Gives you a ride home if you need it? Yes! Tells you if he's too bizi to do it today? Yes! I picked up the hubs truck upon completion of the work since he was out of town. Got down to the joint and was talking to Larry and his desk guy about my 02' Camry-you see it's at 100K and hasn't had any service to date. Larry gave me some valuable information as I waited to pay the hubs bill. Seems Toyota's have this thing called a timing belt. At 100K you absolutely need to check it....I did not know! (looks like mfg recommends checking it every 60K-wow, I've dodged the bullet) So, any warning the belt's going bye bye-No, no warning and the car will just STOP RUNNING- What? And as it is flying off, it may ruin the valves! Ikes-time to take the Camry in. Thanks Larry for saving me some bucks!

The other company said do not buy the car! The guy who answered the phone at told her to bring it down and they would get to the car first thing in the morning. She dropped off the 2004 Caddy and was greeted by their friendly staff and a Boston terrier named "Bullseye". (We are assuming it's family owned by the puppy and little girl running around) She was surprised there was no fee for the diagnostic and left the car in hopes the damages weren't gonna be high! She got a call the next day basically stating they tried hard to find what the other company was taking about, however the car checked out great! We decided to leave the car another day and have them do a transmission service. I feel this company is more than fair, thorough, and reasonably priced. I would have to recommend them and will return when needed, due to our experience! Thanks for taking care of my wife's "new to her" car guys! Keep up the great work! I'd appreciate an update or a general ETA. This review is not complete as I still don't have any update on my car nor even an estimated cost of repair. I will update my review once the car comes back, but at this point I am losing hope that I will ever get my car back in a timely manner.

I would highly recommend Familia Automotive and owner Klent along with his staff, especially Tim,…read morefor their honesty, patience, and excellent customer service. I have a 2000 Montero Sport, and as anyone with an older vehicle knows, repairs can sometimes come with a few humps and bumps along the way. Klent was very transparent throughout the entire process and even showed me videos explaining the issue with my fuel sending unit/gas gauge problem, which was causing my gas light to come on even when the tank wasn't empty. The part took a little time to order, but he stayed patient and kept me informed every step of the way. What stood out most to me was the honesty and integrity. When my horn stopped working, Klent initially believed I needed a new horn, but after speaking further with Tim, he realized it was only the relay. Instead of charging me for unnecessary repairs, he immediately corrected it, located the relay locally through O'Reilly, and had Tim install it the very same day. My horn now works perfectly, and I truly appreciated that level of honesty and efficiency. Another thoughtful gesture was when Klent noticed the attachment for my gas cap had broken off. As a courtesy, he replaced it so I would no longer risk losing the gas cap. Small acts like that truly matter. Overall, I received a tune-up, spark plugs, oil change, diagnostics, and several repairs, and I left feeling valued as a customer. The atmosphere was always warm, welcoming, and respectful. Thank you, Klent and Tim, for taking such good care of my Montero Sport. I truly appreciate your professionalism and kindness, and I look forward to returning for future maintenance and oil changes. Jeffery arrived on time and he and his two assistants removed the old alternator and installed the new one in less than two hours. The shops that we contacted for the repair wouldn't allow us to buy the parts from an outside party, but Jeffery told us that we could purchase the alternator which saved us more than $100 on the cost of the alternator compared to the other shops' estimates.
