    Brisket Plate

Brisket was some of the worst I've ever had. Not sure how long it has been cooked for, but unsalted dog food meat is the texture and taste that comes up. Macaroni was okay. Baked beans were good. Price reflects what good brisket would cost. Can't speak for other dishes but the brisket is not worth it.

Great burnt-tip sandwich and home made potato salad. Served hot and quick. Buns were super fresh, too.

Just don't go here. There's too many other GOOD choices at The Barn. The toughest, overcooked brisket I've ever had a from "BBQ" joint. Same with the tritip. Had to drown the Mac n cheese and potato salad in pepper and salt and it was still mediocre. $25 for 2 meat plate and 2 sides.

I take no pleasure in writing this. It takes a lot to run a small business. The employee was super nice. But I am highly disappointed in this food. I stopped by their new drive through location today in downtown albany and paid $19 for brisket mac. Its a very small serving (yes me and a few others took some bites before taking the picture) but nowhere near $19 worth. The mac was very bland and the brisket was flavorless and had no bark on it. The texture was more like tri-tip. I truly wish this business good luck.

Combo Plate - 2 meat (brisket and pulled pork), 2 sides (coleslaw and potato salad), Texas toast

Was really looking forward to getting bbq in the area, as I've been craving some good bbq lately. This place was subpar and really did not hit the spot. It tastes like meat thrown in a slow cooker, drenched in sweet sauce (that felt like it was meant to make it taste better) -- not a proper, slow cooked meat. Brisket was tough and dry. Pulled pork was not tender and melt in your mouth. Not to mention the sides weren't great; I got potato salad and coleslaw. The coleslaw was not bad, seemed like it was just marinated in vinegar and no mayonnaise (which is what I prefer anyway) and the potato salad seemed like a ranch-based sauce/dressing. Pretty unappealing. For $25 for a 2 meat + 2 sides combo, I'd say take your money to another place for better food.

Melt in your mouth brisket with a great cold brew. What is not to like. Love this outdoor food court. Great variety and great food!

If you have never had a Korean Corn Dog (KCD), this is the place to change that. The last few years…read morehave seen an influx of food trucks doing Korean Friend Chicken. Few of those trucks do the dogs but at Clucking Dog you get the best of both these worlds. At first blush, the KCD is a corn dog who has been working out. Bigger than the traditional American State Fair fried food favorite, KCDs are distinct with the core potentially being cheese versus a beef dog. The differences do not stop there. Batters are commonly potato and, a first for me, Ramen!!!. Then there's the outside. My favorite is the brightly hued, orange dusted exterior, perfect for an Oregon State Beaver-lover to wave. This cheeto-dust helps add another snack favorite to the mix. We went with the all cheese, Ramen, and cheetos dusted treat. Our KCD was perfectly done. The crunch of the outside gives way to the warm ooze of the cheese. The temperature was just right allowing the elasticity of the cheese to stretch and give, expanding to a near two foot long tightrope from mouth to bitten dog. This was a tasty dog and was better than the KCDs I have had in Los Angeles. Do not forgot to add KFC to the mix. The chicken (I had the 5 piece) was a perfect balance to the dog. Once more, it was some of the best KFC I have eaten. Crunch or the outside, tender meat on the inside coming easily of the bone, the juices trapped in the crust waiting to be released on your bite. As a savory lover, the garlic breath was the right sauce, soy, sweet, garlic, brushed on to not drown but highlight the crunch and flavor of chicken.

Waited 45 min for our order and got a doughy corndog. One young kid was trying his best to do it…read moreall alone. Not fair to him. The fried chicken was good though.
