was just awkward after that and he just wasn't very personable. I told him that they looked very good after he was done and he just got up without saying anything and walked towards the register. He just seemed annoyed the whole time and I just felt like I was a burden. It was my first time there and unfortunately I won't be going back. I wish I would've had a good experience my first time going there but I just did not. read more

High Tech Nails is the best nail place in town!! It is so welcoming and all the staff are so friendly! It is gorgeous and has a sleek and modern feel. I really like how clean and sanitary it is as well. They had a great selection of colors to choose from. It is in a great location for college students as how close it is to campus. I got a dip manicure and was so impressed! Mike did my nails & is fantastic! He helped me pick out a color & made sure that I had a great overall experience!
