    Empanadas

Really good empanadas! The service was quick and the food was hot! The green sauce on the side is amazing! Definitely try a black bean empanadas, it's like a deep fried bean burrito, but x1000 better! So good! Get some!

Everyone's enjoying their arepas and I'm indulging in an empanada with plantains.

They have an excellent representation of Venezuelan food. As a Venezuelan I crave their food- my favorites, haha, all of the the menu! I switch it up and have been impressed each time. Pabellón criollo is the traditional meal, and they are able to make it in an arepa. Their empanadas are the best- not like empanadas from other countries, and a must have. Their carne mechada with anything is amazing, La Catira and Reina Papiada are delicious! As you can see, there's so much to try you'll be back for more! Salud, amigos!

Food was so flavorful! It was so good I forgot to grab a picture. We got the carne mechado empanada and la pelua arepa. Great spice, heat, and seasoning. Everything tastes fresh and We will be back. Go try this place!

I grew up in a Venezuelan household and this food brings me back every week when I come to get it. It's the most authentic food I've been able to find on the west coast outside of my grandma's kitchen. Highly recommend everything but my go to is the La Pelua with plátanos fritos or fried yuca on the side.

I appreciated the cardboard containers vs plastic but it did soak through. The bags it was packed up in kept it from becoming a mess. The smells were amazing and I had to taste as I plated. Everything was amazing, very flavorful, tender overall and large portions. Sadly, the carne was a little tough and I would not order this again. The Estofado de Carne had a hot sauce I had on the side. It was a very hot and delicious habanero sauce that was amazing! Great food, we'll be back for sure!!

I looked at the menu for a while, and EVERYTHING looked amazing. I couldn't decide! I eventually settled on the Arepas Relleno, which is a thick corn tortilla that is fried and split down the middle, then filled with absolute deliciousness! It's a bit of a fragile eat (mine was falling apart as soon as I picked it up), but dear lord is it tasty. My mouth is literally watering as I write this, remembering how good it was. That's saying something! The gentleman working there was very friendly, and kept speaking to me in what sounded like Spanish (I clearly don't speak Spanish). He soon realized I had little to no idea what he was saying, started laughing and apologized after switching to English. All the guys that had been in line before me were speaking Spanish with him, so I get it. Anyway, not much to say about the ambiance as it's a food cart, but overall a very positive experience and I will DEFINITELY be back. I gotta try everything else!

From the moment I walked in, the experience was top-notch. The gentleman behind the counter was incredibly friendly and took the time to walk me through the menu, which I really appreciated. I played it safe with my go-to jalapeño pupusa (because it's always a win), but the carne guisada plate caught my eye--and I'm so glad I decided to try something new. I mean, who doesn't love a little variety and leftovers? Let me tell you... the flavors were unreal. As the plate was brought to the table, the aroma alone had me salivating before it even touched down. The carne guisada was like a warm, comforting, flavor-packed stew--tender beef, carrots, potatoes, and zucchini cooked perfectly. It came with a small salad drizzled in the most delicious cilantro dressing and a scoop of rice that tied everything together beautifully. If you're craving a supercharged pot roast-style stew flavor, do yourself a favor and order this. Seriously--don't skip it. And can we talk about the salsa bar? So many options! I loved that almost every condiment had jalapeños, because let's be honest--we all need a little spice in our lives Needless to say, I definitely won't be waiting so long to come back. Can't wait for my next visit!

The people are incredibly kind, personable, and welcoming, with such positive energy. There's a real human connection here--you can tell they truly care about what they do, and you leave feeling fed in more ways than just food. And the food absolutely deserves the praise, too. The chicken empanada was perfectly crispy and full of flavor, and the chicken arepa was warm, cheesy, and so comforting, with tender shredded chicken that just hit. Everything tasted intentional and made with love. Even the sauce on the side brought everything together so well. I would honestly pay double for this experience--not because it's expensive (it's very reasonable), but because the food, the people, and the overall vibe are just that good. Beautiful food, beautiful people, beautiful company. They deserve the world. Highly recommend.

In addition, the dishes took about 30 minutes to come out, so it was a bit longer than I expected for brunch. However! We did get a change to meet the owner, who came in as we dined.
