How dare you call that an online "booking" service? This taxi service worked for folks downvalley when it was called Valley Taxi and everything wasn't just about &#cking Aspen and Vail. I booked a ride online three days ago- "booking" can be seen on a page entitled: 'Booking History' under the tab: 'All Trips' however it does not appear under the 'Prebookings' tab. Had a snowboarding accident and needed crutches picked up from the pharmacy. Called High Mountain Taxi, and they dispatched a driver, gave me an estimated time of 40min, which is very good for Vail. The driver, Brian, called me to let me know his ETA, stopped by the pharmacy and even called me from there to see what size crutches I needed, then brought them to my room. Our cab arrived promptly and the driver was pleasant enough. However, he didn't make any attempt to help us with our heavy bags at either end of the ride even though we were obviously struggling and told him we had been traveling for 12 hours. read more

So I originally gave this place a 1 because we had a very bad experience with the driver and emailed the company about it. But the owner handled it very well and promptly, he gave us a refund (which we weren't expecting) and he said if we would try their services again he will make sure we don't get that driver again. read more

Used service four times. First time the driver didn't help much with my wheel chair and I needed help in the snow. Second time, the driver was trying to find my Eagke address in Carbondale. Lucky to make the Dr appointment. Third time was just fine. Good driver, pleasant experience. Forth and last time, I made arrangements to another Dr appointment. Talked to "Diego". Diego never made my reservation. I called to check on the ride only to be told that there was no reservation filed and I could not be dealt with until twelve-thirty. Taxi not available at Aspen airport when we arrived. I called and was told 10 minutes. 30 minutes later we ultimately accepted a ride from a private company for triple the price. Taxi never showed although I called twice and was told taxi on the way. Going to dinner we called for taxi and waited 30 minutes. Called back and was told they couldn't find our location. We are directly across from the Village and see taxi's go by all the time. Of course always full and can't stop. We ultimately started walking and after another 20 minutes received a text that the taxi was sorry they missed us. Going to airport to leave we had a reservation for 10:30 AM We called and asked to move up to 10:00. Verified our reservation was good. Taxi didn't show for another hour after requested. We kept calling during that hour and was told the taxi is 10 minutes. Always just 10 minutes although it took an hour to get to us. Our driver was very nice and helped with our numerous bags and skiis and ultimately we got to the airport in just the nick of time. A very stressful morning due to this taxi service. I recommend paying more and getting a private company in Snowmass. Don't go through the stress. It isn't worth saving a few bucks. read more

1 star is too good for this taxi company. The first time I called during our vacation the operator lied and told me they did not run in town taxi until 8 pm. A few minutes later I talked to a fellow traveler who had just booked an in town pick up. To avoid any problem getting a ride to the train station the day of our departure I scheduled a taxi pick up a day in advance and confirmed the reservation the morning of pick up. Right as our taxi was due, the company called and told me that since our train was running late our taxi would be late too. I explained we had planned to grab lunch before catching the train and still needed the taxi as planned. I was told that was too bad and we would be picked "sometime before the train left". After eating an additional 30 mins I called again and was chewed out by the rep who answered the phone. After speaking other customers it apparently is the norm for this taxi company. read more

Waited 3 hours for a ride to and from somewhere in glenwood springs only to find out that the driver logged out when he was finally back in Glenwood springs. Was hung up on by multiple different people. Kayla was extremely rude and another British lady hung up on me and was rude and very unhelpful. THANKS FOR NOTHING. I miss Valley Taxi. When we called and asked where our ride was the lady was very little help and couldn't give us and estimated time of arrival or even a phone number to call our driver. 100 percent do not recommend! read more

DFW TO EAGLE miserable flight with aircraft circling the vail valley, diverting to Salt Lake City and after 6 hours Finally landed in Eagle with hoping to grab ride share and nothing. If I could leave no stars, I would. This company bought Valley Taxi and has ruined it. The single operator can't handle his overload of work, the lack of drivers and over-booking errors means they're EXTREMELY late, if they show up at all. And don't expect to be notified let alone have time to arrange other plans. CALL ANYONE ELSE if you want to make your appointments. read more

We reserved a cab from their online reservation for our trip from Vail to the airport. Everything went smoothly and our driver Victor even called about 30 min prior to let us know he was on the way. We also received a text that gave us his name, description of the vehicle and his current location to us. The cab itself was very clean and well-kept. Terrible! At 8am, I Confirmed an 830am arrival at beaver creek resort which was reserved 4 days prior. 830 came and went, NO TAXI. The gal who answers their phone couldn't tell me where our driver was. We nearly missed the day be flight a day out of vail because of this horrible taxi company. Terrible customer service. We recently used High Mountain Taxi from Eagle-Vail airport to our home in Edwards CO and returned to the airport a week later and had a very good experience. We used their online reservation system which was easy to use. Our flight inbound to Eagle arrived about 45 minutes late and HMT accommodated this well. The drivers were friendly and safe. We were picked up in a van for about $100 each way for all passengers in the van and our luggage. I will absolutely use them again. I was told by the drivers using the reservation system is the best way to go. read more

I got a knee injury and needed to see my doctor in vail. I flew in from the airport and waited an hour to get picked up. The taxi driver was super rude and told me to walk to my appointment. There's no way I could carry 2 bags and walk on crutches. Horrible mannerism. The guy was a jerk. read more

Made reservations from Eagle-Vail Airport to Lionshead/Vail via their website which was the worst part of the experience (their site isn't very sophisticated). Outside of this, both drivers were friendly and on time. They even called me the day before our return trip to reconfirm the time and had no complaint with me moving it 30 minutes earlier. The fleet isn't "black car glamorous" but at 1/2 the cost for a 35 minute trip, it's only common sense to use them and pay for a nice dinner in Vail with your savings. I'll use their services again next time we are in Vail. read more

This was a very unfortunate experience was waiting outside for 45min for a scheduled pick up. When the driver arrived not only was he not wearing a mask he asserted he didn't really want to drive us. Not the drivers fault really because the company didn't accurately communicate the right address for pick up or where we were going. read more
