Like a lot of other people, I was referred to High Priority as part of American Home Shield. I had read my entire contract in advance and had a pretty good idea of what was covered and what wasn't, however it was my first time using any such Warranty. Scheduling was a breeze, and much to my surprise Cory called and arrived in the first half hour of my appointment window... that just doesn't happen in Atlanta. He was very helpful in helping me navigate the ins and outs of the Warranty, and was able to get the repair approved by AHS and completed within two hours. Overall it was a great experience, and made me feel a ton better about the investment I had made in a home warranty, however I would use High Priority again with our without it. read more

Went through them for help with a toilet issue. Eric came out and spoke to be me like a real person and not some blank check. Worked out everything with my home warranty. Even gave me some good advise on the water damage in the bathroom. Will be calling them again. read more

i had the worst experience ever with a plumber--TWICE. my home warranty company uses them but i will go far, far out of my way for the rest of my life to avoid this terrible company. hired, paid, and didn't fix the problem--and wouldn't even return to the house for what they had been paid to do. read more

Worst company ever, customer service (Jennifer & Britney) are certified liars, you will never get a callback or scheduling on time, service sucks, I hate this company they came to my house times & the issue still exists. Their slogan is copied from real companies out there ....these people are not honest & don't care about their service. read more

The next day after leaving the previous review I received a phone call from Corey and explained my situation to him with the previous technician, he apologized and within hours Darrell was at my house on a Sunday. He worked diligently to fix my issue. He had to come back the next day with a different truck and tools. The next day he brought Michael with him. The two of them worked most of the day and were able to fix our plumbing problem. Michael and Darrell went above and beyond to fix my plumbing problem and I will be using High Priority next time and I will be requesting one of these two every single time!!! They were extremely nice, explained everything (even made drawings to help us understand) and it was a totally different experience than with the other technician. Thank you Darrell and Michael for giving us working toilets again!!!! read more

*****DO NOT USE THEM** I used this company in 2012 & it was a complete rip off. I was referred through AHS, my home warranty co & have since cancelled them partly do to this expensive experience. Not only did they over charge me & take advantage of me at a very vulnerable time..they subcontracted out parts of the job & NEVER got my concrete in the driveway or landscape back right. After paying $4k for a SHOTY job I felt the least hey could do was make that right. I called them back out several times & spoke to the so called MGR/Owner type whom I recall as not being customer service friendly or effective. I cringe when I see there vans here in town. read more

Issued a plumbing request under our home warranty through American Home Shield. The plumber showed up 3 hours late and did not hesitate to take our initial $75.00 deposit he than proceeded to quote us $450.00 for the repair which he indicated was not covered. The plumber stated "Plumbing issues are never covered under the home warranty". I found this to be a bit odd as plumbing is part of a home and is listed as a warranty item in our contract. Ultimately, it was clear the plumber was out there to collect the $75 and be on his way. read more

The name is very ironic. I had to hound them for weeks to get an appointment through American Home Shield. Then they no-showed, and didn't show the courtesy to even call. Very disappointing. I would recommend another plumber. Anyone else but these guys. read more

Customer service was responsive, helpful, and courteous. Plumber was knowledgeable, neat, and did a good job. My only negative is 2 missed appointments. Not too cool when you've had a busted sump pump for 2 weeks. read more

Gee, of all the negative reviews here, and there are a lot, why are you responding to me? It wouldn't have anything to do with the fact I disputed the $75 credit card charge, right? Your constant badgering of me to "get resolution" and "do the right thing" seem to correlate with the CC dispute. Yes, you have a picture, we did talk and Darin was here for an hour. Your picture is blurry and shows nothing. You were essentially belittling me in our conversation while telling me I was wrong. And Darin spent a good bit of his time sitting in the van. There is no need to spin this as a positive outcome. Until you start responding to all the bad reviews here, it is obvious that you are just sore over the loss of your service charge. read more

As like most of you guys this plumbing company was referred to me by my home warranty people American Home Shield. After reading the reviews I did not know what to expect. I had previously been referred to b another company that was horrible and they actually never showed up I proceeded to schedule with high party Plumbing in hippies for the best. the technicians name was Dakota did a wonderful job. I'm sorry that everyone else had a bad experience because I can definitely relate. but today I had a great experience and I've got to come give credit where its due.and I had a good experience and yes I am a real customer. read more

Three words: Ask for Eric. Thank you to High Priority Plumbing for fixing my exterior hose bibs with such efficiency and timeliness. Eric is the best plumber I've ever seen, knows everything and explains what's happening before fixing it. You've got a great thing going with Eric and your sweet schedulers. Thank you High Priority, for making your customers first! read more

My faucet hasn't worked in years. I was certain it would have to be replaced, which would suck since I'd have to replace the working and non-working for them to match. High Priority Plumbing went literally around the world to find the part I needed for repair and my faucet works better than it did when it was new. They also fixed my pot filler...Another item I was sure would need to be replaced. My technician was Cory. He was very professional and provided excellent customer service through out the process. I highly recommend Cory and HPP. read more

High Priority was referred to me by a trusted friend. I was told to ask for Steven and he came out and arrived within the appointment window. He was very friendly and courteous. Replaced a toilet within an hour and cleaned up after himself. He was such a nice person. I really appreciate all that he did and how well the work was done! read more

Someone from High Priority was sent out by my home warranty company to fix two of my toilets; one was not running at all and one was running consistently. The plumber told me that the one that wasn't running at all had a clog and in order to fix it they would need to reset my toilet and since the inside of my tank had a hairline fracture he would have to replace my whole toilet which would cost me almost $400 out of pocket. I thought this was absurd and called another plumber who was able to come out and fix the clog just fine without having to reset my toilet. The other toilet that was running consistently appeared to be fine for about a day but now is cycling on and off. I called to speak with someone at High Priority and they took no responsibility for the misdiagnosis and with a poor attitude told me that I would need to call my warranty company to get them to come back out and fix the other toilet. DO NOT RECOMMEND! read more

Regardless of how High Priority tries to justify the reasons to explain their business practice and their behavior, it's not right. The long and short of the matter is they did work on or home because of the money. Initially, they said they did not work on our system. Regardless they continued to send out technicians. Every time a technician responded to our request, we paid them $50.00. I have no idea how much they were paid by HSA. The last time they sent out a technician, late July, who advised he did not work on our system and would transfer the case to their Septic Tank Depart. We were advised by this inexperienced young technician to leave our home because it was a dangerous environment to flush the toilet. My husband was not home, so out of fear I used the neighbor's bathroom. It was in the middle of the day, so I had to wait for my husband to come home. During that time, I felt I was intruding on the neighbors that I started to use the bathroom in a trash can in our home. I found this to be disgusting and humiliating. When my husband came home from work, we still had to use the bathroom in trash cans. While at the same time we were trying to locate a hotel. We stayed at the hotel for four days until we could no longer afford it. We are senior citizens with modest incomes. We had to return home and live in what High Priority said was an unsafe condition. We latter found a company who told us there was nothing wrong with our system. This occurred because of the actions of HSA and High Priority. What is interesting about this scenario is that High Priority initially said they did not work on the system, however in our best interest they would do "something to make it bearable for us." In my opinion they should have denied the work order. Not only should they have denied the work order, but between the time the untrained technician left our home and reported their findings to HSA, we were informed by HSA that High Priority advised our pump was too full of oil and was not covered by our policy because the work was not a matter of ordinary normal wear and tear. As a result of High Priority's findings, our claim was denied. I'm not sure what happened between the time the untrained technician left, and we heard from HSA. High Priority later that same day advised us that they could repair the tank for $4,00.00. Keep in mind they pumped the tank early on, now they're recommending a large sum to pay to work on the system later that same day. We discovered that the work was not justified, nor were they licensed or justified to work on our tank. Recall they were not licensed to work on our system. When talking with other companies in this industry, I discovered this is a normal business practice of High Priority, to advise incorrect findings to warranty companies so the claims would be denied, and they would in turn complete unneeded work because of the fear they instilled in the consumer. What can a consumer do if they are caught between to big companies. HSA's online information says it is a large company with assets over $377 million dollars, have several affiliates and located in over 45 states. I filed a complaint with the BBB; however, I did not respond in the allotted 7 day for personal reasons. High Priority's response was filed on July 28, not counting the weekends, my response was filed on time. However, I could not allow this business practice and information be left untold. If you look at their responses to complaints on their website you will note identical comments, (1) They can't find a history of the customer's file, or (2), they transfer the blame to the Warranty company, stating it was not their responsibility for the decisions of the warranty company. However, the same situation and answers occur too frequently. We as consumers can't all be insane. But the same situation occurs with other consumers as the one we endeared. Keep in mind these are my opinions and not those of others. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!! read more

From start to finish HPP was awesome. They came right out the next day and changed to waterline into my home. The leak had been going on for sometime and caused our water bill to increase by $2000.00! Since the repair we have had no issues (knock on wood) and our bill is back in-line. Thanks HPP. read more

Wished to rate this company in negative numbers however a 1 is the lowest possible rating. We had a issue with water backing up in a toilet from the washing machine that was next to the laundry room. Also the actual drain for the washer was also clogged and we were draining the washer through the Mud Sink. We already had a plumber snake the line and he said we need to have someone run a camera through the line. High Priority came out and the tech ran the camera through the line and charge over 600 dollars the result was the tech said we had a problem under the house because of corrosion in our Iron Pipes. He then quoted me 4500 dollars to replace the Iron Pipes which did not include clearing the Washing Machine drain line. A friend suggested we call some one that they knew to makes sure this was a problem. He came out Quoted 1800 dollars to include all repairs. When he started the job he first replaced the drain line for the Washer then went under the house. He then found me and told me the problem with the drain line was not iron pipes since it was all PVC under the house and the problem occurred when a new HVAC unit was put under the house and the tech from that had disconnected the hangers on the pipes and the box was sitting on it which caused a low spot in the drain and this was causing the back up. He ended up charging me 500 dollars less than his original quote. The High Priority tech never went under the house and looked at the drain lines. Would not use them nor would I recommend them to anyone. read more

I do not recommend this company. My home warranty company used them to check out a malfunctioning hot water heater. High Priority told my home warranty company that the tenant said the water pipe going into the hot water heater had been leaking a long time. I questioned the tenant, and he said he told the tech no such thing. The tenant also stated that the first guy who came out was talking so crazy that he asked for another tech. It looks to me like High Priority colluded with my home warranty company to deny replacement of the hot water tank, based on "secondary water damage" from a longstanding leak. If there HAD been a leak, the tenant said he would have noticed it, as he went to relight the pilot light several times. Shenanigans like this is why High Priority gets only two out of five stars! read more

All I can saw is wow! I called because we have a leaking pipe in our basement in the new house we just moved into. We have a homeowners warranty and the guy basically told me to get in line behind 20 other people that have already called and then hung up on me without taking any information. I guess they are too busy for a leaking pipe in a basement and it's not a High Priority. What a jerk! read more

Do not use high Priority Plumbing Service for your plumbing needs. They were sent by American Home Shield (who also is terrible) to do a simple kitchen sink stoppage. As always with AHS technicians they want more money than the service fee. He did not try to fix the problem, just quoted more money before he can get started. The next day I had another plumbing company come in run the snake and in 15 minutes the job was completed without a problem. These money hungry companies are ridiculous. read more

Avoid this company like the plague. They replaced a water heater for me under my home warranty plan. The unit they replaced it with, according to reviews, is prone to problems and Lowe's has confirmed that they no longer carry this brand because of the high number of problems. After the install and after reading the bad reviews I called the home warranty company to find out why this brand was chosen. I was told that the plumbing company should have given me the option to choose the heater I wanted installed with the higher cost being picked up by me. I was never given that option. I can only assume that this is because they get the substandard water heaters at a cost way below the amount they are given by the warranty company and don't want the customer choosing a heater that will eat into their profit. Avoid this company at all costs. read more

Originally my problem seemed to get lost when the company had some turnover in the parts / customer service department. Once I was able to connect with Paulette Simpson and explain what was happening, or not happening, High Priority actually made me a priority. Corey came out personally and resolved the problem. All companies occasionally have breakdowns in service, but the good ones address them and make it right with the customer. High Priority did that with me. read more

Great company! After three plumbers from two different companies had come to diagnose/repair the leak I had in my guest bathroom toilet, to no avail, I finally put my foot down and insisted that my home warranty company send me a senior technician from a third company. They then contacted High Priority Plumbing and Services, who promptly contacted me to schedule an appointment for the next day! ERIC, the plumber that they assigned to my case, was not only very nice, respectful, and professional, but also very knowledgeable, thorough, and informative. He immediately observed and confirmed the leak, diagnosed the problem, and recommended to my warranty company that the toilet be replaced. High Priority Plumbing contacted me the very next day to schedule the removal and replacement of the toilet, and upon my request, sent ERIC again, to do the work. I will definitely use this Company for any/all plumbing issues that may arise in the future, and recommend them to everyone else, as well. Thank you, High Priority Plumbing! read more

We had a huge leak that we knew started in our laundry room and flooded the floor below. High Priority Plumbing and Service responded to our service call. The company scheduled an appointment that was quick and convenient for us. Michael arrived on time and couldn't have been more polite, knowledgable, and customer service focused. He quickly identified the problem, repaired it, tested it, and shared the details with us. 5 stars Michael! Thank you. read more

High Priority Plumbing and Services, Inc. - Conyers - 5 stars Michael. (Sorry for my crappy photog skills) - Plumbing Near Me - Conyers, Georgia

This is the second time that I used High Priority Plumbing Service due to my home warranty with AHS. I had dealt with another company that AHS had sent out before but wasn't satisfied after a few incidents with them. I requested that they send out another company, that's when Eric came out and corrected the problem. I recently needed work done in my bathroom that caused a leaking problem. I realized that Eric had been to my home a year before, and corrected the problem. I was very pleased with the work he had done and advice he had given. Like before he was on time, pleasant, and professional. Should I need any work down the line ( Hopefully I won't ) I would use High Priority Plumbing Services. Thanks Eric! (From Cindy H). read more

I had a short but good experience with Michael Waters of this company. He explained the problem (which turned out not to be a plumbing issue but a dishwasher issue) in terms I could understand and was courteous and friendly. I would have liked him to come up more quickly with a diagnosis of what the problem was rather than it was not, however, overall I felt confident that he knew what he was talking about and his explanations made a lot of sense. Would definitely use this plumber again. read more

Will never recommend this company. My home warranty provided a Contractor from this company to fix somethings in my home. The contractor came in, lied that he will call his supervisor to verify coverage. When asked why he needed to verify, he became angry and threatening to me and my kids. What a lie!!! coverage is verified prior to coming. He went to his truck and never came back. My warranty company later told me he provided false info about "preexisting condition" We have recorded video footage that the contractor did not check the things needed to be fixed. We also have documented inspection report that things were working properly a few weeks ago. My guess!! Contractor wanted to avoid working on the assignment. Unfortunately, I still paid for the service fee. This was a Waste of my time and Money. Poor customer service!! they never return any of my calls. Despite my warranty providers calling this company to file a complaint. My advice, shop around for other companies in the area first. Disappointed, but not surprise!! considering, the contractor is not the business owner but a bad employee. My advice, better to find small local business owners via thumbtack with cheap quotes or search around first. read more

My experience with High Priority Plumbing and Services was nothing short of wonderful. From the moment that they showed up to assess the function of my water heater, to the thoroughness of the installation the next day, as well as my communications with their office, it was nothing but seamless and professional. They were chosen by American Home Shield which is my home warranty provider. Ok, this being said, I would like to address most of the negative reviews. If your water heater is shot, it can almost promise you that it was installed well over ten years ago when it is VERY POSSIBLE that your local building codes where not yet updated. It is unethical for a plumbing company to install new equipment if the pipes and etcetera are out of code. This is NOT the fault, nor is it the responsibility of the plumbing company, or the home warranty company...they have NO control over what the state and/or county building commissioners do, so it will be YOUR responsibility to pay for the plumbing and etcetera to be brought up to code. In my case in GA, it was $430.00. DO NOT penalise High Priority or your home warranty company for circumstances that are beyond their control! I will say that I would hire High Priority for any and all of my plumbing needs, even for things outside of warranty. They were fantastic and WORTHY of your business. read more

Absolutely not, these guys are after your money. They offer services for cost that other companies provide for free not to mention they don't fix the plumbing problem. I had to call another plumbing company to unclog my pipes. Took the follow-on plumber ten minutes to clear the pipe. Their service is equal to what is now free flowing down my sewer pipe. read more

High priority sent out by my warranty company. Hot water tank broken and leaking water. Stated he would have to update some items as they were out of code. I spoke with the county Development Department concerning the codes Per the county not a single item was out of code. High priority wanted to charge $575 to replace $50 worth of parts. They are using the warranty companies to get rich and the warranty companies are allowing it. read more

Very difficult company to work with. Scheduling is a nightmare. There are much better choices out there.

Thus far I have had nothing but pleasant experiences with this company...which is a lot more than I can say about the other company my home warranty company sent out to my house. I have used High Priority through my home warranty multiple times now and they have always called me on time, have always been honest, have always worked with me to fix the issue within my coverage, and have always actually fixed the issue. That is way more than I can say about the other plumbing contractors I have dealt with in Atlanta thus far. read more

High Priority Plumbing was sent out to repair a leaking toilet through AHS. Chris showed up and explained that we needed to reset the toilets and rebuild them. He changed the flushing mechanism and then left after pouring toilet water all over my floor because his bucket was broken. After following up today, turns out he told AHS that our issues were because of our septic system, thus, making the repairs NOT covered by AHS and an additional $300 out of pocket if I want him to come back out. Apparently, I am one of many homeowners "covered" by AHS that has now fallen victim to this type of High Priority Plumbing scam. read more

My expensive home warranty company (AHS) assigned Derek from HIGH PRIORITY PLUMBING & SERVICES INC to fix a simple copper pipe issue. He arrived 1.5 hours late, very disrespectful attitude to both myself and my wife, and proceeded to find ways to not work on the job. He only stayed inside 2 minutes then sat in his truck for 30 minutes with AHS to get out of the job. Derek came back in and proceeded to tell me my claim was denied, and I needed to talk to the home warranty. Zero effort to diagnose the problem and apparent he just wanted to go home. He came back with a $650 quote to fix a minor copper pipe. Very dishonest, rude, and would NEVER ask them to do work. If AHS does send Derek out .. send home home. read more

Guy came out twice, had me call an air guy only to have him called back out again. And then gave me the run around about the follow up for my service. Not very professional. I would recommend, if you're not finding them through your home insurance- to go with other higher rated companies on here. I really dreaded the lack of expertise I got with the company and the run around I got. Being honest and upfront is of upmost importance. read more
