I had just moved to Burlington, MA from Michigan a few months ago. The move exacerbated some of my chronic physical aliments. My prior work history for twenty-five years has been involved primary in the physical aspects of the construction industry. Upon doing my research for the immediate area in which I live, my research led my to High Point Chiropractic because of the positive reviews posted on Yelp. The reviews are truly consistent with my personal experiences with them. Andy and Kandyce Mutter whom own the business are simply amazing people. The both of them together compliment each other quite effectively from the initial consultation to their daily practice. The both of them provide an exemplary quality of service that is demonstrated through precise adjustments tailored to the individuals needs and the added benefit of their friendly personalities. They are thoroughly engaged with their patients that is not suffocating, but are encouraging for improved overall health and well-being. Being that the adjustments take place in an open room allows for the casual observation in how patients are consistently treated with respect and concern for their condition. At first, I felt the open room arrangement would be a bit invasive for others to peer at you, but I was modified in my assumption. The high level of comfort in the office is undeniably shared amongst the clientele that transcends in an overall atmosphere that is relaxing an informative. I continue to see Andy and Kandyce twice weekly, and noticed tangible improvements in my spine to where my range of motion has greatly improved along with noticeable reduction in pain. My condition has went from acute, to sub-acute, and advancing towards a maintenance level. I could write pages about this chiropractic office. Here are just a few things that make it great: Convenience: They're open early and stay late, and are really flexible with appointments. I can always get in at a time that works for me and my family. I can even make an appointment the same day! Set up of the office: They have an open-style office, where you get adjusted and have treatment in an open area, not in a closed-off room. It's relaxed, friendly, and nice to talk with other people. My kids come with me and they can watch or play while I'm being treated. Quality of care: The doctors are knowledgeable about their field, and in my opinion, progressive in their treatment styles. They've helped make my migraines almost nonexistent, taken away my back pain, fixed my kids up when they've taken a spill, done preventative care to make sure I was ready for a big physical event etc. They look at the whole person and really treat you that way. They're careful with their approach, respectful in their recommendations. They're not just about fixing pain, although that's part of it. They want to help prevent the pain from coming back, too. They try to correct spinal problems, not just put a bandaid on the problem. Everyone's welcome: No matter how old or young you are, no matter what shape you're in, the doctors welcome you. My kids had their first Chiro adjustments when they were under 2 months old; they're so comfortable in the office. They meet you where you are: The doctors will outline a treatment plan for you, and then make it work with what you can fit into your schedule. They're realistic about expectations, and expect you to have a life outside of chiropractic treatments! I've never felt judged for my lifestyle decisions (diet, exercise etc.) and have always had the freedom to talk about what I do, even if it's been different from what they might have recommended. I came to High Point Chiropractic in search of help with weight loss and they delivered! I have never been unable to lose weight with any exercise/fitness program that I have joined in the last 10 years. My health was beginning to decline and it was very important to me to lose weight in a safe, effective way. I went to Drs. Kandyce and Andrew Mutter for assistance with The Ideal Protein Diet. They taught me about the science behind the diet and worked with me every step of the way. I lost the weight and I feel great. Working with them was such a positive experience. The diet is expensive but the results are amazing. I do not recommend this diet for anyone who is not going to give it !00% effort and consistency. Dr. Kandyce and Dr. Andrew will coach you each week and chart your progress. Although they are excellent coaches, they give you the tools and you must work with the food on the diet to be 100% accurate. If you "cheat" or do not adhere to the requirements, you will not get the results that you want. I have regained my health. My weight is where I want it to be. After much research for a chiropractor, I came across High Point. I made an appointment even though I was nervous to go. My appointment was with Dr. Andy. When I arrived I was greeted by Christina. I then met Mary. I noticed a board where they listed new patients welcoming them to the office. I completed some forms and then Mary took me to an office and asked what brought me in. She took lots of time and asked lots of questions about my issues. When she was done, Dr. Andy came in and explained in great detail about how everything works and how it's linked to each other. He then explained what he was going to check regarding the exam. He also took numerous X-Rays. I could not believe how thorough he was. He explained everything in detail during the exam. These guys are amazing. It is tough to say anymore than what has already been said, but I'll give it a shot! Drs Andy and Kandyce are great at what they do. They are very knowledgeable about the whole person and like to take on tough cases as a challenge, such as myself (I have scoliosis and a host of other issues)! They have gotten me out of pain which I thought was impossible and we are working for some longer term solutions as well. They are patient with people with crazy schedules, such as mine--I work full time where I travel and also have a baby, so when things come up they are able to adapt just fine. I can't think of another set up where I'd be able to stick with my treatment given everything else going on in life. When I've had to bring the baby to my appointment, they go out of their way to make sure he is happy so I can get my adjustment and do traction. It's great. High Point Chiropractic is one of the best, if not the best, chiropractor office I have been to. Drs Andrew and Kandyce Mutter are extremely knowledgeable in the field of chiropractic care, exercise, overall wellness and health. They are both very friendly and easy going - making anyone new to chiropractic care comfortable! They are a family owned practice and that carries over to the overall feeling of the office. I discovered them when I threw my lower back out. It was a hard road because I am an avid exerciser and it was tough to lay off for a bit. I have been going to HPC for a few years. Dr. Andy and Dr. K. have helped me with my back, shoulder, and neck issues. I work unpredictable hours sometimes, and they always work with my schedule.
