Prior to a year ago, you can ask any person that knows me and they would tell you that one of the things I talked the most negatively about was spin class. I would refuse to try it, would talk smack about it being a dumb workout, and openly admitted that anyone that did it was psychopath. Fast forward a year later, and here I am, one of those psychopaths. That's the only part that rings true to my previous sentiments, and I mean that in the most loving way. The High Ride High is REAL. During my first class I was TERRIFIED, I had to have someone go with me. When I got into class the atmosphere was electric, the fear started to dwindle and magically turn to a little bit of excitement. I spent the next 45 minutes having a dance party on my bike. Was it hard? Hell yes it was hard, but I don't think I stopped smiling the entire class. As I come up on a year of first trying High Ride Cycle, a few things are different. Anyone that tells me they hate spin, I challenge them and let them know that no one was a bigger hater than me, and if they want to give it a go, I will be right by their side. You can find me most days whooping it up in the front row at the studio, or riding sidebar because the instructors rooted me on and helped me get out of comfort zone. If I'm not smiling, you will find me crying because the encouraging words from the instructors sometimes hit my soul so hard, that it's like they knew exactly what I needed to hear that day. Every single instructor at HRC has impacted me. The music, the atmosphere, the community. What Megan and Scott have created is magic. I have connected with people on social media that I haven't even rode in class with, yet HRC has connected us. I will forever be grateful I found a home at High Ride Cycle. Do yourself a favor and get on a bike at HRC. You won't regret it, in fact, I can almost guarantee you will be back. read more

I've been a loyal rider at HighRide Spin Studio for 5 years, and it's been an incredible journey! The energy here is unmatched, and I truly look forward to every ride. The instructors, especially Lindsey and Megan, are absolutely phenomenal. Lindsey brings such a contagious level of enthusiasm to every class. She's motivating, knows how to push you just the right amount, and always mixes up the playlists, keeping it fresh and fun. You can tell she genuinely cares about her riders and is so invested in our progress. Her encouragement makes those final sprints feel doable. Megan is equally fantastic. Her classes are always challenging yet rewarding. She has this perfect balance of being tough but supportive. Megan's classes feel like a community, and she always helping riders with form and offers personal touches, like knowing your name and your goals. The studio itself is clean, welcoming, and has a great vibe. The community here is fantastic, and it's a place where you feel supported and encouraged, no matter your fitness level. Whether you're a seasoned spinner or new to the cycling world, HighRide Spin Studio is the place to be. I'm looking forward to many more years of sweating it out with Lindsey, Megan, and the awesome crew! read more

For the past two weeks I have taken a handful of classes at High Ride and am blown away by not only the quality of the workout and music (the music really is incredible and is guaranteed to hype you up), but by the atmosphere of the studio in general. The front desk employees make you feel welcomed as soon as you walk through the door and the instructors go above and beyond to provide you with the best experience possible. I have witnessed numerous interactions where employees reached out to new riders to make sure they were set with shoes and clipping in, offered help adjusting the bike and they also took the time to patiently explain the basics of the ride itself. From someone who has frequented other gyms and fitness studios, the staff dynamic at High Ride is unique and truly remarkable. I was most impressed by the genuine nature of their interactions and conversations, as they are consistently supporting each other and working together. The level of respect and gratitude the owners have for their staff is a perfect lesson in leading by example and sets the foundation for the sense of community that High Ride embodies. I highly recommend giving High Ride a visit, I promise you won't be disappointed. read more

5mo ago I fell in love with what spin offered my spirit as a decompression to the trauma I see day to day professionally. The same friend that nudged me to start riding, also pushed me to try a class at High Ride. 3mo ago, High Ride, it's instructors, community, and leadership changed the game completely for me. In no other spin space have I been given so much permission to be human, to show up in any shape mentally, physically and emotionally, to work, dance, and move my way through all of it. It took one class for me to know I had landed in the right space and amongst THE community for my mind, body and spirit to thrive. In an industry that has such a strong focus on numbers, calories, and competition, the human factor often gets lost. What High Ride has is the human factor, their people matter and that is very clear. Thank you Megan and Scott for showing up and taking care of your community the way you do! A class at High Ride in Sloan Lake or the soon to open Northglenn studio is a MUST on the list of things to check out in the Denver area. You won't be disappointed! read more

Highly recommend HRC to anyone and everyone that comes in contact with me. I'm known to use and abuse my guest pass bc there's nothing I enjoy more than sharing my love for movement, specifically, cycling with my friends. HRC for me started as a place where I would come to burn a lot of calories and now it's turned into a haven where I feel like I recharge for myself. It's fun, it's a party, it's a community, it's finding new friends in every class. It's a euphoria to step out sweating and shaking from every class. No other class in Denver (or maybe anywhere lol) is going to play "la chona" edm version for you. Each instructor brings their own flavor and personality to their playlists and class so every class is always different and challenging. HRC is filled with body-positivity and inclusivity for all persons. Their premium membership alone is the best you can ask for with additional access to neighboring fitness centers. You will never be bored and you will never regret one of their workouts. Thank you for creating this space & community. read more

I've tried 4-5 different cycling studios in Denver and High Ride is by far my favorite! I've taken 5 classes with 3 different instructors and all have been consistently amazing. High Ride is similar to Flywhee/Soul Cycle in many ways; the classes are super high energy (without being obnoxious), the focus is on spinning to the beat of the music and there's a thorough and effective arm workout during each class. Other great things about High Ride: the bathrooms have showers and everything you'll need to get ready, there is no extra fee for renting cycling shoes and the bikes are incredibly comfortable and easy to use. I highly recommend this studio if you're looking to take a cycling/spin class!!! read more

By far the best dance party on a bike ever! Coming from someone who absolutely did not enjoy any type of cardio, I became obsessed with classes at high ride cycle since day one. The staff is super helpful and friendly. You can feel the positive energy from the moment you enter the studio by the friendly front desk all throughout the class with the motivating and amazing instructors. They offer classes every day at very flexible times and cycling shoes are free of charge! Megan and Scott, the owners, make every rider feel welcomed. It's great when you come to a studio and they know you by name and make you feel comfortable and that's why I keep coming back after 1.5 years of being a loyal rider! read more

I joined High Ride shortly after they moved to their SLO (Sloan's Lake) location. I went in not knowing what to expect since it was my first time trying a cycling class but they Megan Hanson and the rest of the staff at High Ride immediately made me feel at home. They constantly offer their help with anything you might need from setting your bike up, to switching out your weights during a "cardio break" if you want to increase the weight! The music, the energy, and the vibe that High Ride provides is undefeated. If you haven't checked them out yet, they have amazing deals for first time riders. Did I mention they're opening a second location this Winter? That's just how rockin' they are. read more

Growing up a competitive soccer player, I struggled to find a workout in my post grad life that was challenging enough for me to actually feel like I was working out. Then I found High Ride. With them, I found that muscle fatiguing, lung burning, empowering workout I had been searching for for years. Each one of their instructors is welcoming, helpful, motivating, and completely bad ass. They all have an incredible way of making the most difficult workout you've ever done also the most fun workout you've ever done. Not only are they the best instructors in town, but the most accepting and friendly community in town. Thank you, High Ride! read more

I want to update my review because I've been a member at High Ride for over a year. I recently became a mom and have been thinking about ways to trim our budget and save money. My membership at High Ride absolutely made the cut for an expense that I don't want to compromise. Those 45 minutes on that bike are the most essential part of my physical and mental health. It's a perfect release and helps me be my very best self. For so many years, I refused to wake up early and work out. High Ride is the very first place that changed that for me! I love High Ride and am thankful I decided to try them on ClassPass over a year ago. read more

High Ride Cycle has truly revolutionized my spin experience in Denver. After exploring various studios, High Ride has captured my loyalty. Their monthly unlimited membership has had me eagerly returning multiple times a week. The Sloan's Lake location is not only convenient but also has a magnetic ambiance, thanks to the exceptionally warm staff. While I've naturally gravitated towards certain instructors, every class promises a blend of intensity, inspiration, and invigoration. Riding out from each session, I'm greeted with an unparalleled wave of satisfaction and vitality! read more

I've been coming to high ride for almost two years now and I have yet to find a better cycling or fitness studio! It truly is more like a community rather than just a place to go to workout and you feel like family even if you don't know everyone there. It's also so nice that people actually remember who you are when you walk in and always greet you with a smile! The instructors are amazing, supportive, inspiring, and so friendly. Not to mention that the music is on point. Every. Single. Time, regardless of who is instructing. I can't stress enough how much I love high ride! read more

My first ride was inspiring and I haven't stopped since. This is a fast paced environment that will kick your butt, but make you smile and sometimes even cry! All these instructors have their own special touch they put on their class. This place feels more like a family then a workout gym. It's a place that has true community it pushes you physically, mentally, and emotionally. When you come out of class soaking in sweat and you have left everything on the floor it is then you know why this place feels so good! You will not regret taking a class here! read more

High Ride is empowering and healing and a damn good workout. Each instructor has his or her own dynamic, and I leave their classes sweaty and smiling. There's no pressure to be the best. There's only encouragement to be YOUR best. This is a supportive community that doesn't expect perfection. I'm so grateful for the High Ride family and absolutely recommend this studio. Your first class is free, but you'll probably sign up for an unlimited membership once you finish that final sprint. read more

High Ride Cycle has some of the hardest classes I've done, however, I am in love with the way I feel and the results I've been achieving, it's odd to think a cycling studio would give you so much mental strength in addition to physical, but High Ride certainly delivers. I am so grateful I went, every class leaves you feeling so much better than before. You know you've made it when you move back and forth in the car to see if you can catch a right-left beat to every song you hear. read more

High Ride has renewed my love for working out. Lindsay's 5:30 class works perfectly in my schedule and I look forward to it every Tuesday! The instructors are so kind and motivating and their high energy makes me give it my all, every time. The space is beautiful and very welcoming. The studio is clean and I never have an issue with parking. I have tried a few other cycle studios around Denver and this one is the best hands down, you won't regret checking this spot out! read more

High Ride has become a second home to me for the past 2 years. Meghan and Scott have created such a welcoming atmosphere for all to enjoy. Whether it's your first class or your 50th all are encouraged to thank your body for showing up. All the instructors are amazing and bring their own uniqueness to their classes. Whether it's a 5 am ride or a late night theme ride I'm still intrigued to keep coming back. (And to buy all their amazing swag that Alissa keeps designing.) read more

High Ride has turned into my place of therapy and daily rejuvenation on top of being an all-around excellent "gym" experience. Great music, great energy, and a great amount of sweat are involved 100% of the time. I genuinely appreciate the consistency (literally every instructor is fantastic-- it's crazy!) of each ride blended with each instructor's unique style. It's like church, that High Ride! You leave feeling better and much more connected to the world around you. read more
