LOVE High Ride! I've tried most of the spin studios in Denver, and High Ride is easily my favorite. For a small business, the owners have created a great standard of consistency through all of their classes. Each instructor brings their own vibe, but you can expect the same level of accessibility, challenge and motivation from everyone. I became a monthly unlimited member last year, and ride about 4 times a week. I'll start this review by saying before 2018, I was a serial monogamist with gyms. I'd commit for the year (to get the deal) and eventually find a reason to leave, moving on to the next place. Four years later, I continue to love every moment I spend at High Ride. The owners make an effort to learn your name (seriously, Megan must know 1 million names), the instructors celebrate your victories, and the warmth reverberates long after you leave the studio. All this to preface the fact that the workout itself is challenging without being intimidating. The instructors give you options and there is no pressure on a leadership board, nothing but love and praise in that room. I can't recommend it enough!! read more

High Ride is the best ride. From the minute you walk in the door, there's a warm greeting and a smile at the front desk. From there, you hit the spin room with an enthusiastic instructor who you can tell LOVES what he or she does. It really is a high ride - you'll leave feeling heaps better than you did when you walked into the space! As far as cleanliness goes, it's immaculate. I've been working out at High Ride regularly (3-5 days per week) for a few months. I book classes using the Mind Body app. This place books up fast, especially on the weekends. You can, however, cancel a reservation up until two hours before class, which is super reasonable given how popular they are. You don't need to bring anything except a water bottle. You can also buy water there if you forget yours. They provide towels on each bike and spinning shoes. Shoes are included in the price of class/membership. The shoes are always clean. If you want to invest in your own shoes, you can place an order at High Ride. They will put the clips in for you. The studio, bikes, sound system, and lights are all top of the line and kept up. The bathroom has separate shower and toilet stalls. It is airy, clean, and stocked with accommodations: tampons, quips, cotton balls, cotton swobs, blow dryer, deodorant, dry shampoo, shampoo etc. The best part about this studio is the culture. The owners, Megan and Scott, are passionate about helping people. They are kind, funny, professional, and welcome feedback. They are easy to love! The spin instructors are phenomenal. They make everyone feel welcome. They explain hand positions, resistance, and lead you through stretches at the start of every class. They encourage you to listen to your body while also pushing yourself to "make a little change" and "get a little stronger". My favorite classes right now are with Megan (owner), Rae, Will, and Alexa. But they are all seriously amazing. The classes feel like a hybrid between dance party and therapy. Megan always ends her classes with saying "thank your body for being here, not everyone can do this". As someone who has not always felt able to access something as rigorous as a spin class, her reminder makes me feel really proud, grateful, and empowered. I highly recommend trying out High Ride. This studio has a dark vibe. i am new to Denver and recently tried this studio for the first time. The two owners were in some sort of dispute with someone. Looked like it might have been a staff member. No matter who it was, it was uncomfortable and seemed highly unprofessional. It was two against one, and it totally brought down my energy. No one should be treated like that. Will they treat members like that if something doesn't go their way? Anyway, I have now tried Star Cycle and Vic Cycle, and these studios have much better vibe. read more

Best Cycle Studio in Denver! I started going to spin classes through Class Pass and hopped around studios for a while until I tried High Ride. After a couple classes - I was obsessed! The instructors are all awesome and really know how to pick playlists and that's one of my favorite parts of the class. They also put together a lot of themed rides that add to the hype. High Ride also has affordable New Rider specials that I highly recommend taking advantage of if you're just starting out. Love, love, love High Ride! I have been to SoulCycle, CycleBar, Gym spin classes, pretty much every variation of spin. High Ride is one of my favorites. High Ride is most similar to SoulCycle where you ride to beat versus tracking your RPMs or Power. The class is 45 minutes of fun music, motivating instructors and intense cardio. I love that each class is different and always challenges me. You walked out of that class not only feeling like you had an amazing work out, but also with a ton of confidence because of how much you pushed yourself. I can't even express how much I am in love with the classes at the studio, but I'm going to try. I have been doing spin for five years at the same studio and really fell in love with spin as it was the only fitness class I was actually looking forward to. But, it was still a chore for me. Once that studio dropped from classpass I was forced to look into another studio and then I found high ride cycle. The energy that every class brings is infectious. I feel like I'm in a room of all Warriors. The focus on the beat of the music brings me back to my roots of technical dancing. The instructors are so motivating. The message delivered each class reaches my soul. And even though I am most definitely the least fit person there, I am inspired by all the people around me and it only pushes me to be better. I started cycling when I lived in DC at Zengo - a studio that is rhythmic based and feels like a combination of cardio + strength training. When I moved to Denver, I struggled to find a place that had these same elements that made me feel comfortable, challenged and didn't absolutely break the bank. Enter, High Ride! After my first class here, I was totally hooked. I signed up for the monthly unlimited membership (THANK YOU for having this option) and come on a very regular basis. The entire staff is so welcoming. I haven't taken a class yet that doesn't have a stellar playlist and leave me feeling like I had to push myself. Each instructor does have their own style which I love because I know I can diversify my week by taking various class times to get a different vibe in the classes. You won't end up having a favorite because they really all are so talented at what they do here. I leave High Ride feeling energized (even though I just sweat my butt off) by the uplifting environment. Plus, the shoes are free, there are amazing unlimited membership perks and the studio set up doesn't make you feel crowded.
